"Yeah, that is true," Arielle responded, "Maybe we can work on that more often. Cooking with you is so much fun. I'd really love to do that more, well that is, if you want to." She smiled shyly and pushed some of her hair back. As she sat some of the other dishes in the sink, after rinsing them off, she looked up when Kedrick was talking about getting ready. She nodded in agreement and was surprised that they would first be heading over to his home before the hospital. She now felt anxious about going over to Kedrick's and meeting the rest of his family, but she only hoped that all would go well. "That sounds like a great idea. I can't wait to see the rest of your family and your home."

Kedrick Suwa

Kedrick smiled at her, reaching over and gently brushing her cheek with the back of his knuckles. "Don't worry about it, they'll love you!" He said with a delighted smile. "I'm going to go get dressed, see you in a few."

Kedrick stepped out of the kitchen and turned a few corners, now facing the steep set of stairs he would have to descend. Kedrick sighed softly to himself, all the stairs in the house could be a real pain. 'no use complaining, you'll have to go up them eventually. It's your own fault for picking a second story bedroom.' He reasoned and began to climb. Up the dreadful stairs at last, Kedrick padded almost silently down the hall in his socked feet, the thick shag carpet sinking underneath him. Kedrick pushed open the door at the end of the hall at stepped inside. He pulled open his drawers and pulled out a pair of nice, dark jeans and a simple white T-shirt. He changed quickly and snagged his jacket on the way out, before returning to the kitchen to wait for Arielle.

Everything inside of Arielle wanted her to keep Kedrick's hand there, It felt nice when he did something like that, so kind and gentle. Her stomach did flips and her cheeks warmed as she smiled confidently about Kedrick's faith in his family liking her. She only hoped that it would go well though. She only nodded in a somewhat dazed manner, wishing that she had summoned up the courage to hold onto his hand. She shook her head lightly, trying to stop acting like some love sick girl, well more than usual, and headed up to her room, closing the door and getting ready for the day.

After a nice warm shower, Arielle headed downstairs wearing a nice and cute casual outfit and her hair was pulled into simple ponytails. She walked into the kitchen, seeing Kedrick waiting for her and smiled. "Ready to go?"

Kedrick nodded his head with a smile. "Yeah, you look nice." He said as he opened the door for her and the two of the walked out to the car. Kedrick slipped into the driver's seat and pulled his seat belt across his shoulder. "If my lady is ready." He said looking over and smiling at her. "Then we'll be off."

Within a half-hour drive they had pulled into the driveway of a three story house. Despite being large, it otherwise looked very normal, with a comfortable, lived-in look about it. It had a sizable garden out front with tall, flowering bushes and twisting hedges. Looking past that Arielle could see the gray-stone front of the house with three or four brick chimneys and a sturdy looking roof with a fancy iron grating that ran around it top. "Here we are." Kedrick said, pushing open his door and stepping out onto the well-groomed lawn. "This is where I grew up."

"Thank you," Arielle responded with a shy smile, for both her compliment on her appearance and him opening the door. It felt like such a nice day, and the sky was hardly heavy with any clouds, a day that was supposed to feel like complete bliss. The foreboding thought about later kept trying to crawl into her mind, and it was thanks to Kedrick's voice that she didn't think much of her meeting with Jonesy. "Of course I am," she replied with another smile as she slid into the passenger seat, closing the door and fastening her seat belt.

As they pulled up to Kedrick's home, she couldn't help but stare at it in awe. It was such a beautiful place and the garden was gorgeous as well. She unfastened her seat belt and got out the car one Kedrick parked it and turned it off. As she stepped out of the car, she let her eyes suck in everything she was seeing. "Your home is amazing, Kedrick," was all she was able to get out with the same awed expression on her face. She now couldn't help but feel excited about seeing the interior of his home as well as the rest of his family.

Kedrick Suwa

Kedrick smiled softly at her, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked up at the roof. "Yeah, it is nice..." He said, Kedrick remember countless afternoons playing on the lawn in his mothers carefully kept garden. You could always count on seeing Kedrick and his sibling playing games on sunny days, weather it was, tag, hide-and-seek, or a terrify game of pirates and merchants. (Sakimi always seemed to deem herself captain of the pirate ship and thoroughly enjoyed 'running through' her younger siblings with a wooden sword.) Kedrick quickly shook himself out of his reminiscence. "Well, lets head in." He said with a small simile.

Kedrick stepped up the cut granite steps to the door of the house, pushing it open without knocking. "Helloooo?" He called, peering around the doorway. "Anyone home?" A young girl, Arielle aged her to be around eight years old, skittered into the foyer, freezing to the spot. She had a few freckles across the bridge of her nose, a heart shaped face and pale blond hair cut short in a pixie-cut. Kedrick face broke into a grin "Raine!" He said watching the sight girl's eyes widen in recognition. "Kedrick!" She cried, running forward and trowing her arms around her brother's waist, almost knocking him backwards. Kedrick laugh, swaying slightly before kneeling down in front of the little girl and holding her at arms length. "You cut you hair!" He said with a smile. Reaching out, he touched the soft fringe of pale hair. "It so pretty." "Yeah." She said with a smiled, tucking her hands behind her back and rocking back on forth on her heels. "Sakimi cut it." Raine said smiling. Kedrick smiled in return. "You're a very lucky girl to have a big sister like her." He said, tweeking her noes. "Yeah but she yells at me all the time!" She cried in indignation. Kedrick burst out laughing. "O-Okay, I can see how that would be true." He sighed, brushing some hair out of his face. "Raine. I want you to meet someone." Kedrick stood up and turned to Arielle. "This is Arielle, she's...she's very special to me." He said with a small smile. Raine, catching sight of Arielle for the first time, gasped in a sudden paradox of shyness and hide behind Kedrick.

Arielle nodded and followed Kedrick inside. She waited patiently for anyone to notice they were there. Gladly, she didn't have to wait as a young girl of about eight entered the room. She soon learned that her name after Kedrick exclaimed happily and went to hug his younger sister. She didn't say anything, just watched them with a small smile. She had no siblings, younger or older, but she knew that feeling that was being shared since she had so many cousins. When he introduced Raine to her, Arielle noticed just how quickly she transformed from being somewhat bubbly to being shy. Arielle looked surprised at first, but only smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Raine. You have a very pretty name."

Raine peeked out slightly, staring at Arielle like she had never seen anything like her. "T-Thank you..." She said softly, her voice bearly above a whisper. Kedrick laughed softly. "C'mmon Raine, no need to be bashful, Arielle's a friend." He glanced back at Arielle, smiling in a 'give-her-some-time-she'll-come-around.' Kind of way. Raine suddenly burried her face in Kedricks stomach again, seeing as she only came up to bearly above his waist, and mumbled somthing incomprehencible. "What was that peach?" Kedrick asked, crouching down and pulling Raine back a bit. Raine looked uncertainly from side to side and then leaned forward, whispering into Kedrick's ear. Kedrick's face bloomed into a smile and he turned back to Arielle. "She say's you have a very pretty name too. You remind her of a mermaid." He said, quoting his little sister word-for-word.

"You're welcome," Arielle replied sweetly, trying not to unknowingly frighten the girl in any other way. She nodded in understand when Kedrick gave her that look. It made sense that some people would be shy when meeting someone new. She just continued standing there, looking around until Kedrick caught her attention. Her cheeks warmed and she smiled politely. "Thank you, Raine."

Kedrick smiled and the looked back down at Raine. "Well Raine, Where are the others?" He asked and the young girl turned her face up towards him. "They're in the living room." She replied and Kedrick straightened up. "Well then, We've got a lot of new people to introduce Arielle to, we'd better get started." He glanced over at Arielle, reaching over and taking her hand in his with a small smile, his cheeks warming slightly. He gave her fingers a reassuring squeeze and led her into the living room, Raine by his other side.

The first person they met when they walked into the living room was Sakimi. She arched an eyebrow at the sight of Kedrick and Arielle's interlocked fingers, but Kedrick looked back evenly at her, determined not to go red at anything she might say. He couldn't help but feel that he and Arielle's relationship had gotten stronger since last night and he decided it was time to show it. Sakimi placed a hand gracfully on her hip, eyebrow still raised. "Riiiiiighttt....." She said simply, turning away from them. Kedrick let his hand slip from her's and approached his sister. "What does that mean 'right...'"? He asked, smirking slightly and poking her in the middle of her back. Sakimi suddenly wheeled on him so fast that Kedrick was started. "Where were you last night?" She hissed in his ear, a dangerous tone in her voice. Kedrick blinked in surprise. "What?" He asked softly. "Athena. You where supposed to see her last night." Kedrick shifted slightly. "Something came up. Later okay Sakimi? We're here now, I just want to introduce Arielle to the rest of the family." Sakimi nodded coolly and stepped back, their whispered conversation had taken less than a few seconds. Sakimi turned back, her long black hair whipping around behind her "Everyone in here. Line up. Age order." She said, barking the orders like a drill Sargent.

In a second, girls from that room and others flooded in, and soon stood in an orderly line. Kedrick turned to Arielle smiling at her. "Okay, let's see if you can remember all these names." He said with a grin. He walked to the end of the line. "You already know Sakimi." He said gesturing to his tall, elegant and dark sister. He stepped down the line, there seemed to be quite an age gap between Sakimi and the next girl in line. It made sense, allowing for Kedrick and Athena. Despite the age gap, she didn't seem to different from her older sister. She had dyed black hair, and dark attire, heavy make-up around her eyes and a menagerie of mismatched accessories. "This is Keira, she's fourteen." Keira looked up at her in stony silence. Kedrick looked at her firmly and Sakimi nudged her. Arielle earned only a brief nod from the girl. The next girl also seemed to be around fourteen, and couldn't be more different. She had long, dusty blond hair that was pulled back into a braid. "This is Gwen, she's Keira's twin, also fourteen." She smiled slightly but didn't strike Arielle as near so shy as Raine. "Hello." She said, raising a hand uncertainly. Kedrick nodded apraisingly to her and turned to a girl, slight, and short in stature with dark blond hair cut so short she might have been a boy. "Kyla, eleven." Kedrick introduced. Kyla looked up, smiling confidently at Arielle. "Morning, it's a pleasure to meet you, you must be Kedrick's girl friend, you know, I've been telling hims for years he ought to just settle down with a good girl." She said reaching forward and pumping Arielle's hand vigorously. She studied her for a second. "You seem okay." She said before Kedrick freed Arielle's hands from his younger sister with an apologetic smile. He ruffled Raine's hair as the passed her and on to the last and youngest in the line who looked up at Arielle with mild curiosity. She had long blone hair a few freckles, and big eyes. "And this, last but not least, is Terra, my youngest sister, currently at eight years old."

((The monsterness!!!! AHHHHH!! there you have it, you now know all of Kedrick's siblings. XD))

So the rest of his sisters are in the living room, Arielle thought with a small smile. Her smile grew a little, as well as the warmth in her cheeks, as she held onto Kedrick's hand. She took a deep breath, mentally calming herself and preparing herself for meeting all of Kedrick's other sisters.

She was surprised somewhat to see Sakimi there, but then again it was her home. For all she knew, she wondered if Sakimi was surprised in seeing Arielle again so soon. Her anxiety was slowly starting to grow back when she saw the look that she was giving them both. Was it because of the fact that they were openly holding hands compared to the other day when showing such affection seemed somewhat embarrassing? She watched as Kedrick walked over to his older sister and wished he knew what they were talking out. What she could tell, from facial expressions, was that Sakimi didn't look that happy, but maybe it was just her.

Soon, in just a few seconds, a bunch of other girls were lined up after Sakimi's barked order. Arielle just looked at them all, a shy smile on her face and trying to keep her anxiety feeling away. Let's only hope, Arielle thought with a bit of a brighter smile. As each sister was introduced to her, she managed to say polite "hellos" and "pleasure to meet yous". When they got to Kyla, Arielle couldn't help but blush at her comment but could only giggle as well.

Once she reached the last sister, she made sure to keep repeating all their names and placing them with the right face. "It's nice to meet you all," Arielle managed to say, once feeling more confident.

Kedrick smiled over at her, once again noticing how radiant she looked when she smiled. "You think you've got all that?" He asked, touching her shoulder gently. "Of course she's got it!" Kyla said stepping out of line and walking over to stand in front of them, looking up though her bangs. "She doesn't seem like the kind of girl who would forget anything. You got a smart one Kedrick." She said, lightly poking her older brother in the stomach. "I'm impressed." Kedrick smirked dryly down at her. "Right you are Kyla." He said, looking back over at Arielle and once again lightly brushing her cheek with the back of his hand. "You admit it then!" Kyla said, her voice rising slightly. "She is your girlfriend isn't she?" Sakimi looked over sharply, and though she would never admit it, was dying to hear Kedrick's answer. Kedrick looked over at Arielle, as though for confirmation, But the smiled looked back down at Kyla. "Yeah, yeah she is." He said with a smile. Sakimi snorted softly, but Kedrick swore he saw a hint of a smile on her lips.

"Yeah, I've got it all," Arielle responded just a few seconds before Kayla exclaimed that she had it. She giggled lightly and listened to the rest of what Kayla said. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but somehow Kayla reminded Arielle of her best friend, Maria. She was brought back to the real world when she felt Kedrick lightly brush her cheek, making her cheeks warm slightly and her stomach do somersaults. She smiled, shyly when she was introduced as his girlfriend. Part of her could hardly believe that they had finally reached that point in their relationship, but every other part of her felt really proud to be known as Kedrick's girlfriend.

Sakimi walked over to the two of them in that same undeniably elegant and classy manner. "So, the truth comes out." She said with a slight smirk. She surveyed the two of them with the skepticism of a professional critique, except this time, she looked at them as an item rather than two separate people. She cocked her head slightly to the side, her long dark hair, sliding off her shoulder in a smooth curtain. Finally, after an agonizing few moments, a small smile, not a smirk, but a soft smile touched the corners of her lips. "You'll be good for each other." She said, her voice surprisingly gentle, and Arielle was reminded again that there seemed much more to Sakimi than she let show. "You keep him in order 'kay Chika?" She asked. Quite suddenly, Sakimi resumed her brisk demeanor. "Alright." She barked turning to the rest of the girls. "This place looks like a pig-sty, at least clean off the couches so we have somewhere to sit." Kedrick's remaining sisters scattered from their line, besetting the messy living room like a pack of wild animals. Despite the seeming chaos the living room was clean in a matter of seconds, as though it had magically cleaned itself. "Well, they're efficient." Kedrick commented, looking around at the suddenly spotless room. " C'mon, Sit down." Sakimi said, dropping onto one of the now available seats.

Arielle felt Sakimi's watchful eyes on them again. She could just tell she was surveying them. Did she approve of them together? Before anymore worrying and slightly pointless questions entered her mind. Sakimi smiled at them and Arielle knew that all was right. She nodded, a bright smile appearing on her face yet again, "Don't worry. I'll make sure to do just that, Sakimi."

Arielle just stared in somewhat surprised manner as Kedrick's younger sisters cleaned up the living room as quickly as she had seen anyone do so. She nodded to Kedrick's comment and let her eyes scan for where she wanted to sit. "Where do you want to sit, Kedrick?"
