Fourth year Gryffindor He decided that it was best to let it blow over. If she said that it was okay, then it was probably something she didn't want to talk about anymore. He watched the drawing become uncovered, and he smiled. "I could never draw something like that. I'm not much of an art student, although Poetry is something I can do really well. But that Doxy is lovely. You ever got the wrinkles right..." Again, he was being full of himself. His poetry wasn't poetry. It was rap...

Sparrow couldn't help but lighten up. She thought herself a fool for worrying about Antoinette. Soon enough he would learn of her evil ways. She thought the way Antoinette looked at him might suggest something and that would just make Antoinette jealous that he was with Sparrow and not her. Sparrow smiled. Drawing was something she prided herself on and connected to her dead father with. She replied saying, "Thanks I think the nose is a bit weird. I always have trouble with noses. What type of poetry do you do?"

Fourth year Gryffindor He shook his head. Caiden thought that Sparrow had nailed the Doxy down to a science. But, he let her worry about that herself. She would probably obsess over it, but it was better than letting it bother her. "All kinds, but mostly rap I suppose." He didn't even think about it, but she may not have known what Rap was. In the United States, he was exposed to so much Muggle Music, that it all seemed to mix there. But, that wasn't a problem to him, because he thoroughly enjoyed music. That was a passion he wouldn't share with someone, was his talent to sing and rap. He'd share the rapping part, but the whole Do, Mi, Sol, Do, thing? He couldn't let his image get ruined by that. He would tell Sparrow, but she didn't ask. Maybe she wouldn't ask, and then everything would be all set.

Sparrow was confused at the word rap. She supposed it was an American style, or maybe even muggle. She just had to find out more and asked, "What is rap? Is it interesting?" She had never heard of such a thing. Sparrow wasn't even that big a fan of poetry really. She preferred something with music and singing over somebody just rhyming things in a slow boring form.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden laughed. Of course she didn't know what it was. "How do I put it... It is... Pretty much poetry put to music and a beat." He hoped that made sense to her. He didn't know how else to describe it.

Sparrow thought she understood and it seemed better than regular poetry. She wondered what it would actually sound like. "Ah that seems interesting." She wondered if he sang as well. It would make sense to mix something like that with singing, or so she thought. She decided to ask saying, "Do you sing as well?" Sparrow was a terrible singer. Always has been.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden sighed. He did say to himself if she asked that he would be truthful. "Actually, I'm not too shabby at singing." Hopefully, she wouldn't ask for a demonstration. He wasn't in the mood to let his voice be heard right then and there. He didn't have a problem being loud at any other time, but he did, however, have an issue with spontaneous singing.

Sparrow decided not to press on it. Usually guys weren't to open about singing and she didn't want to interrupt the class. Instead she said, "Cool maybe I will get to hear your rapping and singing sometime." She would really look forward to hearing some rap. It was something new and different to her.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden nodded. Someday, he would show her, when they were alone together. Suddenly, he didn't feel like flirting with other girls. Suddenly, a feeling was in his stomach, which made it feel like he was about to empty his lunch. Suddenly, he started to like Sparrow. But, he wasn't sure of his feelings. They had only known each other for a little over a day. That wasn't enough to tell if he liked her. Swallowing, he smiled to her, hoping that the feeling would go away. He had never liked a girl before. Yeah, he liked girls, but not enough for that to happen. "I'd love to someday. Just, not around so many people," Caiden said with a slight laugh.

Sparrow grinned. She couldn't wait for that day. She understood how he felt about doing it in front of people. Some things were just not meant to be in front of crowds. Sparrow nodded and said, "Sounds great." She wondered if she would share anything with him in time. She didn't really have any secrets except about her family. Family was a hard subject for her. Sparrow then looked up at the Professor to make sure nothing new had started and when it didn't seem like it she looked back at Caiden.

Meiko walked in the forest with her quill and notebook and textbook. She yawned a bit, and noticed Aludra from the corner of her eye. "Hmm, she seems troubled..." she thought as she headed beside Aludra.
"Hey, it's been a long time since we spoke like this... how're ya and your family?" Meiko cheerfully said with a grin, placing her hand on Aludra's shoulder for a few seconds.

Professor Kalle Ithilwen | Vice-Captain | Care Of Magical Creatures Kalle nodded solemnly as the new student revealed she was blind. 'You can stay beside me if you wish,' she whispered in reply. She realized the girl would not want the entire school to know, and she guessed staying where she was would be a good way for her to remain inconspicuous.

 Amelia, in her infinite wisdom, said the first and only thing that was running through her mind, "Unicorns?" Admittedly, she would have answered the question like that whether it had been about Care of Magical Creatures or not. There was something in Olli's face that gave away her mistake and she frowned, finally thinking. "No. I meant....I hope it'll be as interesting as unicorns." In her mind, it was a great save. With a nod, she replied honestly, "I couldn't possibly imagine what it'll be." She hoped Olli wouldn't ask about the unicorns, not yet anyway. First she had to find them, which she planned to be doing with Kalle's help, then if they wanted it she'd bring Olli. But she didn't want to intrude on their hospitality. Therefore she had to ask first.
