Amber eyes and tense shoulders visibly relaxed at Severin's acceptance, but the tight line of thin lips showed something else. "You can say 'no.' Severin." Inka spoke on Severin's return. He felt like his presence was an imposition on the other man. "Even if you have the free time." He paused, regarding the Raigyo for a moment. "I don't want to say you look... 'frazzled' but I worry you..." He frowned, suddenly feeling like he was overthinking as well as overstepping. "I suddenly feel quite egotistical now that I'm about to say it but I worried how last night went upset you. I just wanted to apologise and explain but if it isn't something you want to hear, then I wont." Inka sounded a little rushed, wanting to get the words out before his line of thought got distracted or his courage and confidence on talking about the topic at all had left him.

Those three words, said in an immediate, near instant reply just as quickly banished Inka's doubts that his status - or mere presence - was influencing Severin's decisions. "I'm glad." He replied, his tone matching the truthfulness he had also received from the Raigyo. "I'm not familiar with the area. Where shall we go?" He asks, walking side-by-side with Severin out the hospital, a small smile on his thin lips.

⥏❀⥑ Tsu, Mushi, and Koko made their way into the hospital with relative familiarity. Tsu himself was a regular face, because he was pretty much always there with some question or animal to ask help for. Now, however, he proudly wore his shinobi headband around his neck as Mushi lumbered along beside him. Koko appeared to be trying to become one with the headband, curling up between it and Tsu's throat. Mushi was huffing and puffing, as large badgers are known to do, and settled to a slumped sitting as Tsu approached the counter,
"Hello! I'm hoping to be assigned a medic teacher! Can anyone spare me some time?" his voice was chirpy but respectful.

⥏❀⥑ Koko's head popped out of the headband to peer at the nurse and Tsu thought carefully about how to answer. He supposed "A medical ninja." he said finally, still with that chirpy, respectful tone. Mushi grunted at his feet, leaning into Tsu.

⥏❀⥑ Shikatsu. Tsu made sure to repeat the name over a few times in his mind, to ensure he remembered who he was looking for as he accepted the badge from the nurse "Thank you very much!" he gave her a bow that elicited a deep grumble from Koko and used the motion to scoop up Mushi. Carrying the badger much like one would carry an agitated toddler, Tsu walked down the hall carefully. The badge went to Koko to hold so he could keep a grip on Mushi with both hands as they approached the door indicated First steps! he thought, taking a deep breath before adjusting his hold on Mushi to knock firmly on the door. Mushi, used to being slung around, just hung in Tsu's grip, his clawed toes curling up to his belly while his paws hung over Tsu's arm. Koko held the visitor badge proudly as she rested her head on the headband aka the Koko hammock that was around Tsu's neck.

Shikatsu was working on something when he suddenly heard a knock on the door. This was odd because anytime he was needed it was usually an emergency and they just kind of barged in. He waited a moment to see if they came in anyway and were just being nice. Once no one entered he let out a sigh and raised his voice. "It's open!" He said, making sure that it was heard from the other side of the room.

⥏❀⥑ "Behave." Tsu warned Mushi as he set the japanese badger on the floor to open the door, earning a disgruntled puff of air from Mushi. Without waiting for permission from Tsu, Mushi pushed the door out of his grip and made his way into the office. Once the badger had established where he should ignore, aka the new face behind the desk, he promptly turned in a circle and sat to clean his claws. Tsu, red eared with embarrassment at Mushi's behavior, followed meekly behind the badger but continued on to stand in front of Shikatsu's desk "Hello, I'm Tsu Shizuko, new medic genin. I'm looking for someone to help teach me." Koko made a high pitched chirp and Tsu quickly introduced them both "This is Koko," he motioned to the marten under his chin and then pointed behind him to "This is Mushi. He's rude."

He thought for a moment and then stood up and walked over to the young lad He looked the genin over for a bit in silence. "Why?" He asked out of nowhere.

⥏❀⥑ Seeing the man get up, Mushi moved immediately back to Tsu's side protectively while Koko wound herself around to stand on his shoulders. Tsu swallowed a bit, unsettled by the approach but stood his ground. If he was going to be a medic shinobi he would have to learn to stand his ground in the face of worse things than another person's scrutiny. As he felt himself being examined, he waited quietly, hands held behind his back. Why seemed to be the question on everyone's mind today. This was the second time he'd been asked that. But, unlike with the acting Hokage, this seemed a more heavy question to answer "Assuming you're not asking why Mushi is rude," he started "to which the answer is because he's a badger, then..." he took a deep breath before answering in a bit of a rush "Before I joined the academy, there was a UHV attack that I got caught in. I got hurt and so did an animal I was trying to help. A medic shinobi saved both of us." he touched his left arm, which had been nearly crushed under falling debris from the attack. The quick thinking of that medic had saved his life "And I feel like, since my life was saved, that I should save others as well. And I want to. I want to save lives." Mushi rubbed up against his leg, grumbling a bit at the intrusion of the stranger into their shared space. But otherwise, neither animal made much noise or really did anything as they too waited to see what would happen next.

Shikatsu listened to the answer the young shinobi gave and thought back about 6 years ago to that very attack. It was not a good night in the village and he was on the front lines do whatever he could. He was the main medic that night so he saw to all of the injured. As the boy finished he knew that the Shinobi that saved the boy that night was actually him. He wasn't sure if he should bring that up now or not tho. He decided that he would hold off on that, for now anyways. All of this had gone through his mind in about 5 seconds as he made his way back to the desk. "Very well."

Tsu swallowed his excitement, reminding himself that he had not actually confirmed anything and was most likely on a probationary period as a student. Calming himself, he gave a little bow that sent Koko to his shoulder, her tiny claws gripping his hair "Thank you! I shall endeavor to be a good student." Mushi grumbled a bit and Tsu tapped him with his foot, silencing the badger, before speaking again "What would you like me to do or tell you first?" he asked, assuming his new teacher would have questions or duties for him.
