Pip frowned as Alice got so snappy, she didnt have to be bitchy to him. Didnt they have something? Especially after that night? Pip picked up the letter and read it. His green eye instantly showing shock and then anger. His lips went from a gaping hole to catch flies with, to a scowl.
"Non. Non... Merde! C'est des conneries! Cette petite ordure!" Pip went to full on French for this. He slammed the letter down on the counter and glared at Alice.. only to have is gaze falter. It wasnt her fualt.. it was ******** Keiths.
"And i suppose you will fire me to for whats mentioned in t'is about us?" Pip said upset about the whole thing. His friend, only one he had since his boys had died, was out of the job! And they were being sued over.. bullshit reasons, or at least what Pip saw as such. Keith could rip into everyone, make them feel like crap but the minute anyone tried it back? This is what happens?!
"And what about all t'e times 'e made us feel like s**t?! Emotional damage.. pft." Pip scoffed and stormed away from the bar area. He pushed open the males bathroom door and let it slam shut. He wanted to tear his braid out he was so upset.

Bela's blue gaze followed the direction of Pip's finger, pointing upward to the balcony where Alice and Walter were... squaring off? If it wasn't for Alice's face, she would have believed it was just idle chatter; not to mention the papers they were passing around and Alice slapping Walt's cellphone away. Wow, Alice was royally pissed! This was so not a good time to come tell her that Keith was in a Catastophic Coma! Wait, that didn't sound right... aw, ********! Now that idiot farmsboy had her tripping over her words, too!
Bela was much too busy to notice the oncoming tornado that was Alice, once Rachel sauntered up to her with b***h in hand. Damn it, why couldn't she keep it!? Before Bela could shove the pup back into the woman's arms with a huff, she was off to stopping Romane. Wow, lovely. She lifted the dog up to eye level, her look just showing many levels of disgust for the adorable little critter. In comedy movies, this is the part where the puppy pees all over the owner. Ah, it was male. b***h was male! Oh, yes, now's the time you put the pup down, Bela. And she did just that, letting it scamper off in some random direction. What a stupid pup...
When she looked up again, Walter was gone, Alice was upset... aaaand so was Pip, by what she saw. They all had revolved around some papers which Pip had left over there, on the bar. She would move to read them, but she was really not sure if she should. "Cyclops," Bela said gently, not wanting to get blown up at. She was about to break some bad news, but she needed to know what was up. "I'm guessing those documents over there is what has everybody's thong in a twist?" She asked the woman's back, having turned her head a little to the side and made her voice as to coax the information out of the woman. She had all day to see Keith, right up until visiting hours were over. Before she knew it, Bela's forearms were on the bar, supporting her weight as she leaned over the bar to listen to Alice. Sure, she bitched off Alice on occasion, but when Alice bitched her off... well, that just wasn't something as common.

"Ah...ah?" Started the man in mid-voice as he was about to order himself a beer. Had he came to the bar at a wrong time of the day? He just wanted a small somethign to drink, to quench his thirst from that damn heatwave... no to stumble in the middle of a bar fight... "Did... did I just hear the bartender leaving?" He asked aloud. He was hearing other people around him, at least three, maybe four, so he knew he wasn't alone in the bar, but maybe it was their fault that the bartender was angry. He couldn't tell! he was blind for the love of God Almighty! Not that he was as pathetic as some when it came to blindness, but there were still things he couldn't know, like if there was a bartender or not currently.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Alice 'Madame Mia' Ladd - __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ He did not just... "Pip get back-Damn it" Alice's voice faded as the Frenchman left the room. Luckily, she had just found one of the bottles of wine she kept around and was serving herself a glass. Granted she didn't get the chance to taste it before Bela reminded her she was here. Her gaze narrowed ever so much at the 'Cyclops' comment, before being reminded of the documents. "You... have no idea" sighed the woman.
Someone else was inside? Alice raised an eyebrow at the newcomer and nodded slightly. "If you wait a bit we'll have a new one coming in" said the woman before taking a sip of her drink.
Didn't she have something to explain to Bela? "It turns out... the thorn in my side, that seems to enjoy tormenting you... has decided to sue me. Isn't that nice?" explained Alice with a sarcastic smile. "Just read the damn thing. It's too much bullshit to read again." And cue snap and glare. "All I know is I'm ripping that little s**t a new one..." Of course Alice was unaware of Keith's current state...

"Guten abend Frauliens." Hans said cheerfully not knowing the train wreck he was walking in on, as he came into the grindhouse. His smile faded when he saw Alice behind the bar, Bela looking none to happy, Pip and Walter missing. Matthew.. MIA as well. The two local cops and a child? Oh and there was.. who was this fellow? Sitting at the bar. Hans joined the man at the bar, it seemed the safest of areas right now. Glasses and a cane, intersting. "Ach.. Herr.. i do nicht vant to be rude. Aber, you are Blind ja? Ich bin Hansel. Vhy dont i buy you ein beir?" Hans asked gently taking a seat besides him. _____________
It would be a bit before Pip came out of the bathroom... And of course he was smoking like a fiend. When he did come out he approached the group of women near the bar and watched as Hans tried to help an apparrant blind guy. For now he positioned himself at the end of the bar to keep an eye on things. Or rather, to grab himself a beer and drink it down.

Of course, Kevin had heard someone else entering the bar. A Blind man used their sense of hearing much more than the next person. Judging from the sound of the foot step, this was either a man, or a heavy woman... who walked very fast. Yeah, that was a man, he would bet on that. When the newcomer did spook, Kevin smilled to himself. He had been right! He should have taken a bet. He'd had won. then again, who would have bet agaist him? Yeah, that was just stupid. He turned his head in the direction of the voice, looking at the man... well, pointing his eyes where the man's right ear was. Hey, that was close enough. At last he had his glasses to stop him from looking too silly. "Ah! No, no. It's not rude at all! Yes, I'm blind, but that's not a big deal. I get around quite easily... well, sometime you I miss a step in the stairs like I did just now." He laugh lightly, passing his hand thought his hair. He felt silly, having done that. He wasn't the kind to blame everything on his blindness. That wasn't stopping him from living his life. He just had to adapt. Something that some blind people didn't even try to do and simply preferred to pity themselves. "A bear? Well, that's the reason why I came here, so of course I'll accept! Although.. from what I gathered, the barman just left." He shrugged. It wasn't his business... even if he really was curious to know what had happened. One should be in soon, so that was good enough for him. "You're accent? That's German right? Wouldn't thought I'd here one like that here too! Best friend has one too, less think than you however. Oh! Oh, no. Sorry! I don't mean to be rude. Just... hahah, he's been talking English longer, I suppose! He tried to teach me, but, I fails miserable! I can only say Gunten Tag and Shisse!" He laughed some more, looking just slight bit pathetic then he usually was.

Bela nodded lightly, sliding smoothly into Friend Mode. Which always consisted of lending an ear to whatever the problem was, which, incidentally, always ended up being something HUGE! "To get you this riled up, I surely don't!" Blondie said, shaking her head. It was meant to be teasing, but the other woman's energy was just so... different... than usual. Bela had to walk on eggshells as it is! But, alas, Alice's attention went to somebody behind Bela. This prompted her to ignore whoever it was.
Once Alice got back to her, she started to speak about Keith. Well, who else was all that, if not Keith? "What?!" Bela asked scandalized, shocked at the revelation. The little s**t was suing them? This could end up involving her, too! "Oh, I will!" She nodded, standing up straight and going over to the abandoned documents. Reading them over as she walked back to where she had been. Oh no he did not just... Bells thought as she read, shocked at all the accusations. Hadn't he done all that to them, if not worse? And how dare they accuse them of something that was pretty much Connor's fault!
And then she read that she wasn't to be involved in any of those charges. Wow, for some reason, it made her heart thump a bit. He had thought of her... D'aawww~ But, then she read the whole firing Walter thing and she understood perfectly what the young LeBlanc meant with his message. Damn him! Bela knew that she wasn't exactly on good terms with Walter, but she certainly had come to appreciate his presence... if just a little.
All through this, Bela's mouth was hanging wide open. And she slowly let the papers down onto the counter again, her eyes looking up at Alice with some kind of undescribable emotion. Cyclops was in deep s**t. "Well, what are you gonna do?" She asked the other woman, still withholding the information from the elder LeBlanc.

"Ach nein ist nicht rude." Hans said with a light blush of embaressement. "I know i must vork on my accent. I have been tryingt to learn die Englisch.. mein Neice speaks ist better zten i do." Hans admitted, he ran a hand through his golden locks, not that the man could see but still. "Und ztat ist nice to heir ztat your fruend sprechen sie Deustche. I could alvays teach you to, if you vill help mich vith die Englisch, ja?" Hans said with a light laugh.
"Fraulien Alice.. i hate to be.. ah rude.. aber.. vhere ist Valter?" Hans asked gently.
"'ans 'e was fired.." Pip commented as he grabbed the two men a beer from behind the counter and set one infront of each. He sat down in Walter's stool behind the counter and inhaled deeply on the cigarette he had.
"Fired? Fur vas?" Hans questioned. "Ach.. Ztis ist Pip.. ein Frenchman, he ist die muscle heir." Hans said gently to Kevin. "Pip ztis ist.. ach.. Herr i do not ztink i got your name?" Hans asked gently.
"For some bullshite t'at Keit' is pinning on 'im." Pip said with a shake of his head.

Kevin laugh again as the man tried to explain why he had an accent. Hey, at least he could speak English enough to be understood! That was better than him. He could just speak one language. He couldn't speak anything else to save his life. "Ah, you know what they say. Immigrant's children are personal little translator." Youth cough up in language much faster than adult. This why it wasn't rare to see children translating for their parents even when they had both been living among another language for the same amount of time. "Ah! Yes, sorry! I was being rude again, wasn't I? The name's Kevin. Kevin Winnicot." He said, extending his hand for a handshake.... and only ending up having it mere inches from the German's crotch. Hey! Can't blame a blind man for things he can't see! "Nice to meet you, Pip, muscle frenchman and... I believe you haven't told me your name either.... unless I'm starting to have Alzheimer... Is should get myself checked for that.. I've been forgetful lately..." He stopped taking for a moment, thinking to himself. Should he worry about that? Was he getting that bad? No, no. Not more than the normal man under stress from moving to a new place like he was. He shouldn't have to worry... he hopped. "What about this Valter and that Keith? Was one of them the bartender who's not bar tending? If it's bullshit, why is he getting fired?" Those were all legitimate questions, right? He wasn't being nosy, right? Oh, he hoped he wasn't! He was just trying to make small talk! Ah, now he felt awkward.

Romane scowled in frustration as her superior simply had to stop her from following the British man. For starters, she couldn't say no to the local sheriff! It could mean losing her job and, as a result, her gun. Then there was fact she had to be steered back when she felt somewhat accomplished for walking so far in those awkward shoes! It was a smaller part of her irritation, barely existent, but it was still there and it was still an annoyance! She frowned at the blond and sat down, regardless of her distaste in not doing what she wanted. She took a drink of the soda to calm some, grimacing slightly at the sugary taste. It wasn't bad, but it certainly felt oddly sudden to have such a sugary drink in her system. She practically lived off of coffee, after all, and that was nothing like this.. “You are completely aware that I was in my rights as an officer to shoot Mr. Dolones.” She stated once again, having gotten enough heat for the man's energy when it first happened. If he didn't want to get shot, he should have listened to her instead of assaulting and possibly destroying her property! She glanced at the rest of the bar, taking in and assessing newcomers instantly before determining all of them dangers and all of them in need of being watched. It didn't take long for her to overhear the Dolones issue, what with everyone blabbering and cursing over it. So, he was fired. Good, the man was a murderer and possible pimp, not to mention an idiot. It wasn't as if she would feel sorry for him being fired for any reason.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Eleanor 'Ellie' Vatonage, Rachel Fate, & Alice 'Madame Mia' Ladd - __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Alice knew a third glass of wine would be enough to have her calming down some. She had already blown up what she needed, and there wasn't much she could do about the situation right now. Besides, Rachel and those other two were inside, and they had customers. Pip was sitting not too far from her now but he must still be mad. Why wouldn't he be? Walter's his friend.
The woman let Bela react to the papers, falling into everyone's 'WTF?' reaction once they were done. She sighed at the blond's question and shrugged slightly. "The only thing I can do. Settle." Alice wasn't stupid, she knew she couldn't fight this. "One part of it is done" she added, motioning to the paper, in reference to the bottom part. "I just have to get to the other two."Rachel had pretty much been busy with Romane the past minutes. Eleanor had one elbow on the counter, the beer in front of her. She'd slowly taken down at least half of it, and right now was letting the drink sink in. It felt weird... Her eyes scanned the room to find the blond from before less intimidating, that bartender gone, two new men, and the boss and an employee pretty damn mad. Rachel and Romane obviously paid no mind to the new males, but Ellie did. Well she was the one sitting on the other side Kevin, with Rachel and Romane to her side.Alice's attention drifted to that male's questions for a moment. ...Did he mention something about being blind? Well... maybe but she didn't catch it. Though she was certain it had to do some with the glasses and cane. "Because it's complicated. Now really, I don't think you two came to hear the troubles going on" commented Alice, actually not being sarcastic, but mostly to drop the topic. Right on time, their NPC bartender huddled through the House's steps and made his way to the counter greeting the bunch. He didn't take Walter's stool for he was too busy running around setting things up. Alice nodded to the male before walking past Pip and setting a hand on his shoulder, before basically signaling him to leave the area.Back to the officers... Rachel simply shook her head at Romane's words. "We talked about this. Leave the man alone." stated Rachel herself before looking over to the bartender. Perfect, they'd have something else than beer. For now she would be taking a few sips of her beer. "Come on Romane, this is an outing. Take a break. Release your gun. Chill" said the blond with a small smile.

Romane frowned – yes.. just a simple outing. That was why she had come out, wasn't it? She pursed her lips, having some trouble understanding what chill was supposed to mean. Romane didn't particularly care for a perfect temperature, there were more important things to think of, but she didn't really want to get colder for any reason. Though, it was rather hot outside, she could understand the need for it then, but, at this moment? No, she was fine. She did understand the other requests, however, as she.. slowly, very carefully, forced herself to release her hold on the hilt of her gun. She didn't like it, though.. If she was with Cid, she would have probably took his hand instead, but the man wasn't here. She had to make sure that Rachel and him didn't meet, if only because she was afraid they would start becoming friends behind her back if they met.
“..Fine.” She consented reluctantly with another drink of soda, which she wasn't enjoying one bit. How could anyone actually like this?! It burned her nose and throat and tasted much too sweet, while she knew it wasn't healthy at all! “..I do not enjoy soda pop.” She said after another taste and set it down, crossing her arms to stop herself from grabbing her gun as she took scan of the area. “What other activities are there to perform on an outing? I do not see a possibility outside of drinking and conversing.” Which would be hard, since she had Alice on one side with Eleanor beside Rachel.. She couldn't think of anything but work with the blond, while the redhead and Ellie simply made her uncomfortable. Practice at Rachel's was much more enjoyable than this..

Bela frowned once hearing Alice's decision to just 'settle'. Keith could be a real threat when he wanted to be, especially how he pulled those Xanatos Gambits straight out of his a**. Maybe he got it from his mother. Bela had intended to go see her, but the blonde had gotten... side-tracked. Stupid emotional outpour at the Clinic! Sad thing was, Bela knew the young man didn't hear a word she said. It was so very depressing in that room! She stayed a good few hours just watching, hoping Keith would come out of his trance-like state. It was very hard to watch him just be so... out of it, which was a very un-Keith-like thing.
Although, for some reason, she envied him. How easy it would be to just fall into a coma and drop all your responsibilities! Bela had so much going on lately, besides taking watch duty for the boy, working and sporadic visits to Xeiro; who was such a stress reliever, he had no ******** idea how much! Like, painkillers to the problems of her life. Most of them revolved around Keith lately, as far as she was concerned. After a moment, she realized there wasn't much of anything she could do to help Alice or Keith. Why was she always so helpless in these situations? Everybody always thought she was so aggressive and assertive, but at times like these, she just couldn't do anything.
Bela had also yet to tell Alice about 'Vlad's' letter, too. They both had been much too busy doing their own things apart to talk much of anything; except of her co-workers. Bela had to go clear that up with the elder Tepes twin. Just another thing that her cry fest in Keith's room at the Clinic had put on hold. It wasn't of too much importance, so she'd get around to that at some point. Vlad was bound to be busy hounding his other 'victims' to remember her. Did she still have that letter? Ah, no. It's probably back in her room. Two things she had to tell Alice now, not one. However, Alice was much too busy talking with some... blind guy.
She had noticed the bartender arrive a little earlier, but she did not greet him. Bela didn't feel up to drink anything today, nor will she any day of this week, probably. Hey, wait a second, where was b***h? Meh, it's not like she cared at all, anyway. That damn pup had almost kept her up all night with it's annoying little whines.

"Hansel Veber. Ach sorry fur ztat, Herr Vinnicot." Hans said to the blind man, he then turned to Alice and addressed her. "Ja, sorry Fraulien.. ist just sad to hear." Hans said with a light frown, Walter was a good bartender.
"Walter, and Hans i t'ink you can call 'im just Kevin." Pip said gently. "Eet is complicated..." Pip repeated Alice's earlier statement. He sighed and grabbed himself another beer. He grabbed one for Hans and another for the blind man. He put the blind mans against his hand that was on the counter. "Careful eet is open, no? Why dont we forget eet for now and 'ave a few drinks?" Pip said with a light smile. Ah alcohol made everything better... well not better... okay maybe for that night it made things better. And Pip was all about getting drunk right now.. job or not.
"Ztat i can drink to!" Hans laughed as he started on his beer. "So vhat do you do Kevin?" Hans asked the male.

"Ah, yes! Please, call me Kevin. Herr Vinnicot just sounds so... formal." The man said with a slight frown. He was here to relax, not to be taken as some sort of person needed more respect than all the rest, just because he was blind. Which was also the reason why he went on. "And please, Pip, no need for you to babysit me either. I'm only blind, but tell me, who in this world isn't?" Feeling philosophical? A bit. But still, he knew how to swim and ride a bike as well as the next person! As long as no one put any obstacle in his way, that it. That would have just been mean. He took the bottle of beer an brought it to his lips. Not bad, not his kind, however. Oh well, who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth? The beer had been paid for him, so he wasn't about to complain that it wasn't his kind. He smiled back in Hansel's general direction. "Ah, no work related questions either, we're here to relax! Let's just pretend that I'm a medical surgeon, Hans is jewish rabbi and Pip is nurse."
