I stepped back my face flushed. I laughed a little at his comment. "I need to go and you should probably return as well." I said leaping onto the roof. I smiled and winked at him then disappeared.

I smiled, "Be careful, my lady. A looming darkness approaches. Me and the Knight will provide you and your friends with all the support we can muster. Thanks for the pep talk, Saturn. It helped."
That's when I sighed, "And now I have to repay you again."

I smiled and slid down the other side of the roof quickly swinging into my room. I became Hotaru again and sighed. It felt strange kissing Akira as Saturn knowing that I would have to try and not act any different around him. I grasped my transformation wand and used it to create a small phone like device. I left my room and went in search of Akira after I hid the wand.

I went back into the house, and I wiped away my doubt, thanks to Saturn. That's when I saw Shinichi sleeping on the food.
I laughed silently, "Some things will never change."

I looked at Akira. "Ah! Akira! Saturn stopped by and wanted me to give this to you." I whispered holding out the phone like device. "She said to use it if you ever needed her help."

I smiled, "I hope you give one to Shinichi too. Besides. Shin-kun's asleep."
That's when I looked at Hotaru. I said, "It's strange. Whenever I'm with you, Hotaru, I feel the same way I feel when I'm with Saturn. Completely safe, and I don't need to worry about anything. When I'm with either one of you two... I feel as if everything's going to be all right."
That's when I groaned lightly, "And now I have to repay Saturn for helping me to get my confidence back. But I may think of something."
I thought, while having a grin, 'Yeah. I'll pay her back, Zodiac Senshi style!'

I nodded and set one down on the table for Shinichi. I stayed silent listening to Akira talk. For some reason I wanted to cry. I didn't know why or even what caused this sudden sadness. I smiled a bit wearily at him. "Well, I hope she...can always be there...to help you."

That's when I turned away from Hotaru and unbuttoned my pajama shirt. I let it slip and it revealed the scars on my back.
I asked, "Not a pretty sight, is it?"

I inhaled sharply but couldn't bring my gaze away from the scars. Shakily I brought my hands up to my mouth to keep in any unwanted noise. I couldn't stand the sight of the scars but I couldn't look away. I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry, I wanted to run away but I couldn't do any of it.

I sighed, while recovering my scars with my pajama shirt, "I know. It's a horrible sight. I tried everything to heal these scars. Nothing worked."

I said nothing as I sank to the floor. All my self-control flew out the window as I burst into tears. I cried bitterly, my face hidden by my hands.

That's when I wiped the tears from Hotaru's face. I asked in a genuinely concerned tone, "What's the matter, Hotaru? It's really not your fault that this happened to me."

I looked at Akira a moment then threw my arms around him and hugged him close to me. "I know I had nothing to do with it, but I never want to see something like that again. I never want to think of you in pain." I cried softly.

I replied, while hugging Hotaru, "And I don't want you to see you in pain as well. I've never shown the scars to all of my friends, Hotaru. This is the first time that I've ever trusted anyone with my past here on Earth, and with evidence of my abuse. I know Michiru and you trust me..." Then, I asked, "But still, how can I get Setsuna to trust me?"

I said nothing as I held onto Akira. Soon I willed the tears to stop and I smiled lightly. "Setsuna-mama is a hard person to understand. Even Michiru-mama and Haruka-papa sometimes don't get things she says or does. It will take time."
