Lucia buried her face in his chest and tried to go back to sleep.
Alex nodded and she walked outside and she sat down on the steps leaning her head against the railing.

Gary leaned his head back closing his eyes.
A long time later, Doc came out shaking his head. "it's not good," he said sitting down.

Lucia soon fell asleep holding onto Gary.
Alex looked at him,"What do mean?Whats wrong with him?"

Doc glanced at her and rubbed his neck. "He's been poisoned," he sighed. "The poison is slowly tearing apart his blood cells. It could only be a matter of months before he could die."

"Who would do that to him?Damn....I don't want him to leave." she looked at the ground with tears going down her face.

Doc glanced at the second in command and nodded for him to tell her. The second in command, Mike, sighed and told Alex the story of Jack's family tale about his uncle. "It has to be him, there's no one else who could be behind it."

Alex clenched her fists and stood up,"Mike make sure some of the crew check the ship for anyone on board that is not supposed to and bring them to me...if we find his uncle I am going to kill him."

Mike chuckled. "You'll have to get in line." Mike went below deck and the rest of the crew searched out for traitors.

Alex smiled a little then it faded when she looked at Jack when she opened the cabin door,"Your not dieing on me, my love." she closed the door and she went out on deck and looked around.

Mike came back up shaking his head. "We didn't find anyone, miss." He frowned then called all the crew to line up. "Every member of this crew when they joined took an oath and scar. If they don't have the scar, we have our traitor." Mike pulled his sleeve up to reveal a scared mark on his forearm in the shape of a crescent moon.

Alex rubbed her head,"Men...lift your sleeves so Mike can check if your part of the crew." Alex leaned on the rail clenching her fists.

One by one, Mike went down the line ripping the men's sleeve's off and to his anger, each man clearly had the mark. He did a double check, but no he was right. Every man in line had the crews marking. "This doesn't make sense," he sighed.

Alex sighed and then she smiled,"Mike...did you check the rum storage room below deck?" she thought that if Jack's uncle poisoned him with his drinks then he might be somewhere crew was supposed to go .

Mike shook his head. "But I will. Care to join me?" He asked holding his arm to his captain. "I'll hold him while you throw a few punches." He chuckled.

Alex chuckled,"Sure I will be very happy if you do." They head down to the rum storage room and she took out her pistols and she looked around.
