Saku Nox & Alex Nox & Fate Kitsu  Alex sighed yet again. "that's also true... but stil." he went quiet once more looking blankly at the flowers, the fastest thought to his mind was to change the subject... but to what? he didn't realize it but the answer was right before his eyes, well all around him but he just seamed to lack the thought to put it into words, he looked back at the figure to his side then back to the flowers. "Soo. umm..." he said as he quickly lost his trail of thoughtFate's breathing still seamed labored as she spoke but he was able to make sence of things better then he was at first, he stared up at the little girl, his ears flat against his head and tail pulled up tight to his side. that look of fear seamed to weaken a bit, but he still remained rather tightly to himself. quickly a look of confusion shot over his face, he tilted his head to the side. "s-small?" he asked, his voice cracked with fear still, but she was the smallest person he ever seen, he assumed she was a lot like him stuck in a evil place forsed to go through every test given to him, and having no memory but those of the lab.
Fate sat up his confusion was stuck on Hiryori no questions asked as if he didn't see saku. he went to sit up but held his side not knowing if he should speak or not, but he seamed to be far better off then when she started her healing skills. The boy didn't even know his name but he knew where he could find it as he reached up to his colar finding what looked like a dog tag. he tryed to show it to her but...Saku reached out to snatch it, her hand looking strange, covered in light fighting off shadows swirling round within. quickly she hid her hand behind her back. "F-fate?" she asked the child still shocked by seeing the boy Fate looked to saku and tightened up a little more as she grabbed his dog tags, but he did nod in response to her questioning words. he looked at the smaller of the two girls still over him questioningly as if he never seen someone like her before, after all he was raised in a lab so he was rather limited to the faces he saw, but never before has he seen a child like himself.((i'm proud of you making the first few steps in saving your guild and finding a little motivation in the process))

  Back in the church, Aerith slowly stood from the pew she was seated at. It was probably about time to leave, she had been here for a few hours now. But most of all, she just wanted to clear up the slight uncomfortableness she sensed from Alex. Maybe she was a little to worried, but it did seem he was uncomfortable. " Alex, have you seen the castle? It's known as Avalanche Mansion to us all, though, after a recent battle it has been a work in progress of fixing it up. There will be plenty of room, if you need a place to stay. If you have any family who needs a place, don't hesitate to come stay with us..In this world, we all need to band together and protect everyone, I sense you can fight well, maybe, would you like to join Avalanche? I think it should be done very soon, if not already. I live in a small house not far from it, though I do visit every day."
After she moved a little from the boy, so he wouldn't be quite so fearful of her, the young blond blinked as he reached up to the collar around his neck, and pulled out something of a necklace of two silver 'charms' as she thought. He only had a second of holding them up before they were snatched away by Saku, so making any small details out was rather impossible!
But, then she said the name in question. His name was Fate? "...Your name is Fate? " She asked him softly, smiling slightly. "That's a nice name..Maybe it represents the fate of meeting us? " This was her cutesy way of calming him down, but, it was also the truth! It was just how Hiyori thought.For one growing up in the very same environment as her young friend here, she always held a positive out look on everything, to be sure those around her were smiling and happy.

Saku Nox & Alex Nox & Fate Kitsu Alex shook his head."No... i havent but it's something i know my sisters would like to see, as for my family staying there, there's no way theres room, me pops both my bros and all my sisters, don't think so, takes a mansion just to hold us." he sighed as he watched her getting ready to run off. "you can take the offer and shove it... i'm no knight nor gunner, i gamble and that's just about it, besideds if it brings harm towards my family there's going to be a army of redheads here to find out why." if anything he did learn that his family was the first thing on his mind despite that tone of not caring filling his voice. Shortly after the girl backed up fate sat down with his legs pulled to his chest and tail around him on the ground. his Fate's eyes remained on the two girls the whole time the cold aura around fate seamed to start giving in he didn't understand it much but he was finaly being spoken to like a normal person not a 'test subject' not once did they ask him to do anything, yet alone tell him to, they didn't hurt him, infact they filled him with that odd warming thing from the healing the girl had done, so right off the back h was getting thoughts all mixed up, 'small people are nice, big are evil' or something along those lines.
Right when the blond asked him if that was his name he nodded his head slowly. though her next words filled his head with confusion, "M...Meet-ing?" he asked trying to ecco the word, he was still learing the words most people use, since his days were filled with 4 walls and tests all day with the occasional interaction with a sciantist or one of those men with the big sword on there backSaku was quickly fighting thoughts in her mind, 'Why is fate so tiny, why dose he speak so little, where is his armor and his swords.' she still didn't realise the diffrance in time since she did come back in time.

 "I really don't think finding room would be that hard. This place is very,very big..! " There were three stories of rooms all along and around that building, surly he didn't have -that- much family who needed a place to stay.Then, as his attitude seemed to take for a quick change of heart, Aerith was a little unsure what to say. It wasn't everyday she was spoken to like that. "I see..." Well, she didn't believe him so much.Not with that little display of cards earlier. They were more then just playing cards. "Well, I'm sorry if I offended you in some way. I only wanted to help. " Now it was getting truly awkward. "I should go, I have a few things I need to do, as well as finding out where my daughter sneaked off to.." How was she so good at sneaking off?
"Mmhmm! A good meeting..you know, so we can all be friends." Looking to Saku now, she lightly reached up to poke her. It seemed she was in some sort of deep thought."Right Saku? We will be Fate's friend."

"look, you can quit trying, i done said NO and that's all there is to it." he stressed, he didn't care if the house was large enough or if they wanted him to join the crew, even if he did his dad would be there the moment he found out dragging him back home."your child and my sis said they were going to the hot springs, don't even ask her about joining." he stated before making a brisk walk out the door.Fate tilted his head to the side, it seamed normal that no one would explain something to him. he loosened up a bit letting one of his legs down, and allowing his ears to poke up a little.Saku jumped back as soon as that finger poked her, it slightly diverted her train of thought which really wasn't that hard to do in the first place. "H-huh?.... y yeah." it felt odd she saw fate as her uncle but now she was going to help in raising him, as he did for her, "you... think we can leave the town soon? it's... odd with all... the ya know." she wanted a way to be let her ears up and relax, get away from the odd sounds that were never heard in a small town.Fate looked down at the ground then up to the blond raising one hand very timidly towards her his hand open

"...I'm sorry..." Aerith said softly, where did she go wrong in there conversation? It seemed to be going well, until she offered him in joining the team and having a safe place to stay at the mansion. It just, didn't make sense why he would suddenly become so angry. As he mentioned where Hiyori and her new friend went off to, she could only nod, though nothing more came from the Cetra, instead she watched as he left the church,only for her to remain behind for a moment longer to clear her thoughts.
"Well..Sure, I mean if Fate is okay with leaving with us? I don't really want to force him into it. " For an eight year old girl, she really sometimes just didn't sound like a girl of her age." Fate? Do you want to come with us? Were going to ride the Chocobo here to a peaceful, pretty place with springs and forest all around.." She asked him just as she noticed his hand slowly reaching to her, was this a hand shake? She seemed a little confused, but, decided to just go with it! The young girl slipped her hand into his gently.If he did shake her hand, after word, she would carefully begin to pull him up to his feet with her, as to help him up.

Saku Nox & Fate Kitsu Saku nodded, for once she was thinking about someone else, she knew how the older fate was, he hated towns, loved the woods, and water was the most calming thing, at least from what she remembered. "yeah, the noise is probably scaring him." "Cho-bo?" he asked again his head tilted to the side questioningly, in fact he just stared getting a view of his surrounding area, which didn't help his over all confusion, piles of trash, more tall people in the distance that quickly sent a chill down his spine, though luckily for him a good distraction put her hand in his, his eyes widened as he looked to where there hands met, something strange had to of happened, somehow he felt a little safer, the warmth of her hand was new to him, calming even, his hand gently grasped hers, the little tug afterwords led fate to standing, but he didn't want to let go of her hand((lol the pic on the left of your posts reminded me of what first brought out fate a bit, haha a simple stuffed animal haha))

"Okay, then! We will go right away. No scared Fate is allowed!" She said in a playful tone, giving a small smile as she looked back to her new little foxy friend. "He,he. Cho-co-bo. " She tried to say a little slower, so he would better understand how to say it. "They are the big cute birdies we can ride, they take us places safely. Don't worry, they don't bite, and there not violent. For such big animals, they are really gentle as long as you are nice to them!" Like anything in the world! So, with that, she motioned ahead to the stables, they could clearly see the bright golden yellow birds, along with other colors of blue, green and black in the mix. The keeper was currently feeding them, so they would be well fed for there short journey to the springs at the very least.

Saku Nox & Fate Kitsu The child pouted as his ears flattened down again, he couldn't help it, with all these people around, all these things he never seen before, he started to miss that tiny little room, with the buzzing light and that hard mat on the bench he used for a bed, even that thin sheet, he could always try and hide under it and it made it seam soo much warmer then all that cold air of the lab. But the girl, there was something about her that just made him want to follow, someone near his size, or was it that she treated him like he was a person, he couldn't be sure. "Cho-to-bo?" the boy tried once again to say the strange word. The boy was still confused over her explanation of the big yellow bird but he felt like he wanted to know more, hesitantly he followed her by the time they arrived fate saw the birds and looked to the girl then back to the birds."Chocobo?" he asked as he pointed out to the stables.Saku on the other hand sighed as she followed along just the one thought in her head. 'looks like i'm stuck babysitting.... again.' though this time the kids weren't even her family like normal

Hiyori blinked at him, covering her mouth as she giggled quietly. It was so cute how he first tried to pronounce the Chocobo. "Chocobo. They make funny sounds like, Wark! And sometimes Kweh! " Now she was just trying to be silly as they all walked to the stables. A small grin spread on the young girls features as she nodded to Fate. "Yep! That's it! Hee,hee, aren't they cute? "
It was a good thing Hiyori couldn't hear her thoughts, or she might actually get insulted by what her older friend there was thinking! Despite the fact Hiyori WAS a kid, she never liked to be treated like one. This was one eight year old who had many goals set for life,none of which was anything a child of her age would even aim for. For one, her idol, Stark. She wanted to be -just- like him.She really did see him as one of the most brilliant men on the face of the planet, and looked up to him dearly as annoying as that may of been for him.

Saku Nox & Fate Kitsu Fate's cheeks went a little red, that giggling was easily heard from his foxxy ears. he watched her with a bit of confusion as she spoke in sounds, quickly he shook the questions from his head. but as soon as she opened her mouth again fate looked at her, his eyes big blue and sparkly "Cute?" he asked with two blinks of his eyes and a swish of his tail, confusion filled his face, but what else was new?Saku said nothing and simply walked along behind the two kids, she face hit the palm of her hand "Fate come now... lets just go see the birds." she was focused on getting to the springs not really one to sit back and enjoy the ride like others were. she walked up two the two placing a hand on there back and nudging them along, only to say a choice "K@#!&%"word as her hands came back to her view the one that was on fate's back was covered in frost, while fate was scared stiff. the boy was keeping his mind on hiyori just to keep the other distracting even fear filled thoughts out, and the girl was doing well till saku came in and touched him.As soon as saku's hand touched fate a quick burst of cold air could be felt from him, even frost could be seen on his clothing hair and tail, but saku... she could feel the worst of it since she startled fate. Fate ran and attempted to hide behind the small blond... but how well did that work? ((made a few small changes))

Saku Nox & Fate Kitsu Luckily for the small girl fate was easily satisfied even with a response he didn't understand and still brought up new questions, though he didn't ask. even though the girl looked to fate asking him a question didn't mean he could answer especially after getting scared from what saku did. Saku went to rubbing her arm trying to warm it up after fate's little over reaction to simply having a hand placed on his back. "w-what.... i didn't do anything, alright!" she said in her defence but it didn't sound all that reassuring Fate took a long moment before remembering the small girl said 'no scared fate allowed.' he shivered at the thought of being left behind in this... odd world, he took two steps back and then one off to the side.
