Sage glanced back over to Flicker. " That's what I was wondering. Your sheep we might could get away with. Arwa I'm not so sure. After all in our time with the war we have to fight I don't know that Arwa would be able to adjust. Our time isn't exactly as open to strangeness as this one. Not with the fear they live with. That's why we were taken and experimented on. To create warriors who could stop everyone from living in fear even if it meant we would die in the process."

(I have come up for a reason for the buterfly effect- remember the man that Delilah killed when she went full-form? Howabout he was destinied to be the one that would lengthened the war to it's intended 10 years - and with his death, the war was shortened and the consequence ultimately altered from its intended outcome. (This is totally forgetting about the omen of the snake and the birds). Now, this is similar to the 'fires of pompeii' doctor who episode, where the doctor and his assistant have to allow history to take its intended course. The group could try to fix the war so that the greeks win, or leave history to the newly created path it will take from there. Either way, it's a dilemna for our characters and will provide good stimulus for the rest of the roleplay, but it's not entirely my decision.)

(Sounds good to me as well. Flicker?)
Athena jumped back from Hermes. "They...have?" She murmured for a moment, taking in the words. "So the Greeks have lost, then." An dark look passed across her face, and Athena swore loudly. Ever since the judgement between her, Hera, and Aphrodite, she hadn't exactly been friendly towards the Trojans. "How? The Trojan Horse...you have seen the retreating battle, I hoped? What happened, Hermes?"
Jasmine stirred, hearing a few people talking and the light voice of Arwa. "Guys? You up?" Her eyes opened and she looked from her spot where she had been sleeping, before getting up and looking at the two. "'s everythin' alright?" She murmured sleepily, yawning.

Sage leaned back into the tent and smiled at her friend. " Just sending Arwa back to bed and talking about what might happen when and if we can go back. Sorry if we woke you."

Artemis shook her head. " The Greeks lost. Charming." She said dryly while leaning on her brother's shoulder. He was in a slightly better mood but no one else would go near him yet. It was one of the perks of being his twin sister. She could get away with things no one else would dare attempt with him.

Jasmine shook her head. "It's fine. I probably should've gotten up sooner or later anyway." Thinking a little, she said, "Arwa...oh, I hope Arwa can come with us as well. I know she's from this time and all, but..." Frowning, she sighed. "Well, we aren't going back at this moment, so I suppose we'll have to make that decision when we come to it."

Flicker frowned slightly, as they sat among themselves. "...Is that smoke I smell? You don't think they're making a sacrifice to one of the gods, do you?"
((I'm cool with it. I say we try and fix the Trojan War so it ends like it's supposed to. How do you guys wanna go about this? By the way, I think we're going to need people for parts like Oddyseus, Paris, etc.))

Markos also smelled the smoke and started to wake up. He looked around. "So you guys got enough stuff for the sacrifice...?" He asked, still drowsy.

Hermes speedily retold everything that he had seen, then, noticing the expression on their faces, he started again, slower. "The Trojans set the horse alight with the Greeks inside it." He then remembered, "Only a few of the Greek soldiers inside survived- I saw Odysseus there- he escaped- but he's got a broken arm- left I think- There was Kidemonas- he was not looking so good when I left- and a few others- the rest of them got killed- no massacred." Hermes then told of the destruction, using his arms to demonstrate the destruction of the Greek forces. "I didn't see all of the Greek Ships get destroyed- at least a good ten, maybe fifteen percent of the entire fleet got away."

Athena listened impatiently while Hermes told his story. "Not all of them are killed. Good. The Greek army would've been hopeless if Odysseus had died. Let's hope Poseidon takes mercy on the Greek ships as they retreat." So the Trojan Horse hadn't worked. That was fairly suprising, she had honestly thought that would be the key to the Greek's victory. -
Jasmine sniffed the air. "Smoke...?" She asked, inhaling. "Where's the fire?" The thought of a forest fire crossed her mind, and she took a worried glance towards the tent. "As long as it doesn't spread..."
