 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw's eyes blinked several times before he realized that the rabbit was dead, and that he wsa leaning against Thunderpaw. He tried to force himself to breathe at a normal pace, though his heart still raced, not from the battle, but from Thunderpaw being there for him. He felt his skin flush with heat and ears perk.
“Y-yeah...And I guess we're even now, eh? ...I have to admit, though, you should be made a warrior soon. Did you see yourself fight?! You were great!”
[The tom forced himself to balance on his wounded legs. A she-cat should never have to work to help him. It should always be him helping others, especially Thunderpaw. He flashed her a weary grin before looking towards the Clan leaders.]

(I read it, I'm a storyline helper. And Wavepelt had NO battle experience, just a show of moves, and even then he was being helped by Ravenpaw)
Troutail was now padding anxiously around the clearing but when he heard that Wavepelt was going on the journey he padded over to the cat. Then he heard him talking to nothing, as if it were his friend "Wavepelt you okay?" The cat turned to Trouttail, startled "congratulations on the journey, I might be going too".

Brightspirit and Riverfang [Brightspirit listened as the Clan leaders chose the cats who would be making the journey. For some reason, Brightspirit wanted to go too. She wanted to help the Clans. Prove to them her loyalty. She knew Riverfang wouldn't want to volenteer to go on the journey. Silly toms. She wanted to go. She wanted Silverstar to choose her]
[Riverfang padded towards Brightspirit and sat down beside her. While some part of him wanted to be chosen for the journey, most of him wanted to stay in camp, and protect his clanmates. Brightspirit had always been the fighter. Him? He was the one who tried to protect her. Didn't always work. He smiled and glanced over at her, seeing the love being reflected back in her eyes]

[Moonflower flicked her ears. She had heard Nightpaw say something. She walked over to her.] "What was that Nightpaw?" she asked. [The bleeding in her shoulder hadn't stopped yet, and a streak of blood had reached down to her paw. But she wasn't about to act as if she were an apprentice. This stings like fury! she thought. It feels as if my body has just been shredded! She leaned over and licked her shoulder again.]

[Moonflower watched them go. Is Treepaw supposed to be here? she thought. All she wanted right now was to curl up in her nest and fall asleep. She looked around to find somewhere to sleep. She walked over to a tree and stripped the moss off it. She picked it up in her mouth and padded over to a small bush and dropped the moss next to it. She curled up and fell asleep.]

[Brightspirit curled her tail around her small, calico paws. She was waiting for her leader to make some kind of announcement]
[Riverfang could sense his mate's impatientness. It was hard to miss. She was craning her neck to see Silverstar, neading her paws into the moss, sighing constantly]
"Brightspirit, calm down. You're gonna hurt your neck"
[He flicked her with his tail to let her know he was kidding]
"Go to sleep, Brightspirit. I can tell you're about to pass out"
[She shook her head]
"i have to stay awake. Just in case. You never know what could happen, Riverfang. We came here expecting a Gathering and ended up with a bunch of slaughtered and injured warriors. I'm not going to sleep. I'll groom myself, but no sleeping"
[Riverfang nodded]
"I'll watch over you anyways"

"Let's not pop out unless our assistance is needed." [she mewed.She saw her mentor sleeping, and knew she should probably be sleeping as well. She was very tired. She curled up on the ground and slept. Sleep quickly overcame her.]
