Julian looked happy and yet she didn't seem to react like he had thought she would. He thought he was rather shy and... Maybe she didn't quite get what he meant. He made a soft clicking noise as he moved to stand beside her rather than facing her so that when he wrote something, she didn't have to crane about to read what he wrote. He slowly dragged a claw through the snow, writing the words that were shaky but still readable.
A DATE?
He tilted his head to one side questioningly.

Alcie had slowed down a bit but then she was ready to catch up. The lights of Christmas Town were getting brighter and she was getting even more excited to get there. Picking up her pace and feeling her heart beating faster, Alcie was ready for anything that came at them. It was time to catch up to Sin and Junko.

He tilted his head to one side questioningly. Tahkis face flushed red from behind her white feathers. A date? She blinked and looked from Julian to the writing. Wh-what? A boil was asking her out on a real date and not one of those fast paced ones she'd some how gotten mixed up in. Was this a novel? The gryphoness looked away for a second a little embarrassed by this all. But it was Julian and he was one of her best friends besides Amrita. Finally Tahki turned back to Julian and gave him a small shy nod 'yes'. Of course she would.

Julian popped back into human form just as Tahki was nodded, the smile he'd felt like having on his face evident now that he actually had a mouth that could smile. And he looked quite embarrassed and yet rather pleased with himself.
"S-Sorry, I just... couldn't s-stop myself," he said, rubbing the back of his head, looking down while he continued smiling. It was the most awkward place to ask her out, he really didn't even know what came over him, it'd just... happened.

The gryphon let out what could have very well been a chuckle. It was hard to tell though since gryphons don't typically chuckle. But all the same it was clear Tahki was in a good mood after hearing Julians confusion. Guts is what it took to ask some one out and that was something that Tahki could respect. She was honored that he felt she was worthy enough to keep him company on a date.
Tahki nuzzled into Julians shoulder letting him know the best she could it was alright.

In the chaos of the attack, Christof had staggered to a safe distance to peer frantically at the scene. If he was attacked again, there was no telling which seam might pop free this time, and he was not looking forward to juggling multiple faulty limbs! More students had made their way free of this terrible Land of Horribly Happy Toys, and they were so close! He wobbled to his feet again from behind his cover, positioning his crutch as he grit his teeth. Just... make a break for it while the Toy Terrors were occupied... He hobbled at full speed past Petro and had almost made his way past the gryphon and owl when Lizzy's cries made him falter.
It was pummeling her! Frolicking around her attempts to hit and tossing her around in the process! Hhhhhell's bells! His free hand dove into the pack on his back- and then stopped and rearranged since he had accidentally groped into Julian's bag, but ultimately he managed to find his Bell- but there was no way he could get a clear shot at a jingle until the beast was slain! Damn.
C'mon Lizzy! Stop being such a ghoul!

Julian hugged her when she nuzzled his shoulder, shifting back into owl form. He really did hate this constant changing. One minute he was hugging a soft, warm gryponess and the next he was too short to really be doing so. He made a soft his sound but twittered at Tahki, craning up to n** affectionately at her feathers. He wrote two more words in the snow, REST and SCOUT. He tapped scout and nodded, then tapped rest and moved his head to gesture to the rest of the group.
That done, he flapped over to his lights and then took off, flying towards the bridge off the island.
((And that's Julian's exit. He'll be waiting for the rest of the group on the other side, he's just being badass right now and needs that courage to get across the water. XD))
