Count Bleck's eyes narrowed- the rather large bit of good in him that he thought he had already dealt with was going into overdrive.
He floated towards the pair, planting himself firmly between the two- this scene reminded him far too much of.. something.. else..
"I'm afraid I refuse to watch this despicable exchange.." he said, his usual mockingly polite voice now coated in a case of iron.

Blaze was partially shocked and partially getting that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. She knew there was good left in the Count. She just didn't know there was this much.

The shock of what he had just done came to him, he stepped back, folding his non-existent arms. "not that I particularly care of your fate.." he said, trying to convince himself along with everyone else.

The Count smirked for the umpteenth time that day, his entire being emanating smugness. "bleheh.. I have here.. the dark prognosis.. it tells the future.. bleheh.." he paused for a moment, hoping that Blaze would at least be able to follow his explanation that far. "it also tells trivial facts of the past.. but not for very long, you see.. the prognosis frequently changes.. for instance, it wouldn't be worth very much if it still foretold how the world was going to be ruled by an extinct species, correct..?"
"well.." he continued. "even if this prognosis did tell the stories of people at the age of birth.. I'm afraid it wouldn't say a single word about someone as unimportant as yourself..." his smirk widened. "did you find the key word there..? I said that this prognosis wouldn't speak of your past.."
