".....Yeah..I was. For a while. From heaven,then dragged to hell, then back to life, then forced into some land of zombies and undead..So far, my life has been great.." She said sarcastically. "And I'm being chased by some crazy women who keeps trying to take me back there..Then...I to know he's gone by control of that b*****d wanna be god...I don't know what was better. Death or life.." Phoenix looked off toward the horizon, as the sun was setting..."I came back to life, only to lose Nero and I don't know what the hell to do to help him...So when I think about it, Everyone has someone special. I'm losing or lost my someone and I'm just left alone in the end..It's always that way. " She didn't once look at Isabel as she spoke, she just needed someone she could trust to talk to now..."What's worse is, the last time I saw him I was kinda mean..." Well, not really mean but more bratty then anything! Still, that wasn't a good last memory to have.."He kept putting up a barrier, to which I tried to destroy..When I did he passed out..I don't know what happened, rather I hurt him somehow..I just..don't know!.....god...!!!!! Never mind...Forget I said anything...Bye..." Now she was just angry at herself along with many other things, standing quickly, Phoenix stalked off away from her and headed out of the area to go away. That probably didn't help her feel better ether!

"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"   
Rinoa was out playing with Angelo, giving the dog some exercise as it needed with a fun game of Frisbee. Standing just at the shore line, she tossed the Frisbee into the water a good long ways, and watched with a little laugh as Angelo chased after it. It didn't go -that- far out. She didn't need to have her baby get eaten by a shark!! That was one creature of the sea she even feared. In moments, the dog came running back to her with the Frisbee. "Okay, go long!!" A grin spread over the young sorceress's lips as she tossed it as far as she could get it to go into the sandy area.
But the thing was, she didn't seem to notice the blond sitting there all alone again! Isabel failed on catching up to Phoenix, so she went back to her spot to sulk. It was then, after it was to late that she noticed the Frisbee heading for Izzy! "Ohmygosh!!! IZZY LOOK OUT!!!!" She yelled into the air,just when Izzy looked up, the thing flew -right- past her head, missing it in just that second! She could feel the wind from it, but that was about it! The next thing that she would notice was....
A wet dog as it pounced right onto her as it attempted to catch the frisbee!! Poor Izzy. Now drenched by the dogs wet fur, along with getting licked to death next! ".....I'm...SO SORRY! " Rinoa dropped to her knees, unable to hold in the laughter..Well, maybe this would cheer her up some!

Isabel tried to sit up, but the heavy dog there didn't seem to want to stop licking her face! In the midst of it all, she could hear Rinoa cracking up with laughter. "...Off! It smells! Get it off! " She gasped, bringing up her hands to cover her face from the kisses of doggy doom! "Ahh!! Stoooooooop iiiiiiiiiittttttt!!!" The more she yelled, the most Rinoa would laugh, and the more hyper the dog got! Angel was just being playful,she loved all the attention she could get! She almost laughed, but..she couldn't let herself laugh, not at such a time!
Rinoa finally got up, gesturing for Angelo to get off Isabel, still gigging at the same time. "..I honestly, truly didn't see you there.....Really sorry! " She held out a hand to help her up a bit.
I never thought it could happen to me...

"I thought... I thought I was beyond this...! Aiden Liler But I'm not, I've waited too long, lost too much!"  "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." Aiden continued to walk down his solidtary path he had been told to walk. He was not to tell anyone his identity, or relation to them. He was here for one reason, and nothing could comprimise that, for he had to return to his other world once he fufilled his duty here. A certain artifact had found its way here from his world where he had been trained: An... Apple, of sorts... "This must be it..." He said under his breath as he leaned down to a pile of rubble there, moving the rubble around until he found it, a note, that held a sketch of what he was looking for. The Apple of Eden... he thought to himself as he examined the sketch. He then turned it over, there was writing on the back of it that read...

Omega of Nightmares  A portal appeared near the group in the plains, though it had appeared out of sight of the group for a brief moment. It was all it took for Cosmos to come through the portal without immediate detection and raised a hand, swirls of dark energy barely visible to the naked eye. His red eyes glowed even darker as darts appeared out of nowhere and struck the group without warning. But most specifically, the target that Kai requested he kept held on. Nevertheless, the darts aimed to hit all three, and the impact would sting immensely. "Got ya, kiddies."

 Shiki {[::]} Ikuto  Kai  Noctis The portal opening went unseen and unheard...but he felt it...he felt Kai's magic appear...and turned to attack the scientist to see some kind of dart flying toward them. Naturally Noctis shifted his weapons to block, but Cheshire had interfered and took his 'shield' the second it would have hit..allowing that dart to hit him. It's sting was comparable to a sword cut almost, but the prince didn't allow a sound of pain to escape his lips, instead, glared at the winged one that shot the darts. "Hm...another pet? No matter..." Noctis switched to offensive and sent his axe and lance at the winged foe.
Before those weapons could reach their target, a barrier of light stopped them, "That's not very nice you know...Cosmos isn't my creation for one thing.."
While Kai spoke, Cheshire 'poofed' over to be beside Kai, "Neh, master...Cheshire did good?"
Kai chuckled and pet Cheshire's head behind his ears, "Yes..Cheshire did very good."
Shiki had used it's connection with Noctis to know about the new threat..she had dodged the one aimed for her..but took the one that was meant for Ikuto since he seemed least aware of the new threat. The beast turned and growled at the small enemy group...
Ikuto, too turned to watch their foes..four against three now.. but he trusted Noctis' and his ability to make up for that.

 Ethan The Turk Ethan was sitting under a tree, he had took a long vacation again, but this time it was because noone had caled him to come back to work, he stretched under the tree, He had his nunchukus around his neck and they were in their normal red form a the moment. He yawned saying," Wonder how the groups doing."

Kilian laughed as he brushed his black hair from his face. "Kai couldn't take the credit for that particular being, that was my own. But all the same, it doesn't matter all that much." He looked to Cheshire as it had poofed next to Kai, even witnessed as the scientist pet the creature behind its ears. Useful pet, he had to agree. But then he turned back to Noctis and his companions. "I suppose you're wondering what those darts are actually doing to you... well, it wouldn't take long to know, seeing as it would be cutting your movement abilities right about now. How fun, right?"

Shiki {[::]} Ikuto Kai Noctis "Feh...a pet is a pet...a pride-less fool.." Noctis stated as he glared, his eyes shifting to more of a blood red as Kilian spoke, "You....Shin-ra scientist.." Noctis growled out, the memory of their first meeting was still somewhat fuzzy, but clear enough to know he hated that guy's guts. Still what was said about his abilities was true...his body wasn't quite responding right. "Can't do anything without drugging your foes first...pathetic.. I can still take that flimsy barrier and your hides." he stated as his extra few weapons shimmered into view, blades infused with elements, old but sturdy collection from the past. Noctis sent the six blades at the barrier, earth first, then water, lightning, ice, fire and wind....it only took that one round to make a fair spider crack in the barrier.
Kai watched Noctis and the other two with a mildly amused gaze...he knew this barrier wouldn't last, it was a silent form of seeing of Cosmos' abilities could be trusted. He canted his head and looked at the elemental blades, "Hm..nice...I might have to take these with and have a closer look, my daggers need to be upgraded." he mused.
Cheshire calmly crouched, resting his oversized clawed hands on the ground and watching with barely any interest it seemed. He'd done his job for now and Kai could handle rest or order him to do something if needed.
It seemed that Shiki was a little less stable then Noctis, the swordsman knew, but didn't want to show any sign of weakness. The beast was young...only several weeks or so, so her mental state was just less guarded in general and more primal.
Ikuto glared at the group of four, "I wouldn't let you touch a hair on either of them.." the teen hissed, the air and ground around him starting to freeze as he prepared both a spell and his own transformation..

Cosmos watched on impassively, though a flicker of something went through his red eyes as they had just briefly flickered to the color of green. That was unusual. But it was gone as quick as it came as Cosmos went into an offensive stance. He smirked as Ikuto glared at them all and hissed that they wouldn't touch a hair on either of the targets. "Oh? I'd like to see you back up your words with your strength, kid. I'd like a good challenge." As Ikuto was preparing a spell while the air around him was freezing, black fire erupted from around his feet, slowly growing and encircling him as an aura. And this wasn't even preparation of a spell.

Shiki {[::]} Ikuto Kai Noctis Noctis quickly shifted his weapons for another round of attacks..after all, physical paralysis or no, his weapons could still reach...
That made a small smirk form on Kai's lips, sure, they spoke of Cosmos blocking that ability.... but he wanted to make that arrogant human feel helpless, and a human without a weapon was one of the most helpless things he knew. Plus he was curious about the type of alloy they were made with.. "Cheshire..be a good boy and take those weapons of his to the new lab. You can follow the traces of my portal to find it."
The maroon neko's ears flicked and he immediately got up, "Alright master...Cheshire will get them.." he stated before vanishing. When Cheshire had his mind set on something he was more useful then most would think... one moment he was by one sword, the next both were gone...that continued until Noctis' dozen weapons were gone. "All done master...Cheshire put them by your desk.."
Ikuto crouched a bit, "A cheater wants a challenge? FIIIIINE!" the last word came out more like a roar, a powerful ice storm similar to a Shiva's Diamond Dust burst out and flew at the enemy group, it was more then enough to shatter Kai's barrier. When that icy blast faded Ikuto stood in his real form, growling..the icy crescent spinning and casting off tiny shards, which were really whatever moisture was around the horse-sized panther.

Poor fools whom faced Cosmos when he's using his ultimate abilities were never aware that illusions were so potent as he could use them. "Most unfortunately for you boy, not just your body gets paralyzed... It's hardly possible to even summon a flicker of fire, much less your own weapons." Kilian played up the effects, and the illusion responded to the description; Cosmos was only changing the illusion a little that fits perfectly. It wasn't limited.
Cosmos in the meantime didn't need to even pay attention to his abilities as he allowed his illusions to be shifted to the way his father made it. It was simpler that way as he paid attention to the creature that the neko boy once stood. The ice blew away the barrier as easily as though it was just a web spun by a spider. Ha... this kid was obviously getting too worked up to be more cautious. "Give me your best shot, I feel up for this." Oh, he wouldn't transform into his phoenix form... it would be his ace in the hole if he really needed it. Drawing out his blades, the black fire that had surrounded him and his allies to block out the ice shards suddenly swirled up his body and down his arms, encasing the blades in their dark heat. Fire blades. He drew up one hand with the point right at the neko, waggling a finger to indicate that he was to make the first move.

The Sound of wielding and maintenance. Going up to the control tower that loomed over the bays and work stations. Looking over the reports, as the Hiryuu flew ten thousand feet in the air.
