Ari hesitantly sat up, and cautiously pulled out an ear plug. The noises had stopped, and she collapsed back onto her bed, relieved. "Mein Gott..."* she muttered in German. Yawning, she crawled the rest of the way into her large, comfy bed. She snuggled deep under the covers, burrowing down so the sheets formed a tent over her head. Content, her breathing slowed and evened out. In a matter of minutes, she was soundly asleep.
*(My God...)

Aphrodite sat on the edge of the lake, moodily throwing pebbles into the water. She was careful to avoid the faeries, however. The swarmed around her, playing with her hair, her clothing, earrings… anything. The murmured to her, and it was sweet and consoling. They knew she was sad, and they were trying to make it better. A few lay asleep in her lap, and she gently stroked them with a finger. Though most people thought she was a vain, useless, blond airhead, she really wasn’t. Sure, she could be vain, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t smart. She was kind, too.
The Spike between the girl and Ares had dropped significantly. She grimaced. Ares had gone slowly with her too… mostly because she hadn’t trusted him. He had gained her trust, and in the end, left and broke her heart. “I should get back…” she whispered, her voice as soft as velvet, “thank you for letting me sit here with you…” The faeries took to the air and squeaked so many things at once that it all became unintelligible. She smiled, and gave a soft laugh before retreating up the path.
As she neared the dorms, that powerful feeling of awareness Gods and Goddesses had to recognize each other returned. She wondered if he could feel her too? If he could, was he ignoring her? Probably was… especially if he was entertaining that girl.

((Omw, me too. But I think I'll end up asleep like that tonight lol.))
Ares smiled as Evermore fell asleep not a few minutes into the movie, after asking a question and even before hearing her answer. He brushed some hair out of her face fondly, though his eyebrows crinkled almost imperceptibly. He searched her calm, beautiful sleeping face, trying to find the answers to the unasked questions whose implications lingered, loitering with no apparent direction just yet.
He leaned down and gently brushed his lips upon her forehead, eyebrows still pinched, before watching the movie (she had called it... Pirates of the Mediterranean?). Even though it was one of the better movies these silly modern mortals had managed to create, he couldn't seem to focus on it. His thoughts kept drifting to a certain Fury, and he felt as if he had forgotten something, or someone, but he could not figure it out just yet.

Running faster then ever before, Akira felt like her body was very much on fire, but a sweet burning. Her feet urged the girl to run much much quicker and her arms ached, as if wanting some of the action. How odd...Nobody runs with their arms! But right now, the Dog Hanyou could care less if the it was weird or not, just loving every moment of the blazing sensations.
Lightheaded from lack of oxygen, Akira's worries, stress, fears, and anger towards a certain War God just washed away, left behind in the small poofs of dust her bear feet (shoes and socks got lost somewhere along the way) blew up when her feet connected with the ground...If anything, Akira was honestly and utterly at peace.
Kilala had transformed by now, to follow her master without having branches and tiny twigs slow her down. She noticed that Akira was glowing somewhat, as if her skin had somewhat of a shine too it, but did not feel alarmed. Was this because of the moon? Hmm....
Suddenly, Akira started to slow down, as she noticed she was getting closer to the lake, and wondered why a beautiful lady was there. Did she come here every night?

Aphrodite turned at the sound of paws hitting the earth. There before her was a dog/wolf/cat-thing (she couldn’t tell which(, and a girl. They both seemed to see her, for they stopped. She wondered why the girl was out of bed... with no shoes or socks. ”You there,” she said gently, ”why are you out of bed? It’s late, and you have classes tomorrow,” Aphrodite called softly in her exotic voice.

((thanks lol, i'm sorry, my post is missing words >< ))
Akira was catching her breath, but couldn't help feeling...Very weird. It was as if she'd suddenly realized where she was and awoken, but wanted to jump right back into that worriless trance or whatever it was...Well, that young lady's voice was very beautiful at least!
She shrugged, wondering if her voice would work, and whispered, "I'm...Not sure myself actually...I feel really weird...Like something dramatic and crazy is going to happen to my body like really soon, if that makes any sense..." Akira realized as the words left her mouth, staring at her glowing arms with wide blue eyes. She looked like a bloody firefly with the strong glow she was emitting!
What the...?
Kilala meowed in worry, but found the glow very pretty and alluring.

Aphrodite’s eyes widened in shock. How bizarre… was the girl glowing?! ”Erm,” she said uncertainly, ”do you need to see the nurse? Is there anything I can do to help you?” she asked, approaching her and placing a concerned hand upon her shoulder.

Akira looked at the breath taking young lady with panic shinning in her eyes.
"I-i don't know!! This never happened to me before! I d-don't think the nurse c-can help me..." she stuttered and curled up, hugging her knees close to her body, which was willing and making something to happen right at this moment, but what!?
"I-i'm sorry for f-freaking out..." she apologized, then asked softly, "Umm...Who are you anyways...If you don't mind me asking...?" chatting would be a good distraction until this passed, whatever it was.
Kilala sat down, her ears flat on her skull and her twin tails curled up on the ground. What was wrong with her master!? And who was this lady anyways? She had an incredibly strong aura...Another God maybe? Well, the school seemed to be full of them lately, the feline reasoned.

"I am Aph-," she said, but cut herself off. She wasn't 'Aphrodite' here... she was the councilor 'Miss. DiTe'. "-Aphira DiTe," she finished smoothly, covering her mistake easily. "I'm the new Guidance councilor for students and staff here at Bai Ching. Honey, we really should get you back to your room," she said, her voice rich and comforting. The girl seemed frightened, and Aphrodite pittied her. She could probably use her powers to nullify whatever was happening at the moment, but she was loathe to do anything until she was sure this girl would be harmed by whatever was happening to her. If worst came to worst, Aphrodite would put her into a trance, and work her magic. The girl would wake with only a fuzzy recollection of jumbled events.
But they weren’t there yet, so with a angry look back towards the dorms where Ares’ signal was coming from, the Goddess scooped the girl into her arms and began to march towards the rooms. ”Which one is yours?” she asked, her voice soft and sweet.

{{Ok, I'm going to go ahead and move it to the day so that the rest of us can post. I LOVED the scene going between Rrine and Heaven. If you two want to finish it, PLEASE do so! biggrin Just join the rest of us in-time when you want!! biggrin I've done this before in stories and it works really well!}}
At around 6:30 AM, Ever's alarm clock began to buzz to awake its master. Ever groaned and slapped her hand toward it, finally finding the off button and hitting it. She was still on her side and she stretched her body as she did every morning. But this time, she felt a pressure on her hip, one she hadn't felt before.
She turned her head over her shoulder and looked down to see that Ares was sleeping next to her. For just a moment, she was startled, but then the memories from the night before started to come back to her. She smiled. Ares had actually stayed with her. She was very impressed... and happy. But she still needed to be careful.
She leaned over and ran her hand through his soft and silky hair for a few moments before she kissed his cheek and then reluctantly got up from bed. She grabbed her uniform, underwear, and her brush and went into the bathroom. She had gotten all ready, clothes on, hair and teeth brushed, and then she looked in the mirror. First, her hair still looked frizzy from having soap dry in it. And now she saw those marks on her neck that Ares had left. Those she didn't mind so much. She even reached one of her hands up and ran her fingers over the purplish marks at the base of her neck and smiled. But she had to put a white turtleneck on now.
She quickly went back into her room, grabbed a turtleneck she usually wore for winter, not fall, and ran back into the bathroom. She took off her uniform top, but on the turtleneck, and then put the uniform top over it. Then, she decided that she should try something new with her hair. Ares obviously had a lot of powers, and while she was only a 2nd generation god and was not one of the 12 main Olympian gods, she had to have had more power than what she currently knew about.
She looked in the mirror and started to frown. Nothing was happening. So, her frown deepened. Still nothing. She even turned her frown into a glare and growled lowly at her reflection. Nada.
She sighed in frustration and relaxed for a moment. Then, she started to think about Ares' arrogance and his stupid horse Phobos, the one that chased her into the forest yesterday. And bingo! Her hair flashed to a deep and beautiful red. It even smoothed out and had a silky sheen to it again. It looked so pretty that Ever even decided to put some light make-up on this morning to compliment her hair.
When she was done, she quickly raced out of the bathroom, grabbed her school bag, and went to her door. She turned her head to give one last glance to Ares. She knew he probably wouldn't be here when she got back. He wouldn't risk getting caught and getting Ever in trouble. But she knew she'd see him again eventually.
With another smile on her face, she opened the door and went out into the hall. She looked down at her hair and was impressed that even after her smile, it was still red! Maybe that was because for once, she was consciously wanting it to stay. Maybe a Fury could keep her hair red if she wanted to.
Ever shrugged, smiled brightly again, and ran toward the cafeteria on the 1st floor to eat breakfast before it was time to meditate at 7:30.

Ari was waiting outside her door at 7 am. Her guide from yesterday hadn't shown. Great, she had to find the dining hall on her own. Muttering about inconsiderate dumb-asses, she slipped on her sunglasses and began to walk down the hall. It was good that it was still so quiet, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to tell where things were. As it was, she was nearly turned around.
"Mein Gott!" she muttered with ferocity. As she turned a corner, she heard footsteps. They were light, presumably female, and seemed to have purpose. This girl knew where she was going. "Excuse me," she called, "Could you tell me where the cafeteria is?"

Ever raised her eyebrow at the girl who addressed her. She seemed rather sharp... Well, it was early morning. Some people weren't morning people.
She also noticed that the girl wasn't looked directly at her. She wasn't looking directly at anyone. She must be blind. There were other blind students here, so it didn't surprise Ever at all. She simply held her hand out for the girl to take. She should be able to feel the air move around her as Ever moved her hand out toward her to take if she wanted to.
"I can lead you there, if you want. It's 2 flights down."
