Regina was skeptical of this new teacher supposedly. He seemed more like grungey boyfriend material to her. Not that she was looking but it was the first thought that struck her.
"Gods I have to be in some kinda medical induced mood..." she muttered so that only Penny could hear.
"What do you mean?" Penny asked with a frown, watching this man driving them hopefully home.
"I'm thinking about him as boyfriend material. Not teacher." Regina answered, frowning a bit to herself. "I never think like this. Boys, men, whateve are the last thing in my mind..."

Cloudkicker Inuki_Star OOC: Whine as much as you want Cloud. wink I had fun doing some random destruction. I thought you could understand me since you keep blowing up stuff. blaugh Of course I do...the only problem is that Pyro might get blamed for something he didn't do. And you did it whithout inviting me in on the fun. OOC: Aha. Sorry Cloud but you weren't around when I did this and I try to give you an opening for it. wink But I got bored and I wanted my Wanda to do something.

OOC: Ugh. . . I just finished catching up. But I'm still not positive whats going on at the mansion. I'll try to post tommorow. And thanks Penance and Ginko (I think you did) for keeping Jamie in some of the action. Oh, and if anyone could tell me a bit about whats happening it would be apreciated. Sorry about the spelling.

((*Alright... I'm sorta confused with the multiple personalities in each post, but I think I can follow along... ^^;; I'm a new person, so how would I go about coming up on the school? Just act like I found it by walking forever on a road and trudged through the gates? I'm not going to be staying at the school at first... I'm still in the median right now... I just need a little shove on where to start... ^^;;*))

ooc: welcome to the insanity Kylinari! we're going to try and have people start posting multiple people with multiple colors, but that's still being worked on. anyways, you can have her enter however you want. just wander by, go to investigate where her parents have sent her, or whatever you like.
jamie: um... i'll pm you. XD so much easier.
I'll be graduating this weekend so I'll be here very very little if at all. Penny knows regina very well so far so she can play her if need be. I'll try to swing by at least once a day though just cuz i'm addicted lol.

A thin figure walked up to the gates of the school and peered in with unsatisfied eyes of azure blue. She stared upon it a moment before squeezing her slim figure through the bars and walking towards the front steps. Her clothes were dark and hung loosely over her seemingly skin and bones figure, making her appear as if she was in some dark alleyway gang in her boots, ragged jeans and baggy T-shirt. Her eyes remained lowered and always seemed to be covered by her thick and shaggy, but surprisingly kempt black hair that fell to her shoulders. She pulled a pocketed hand up to knock at the door. Biker gloves adorned them with numorous holes and cuts about the top of her hand, though her flesh seemed flawless in it's Alabaster tone. She knocked soundly upon the large door, making sure it was to be heard.

OOC: Actually, what I thought they were like, Moren was more like a wieldable Power Gauntlet from Warhammer 40k.
IC: A horde of troops descended at the 3rd floor elevator door. They were waiting for the target to emerge, but there was nothing. No sound, no sign of him anywhere. Some were nervous, and some were restless. Suddenly, there was the sheering sound of metal on metal and the troops jumped, but didn't fire. They were better than that. Out of the blue, the door seemed to bubble and blister outwards, raising the eyebrow of at least one of the guards. Almost in a trance, he reached out to touch it, but when he was only a centimeter away from it, the door exploded, raining slivers and shards of steel into the squad of guards. Out of the smoke, Scion swung himself over onto the floor, and looked at his work. Brilliance, that it was with the groans of agony from the ones who were bleeding to death. Many had recieved shards in their hearts or throats, but some were lucky enough to actually still be standing. Scion approached one with a reserved calm for one who had just killed so many.
"Where's the design plans?," Scion asked, letting his aura slip a bit. It seemed though that with his new toys, he didn't need to syphon as much energy as he had previously.
"....I...I don't know...what you're....," the guard stammered, then winced in pain. Scion took it upon himself to gouge one finger into the man's shoulder.
"Yes you do. Where are they?"
".........There's a room. It's locked up, but it's on the East side of this building."
"Thank you," Scion replied while grasping the guard's throat and flicking his wrist. The man's throat was sliced wide open and he bled out before he even hit the ground.
The young mutant walked down the corridor with purpose. When he got to the edge of the hall, he stopped and peered down, noticing that there were no other guards. Then he heard yet another alarm announcement.
"We have a Level 1 Containment Breech. All available personnel report to sub-basement 2. Repeat, we have a Level 1 Containment Breech."
Wonder what that's about?," Scion thought as he walked right about fifty yards. Surprisingly, he was already on the East side of the building, and the room he was looking for was right infront of his face.
When he walked in the door, there were two scientists hammering away, despite the general alarms blaring. When they looked up, they were visibly frightened, which made Scion very opportunistic.
"If you give me what I'm looking for, I will not kill you," Scion said as he approached the doctor's. "I want your design plans. Now."
"Give them to him, Bill....," one scientist said as the other hesitated for a second before turning around to his computer, punching at a few keys, and after a few moments, turning back to hand Scion a small mini-disc with what he was after.
"Thank you, gentlemen. For your effortless and pain free handling of this situation, I won't kill you," Scion said as he backed out of the room, while closing the door. When he headed back down the hall, Scion looked at the disc for a second before finding a small flap on the hip of his uniform, and sliding the disc safely away. Again turning back down the previous hallway, he headed towards the elevator shaft. Then, his communicator fired up.
"'Ey. Mon Ami. You know those mutants I heard they were holdin?"
"Yea, what about them?," Scion asked.
"Just stumbled across 'em while duckin some guards that went scamperin' behind me. Somethin's got them spooked," Gambit said in a whisper. "And the mutants are dead. A morgue bigger than the bayou."
"Hurry and get your Cajun a** up here. I've got what we're after."
"Roger dat, mon ami, be there in a...."
The line went dead. Scion blinked once. Then twice. "What the ********?," he said as he got a rather pissy look on his face. Now he was going to have to find LeBeau. Not that he was worried about whether or not his friend could take care of himself, he just needed to ease the burden, so to speak. Then, he jumped down the elevator shaft, letting his taloned fingers scrape loudly against the metal inside.

OOC: Kadiska, would it be proper to congratulate you? Have fun!! Congratulations to you Ginko on your graduation.
Penny glanced up at the driver with no particular mood. The tounge lashing was rightfully deserved, but she didn't really care. She listened to Regina and watched the driver to see if he made any notice of what Regina had said. She almost could smell the hormones that were suddenly seeping off of Regina, "Heh, well, that's a subject I'm no good at, Reg."
The last date she was on was a hopeless and boring thing. She was never really the actively outgoing type when it came to guys. Most of the time, she wrote them off with once glance as somebody who was never going to keep up with her. She had a crush on Scott Summers for about ten minutes until he opened his mouth and spoke.
"You never give it a chance," Regina jabbed her before remembering her back hurt and groaned slouching back.
Penny shrugged, "Uh, I gave Kurt a chance at your urging... even did the whole younger guy thing there... Who was that guy I went out on a date with? James something... was to afraid to even hold my hand."
She noticed something. At the mention of the word 'afraid,' Mr. Porter glanced up at the rear view mirror as it was an instinct. He quickly glanced away as soon as he saw somebody almost make eye contact.
Penny leaned up over the seat, "So Mr. P, what are you going to be teaching?"
He remained quiet for a second like he really wasn't used to people asking him questions or having any interest, "Literature."
"Really," Penny said somewhat surprised. Looks can be deceiving though so she decided to fish some more for Regina, "You seem like a cool guy. You been teaching long?"
"Five years," He said and checked his mirror again like he was watching for somebody following him. He was very nervous, "I taught for Bayville U's distance program."
"Cool," She glanced back out the window herself, "You expecting somebody to follow you?"
[OOC: Switch perspective]
Idiot. Give it away. You were trained better than this. Idiot. You were a soldier. You were a spy. Idiot. Now you're a nervous little man who would rather go live in the woods with your computer than be in this car with these girls. Girls. Hadn't been around girls in a long time.
What the hell are you thinking? They are students. Legal adults, but students. Great way to make an impression. Hello, Professor Xavier, you have hot students. Mind if I shack up with some of them because I haven't gotten any in awhile? Yea, that would go over smoothly. Idiot.
"Sorry," He said somewhat gruffly and really wished the girl would sit back. Her perfume was nice, though, "Old habits die hard. You should sit back and relax. I was told what was going on with you."
The girl got the hint pretty quickly and sat back, "Fair enough. So tell your humble students your deal? I like to know the people I'm around."
She was pretty blunt, has a lot of questions. She needs to learn tact and she needs to learn how to find out informaiton without opening her mouth, "Well, my life isn't an often book, Penance. From what I judge of you, you'll find what you need to know without me boring you with details."
He pulled into the garage at the Institute and opened the door for the girls.

Ashton ran as fast as he could from the rain, heading to the large manor which he hoped would hold some answers to his past...
It all started yesterday, Ashton had had another nightmare, this one of the laboratory and the flashing lights... He never could get used to that dream, some sense of dreariness always swept over him when he recalled the dream... As if he knew he didn't want to know the answers... But this dream was different... Ashton had heard something in it he hadn't heard before, something clear and crisp to his ears...."Xavior"... He took it as a sign and immediatly began investigating, word of mouth leading him to the large institution...
Ashton marveled at the large complex, brilliantly lite and somehow containing a serine atmosphere even though the heavy rain... Ashton gulped and entered the large gates, making his way up to the large door and knocking hastily... Whatever the answers where, for better or for worse, he knew that only one man could help him now... and that man was Xavior...

Kylin tapped her foot and continued to wait by the door. The urge to just barge in was was about to win, but her healing power was slowly inching outward, back to the way she came. Someone needing healing, maybe not physically, but by the soul. The were coming closer, this she could tell. She now fought herself in two directions. A part of her fought to keep her place at the door, should anyone really be answering her knocking... and the other part of her wanted to serve for the source of pain. Her arms crossed over her chest as she mumbled incoherently to herself with a snarl, leaning against a pillar and crossing her legs where she stood.

OOC: Sign up for Literature class one and all wink Okay, we have two at the door so I'll come up to you all.Kylinari knocked first so I'm going to assume she was there first.
IC:
Penny walked around front heading for her secret cigarette stash. Of course, that wasn't going to happen. A girl stood on the front stoop and was knocking on the door. Penny already heard somebody else coming through the gates. From the looks of him he had had a few rough years.
She walked up to the girl, abandonded her craving of a cigarette and put out her hand, "Hey, I'm Penny. What brings you to Xavier's?" Penny ushered her through the door but as soon as the latch clicked the knocking came again. She already knew it was the boy from the gates.
Opening the door, she held her arm out welcoming him in.
"This is the Xavier Institute... school for the... uh... gifted individual if you get what I mean. I'm Penny, resident mischief maker. How can I be of service?"
The pain in her back was gone. A pain in her a** was going to begin. The sounds of the Institute was not of something calm going on. She could hear hurds of footsteps and she could smell the snow that was packing in the cooridor towards Xavier's office. And the movement, nobody else would see it. <******** that s**t, somebody else can deal with fast boy. I'm too tired.
"Guys, something is going on back here that I have to take care of. You can come with me or I can take you to the nearest counselor," Penny nodded her head in the direction she was going and ran down to Xavier's office corridor. She pulled out a small com device hidden under her watch, "GOLD team, Get your asses down to Xavier's office. We've got a situation. Yes, Regina, that means you too."
