Nemo jumped in his seat when Fyte suddenly plopped down beside him. His coffee had long since been drank, or else it would have been all over him. One finger still in his mouth from licking the last of the chocolate off, he looked at the letter she thrust into his hands. Stormy eyes scanned its contents quickly. The boy was silent for a minute or two, deciding on what he ought to do.
"Why? Why are they taking us all away? These people," he asked to no one in particular. His anger made his face flush and his hands clench in fists. Not daring to look at Fyte, lest she take back her offer, he shook his head.
"No, I have to know why. I'll go with you, though I don't know how much use I'll be." He couldn't just sit by when another student was likely suffering the same fate that was meant for him. But they didn't have his guardian. This made him smile uncomfortably. Ironic, his demon was actually his guardian. He just knew that Palian would get a kick out of it if he ever admitted that to him.
"Let's hurry then." "Then we'll just have to give you something new to dream about," he murmured as he let the scenery melt away. The area they now stood in looked like a stone beach, complete with calmly lapping waters and clear skies dotted with stars. "I wouldn't mind that in the least," he murmured back when she mentioned screaming for him. He wondered if he could get her to do it without actually having to frighten her. Just thinking about it made the demon shiver in anticipation. Oh what fun games he had in mind. Though she might not find them so fun. "That, my troublesome water bearer, is an interesting development," he chuckled in his rich timbered voice. "Remember when I said you could have me? Well, it looks like that's what has happened. You now get to keep this nightmare weaver for your very own." He thought about how best to explain the details, but thought the long story was. . . well just too long. So he shortened it to the condensed soup version. "I didn't kill you." Feeling the soft pressure of her lips on his skin, Palian was barely able to stop himself from gasping. "But I have a feeling that you don't really care about the details right now. So let's just save it for later," he said quickly, his mind quickly drifting away from what he had been planning on doing. She had this uncanny ability to scatter his thoughts. Couldn't really say he disliked it either. Losing his fingers in her auburn tresses, he lifted his chin to give her better access.

♡♥ Broken up, deep inside, but you won't get to see the tears I cry ♥♡ Alessa was in his face in a second, punching him right in the face. "Would you stop saying that?! He's NOT my boyfriend!!" She yelled at him, bringing her foot up to kick him square in the gut. Pivoting, she swung her other foot around to slam it into the side of his head. Retreating a couple of steps, she tilted her head, popping her neck with a small crack. "Like I'll willingly hand them over to the likes of you!! Who are you to wipe my memory? I'm the only one who can say what I forget!!" Alessa screamed at Jack, balling her hands into fists in anger.♥♡ I'm torn into pieces, but I don't cry on the outside anymore…♡♥

Jack takes the hits and quickly reverses time to the second before her first punch were to hit. Jack dodges the punch and punches her in the gut with his fire powers added which will not only damage her but will also burn her cloths off partially, trying to make her quit by either force or embarrassment. Jack may have reversed time but Alessa as she was the one affected by it still remembers the hits she did on him and Jack may still have the damage acts as though they were never afflicted onto him "He may not be your boyfriend but it seems like it as you two seem like a couple just by looks." These have been Jack's words which were probably his own since talking to Ace a while back or when he talks to Raine; another of Ace's captured friends.
((Raine is the one who stabbed Ace and Alessa, while Jack is the one who beat Ace in the back allyway while they were trying to subdue Palin))

♪ Looking up into the sky, looking for the reason Why I'm here and why you can't be here ♪ She nodded, taking one last huge gulp of her drink. Caffeine never did affect her much, so she wasn't jittery like how most people would be. Tossing her cup neatly into the nearby wastebasket, she grabbed his sleeve out of reflex. "C'mon. We'll get there faster if we go my way." Fyte said, leading him out of the building.
They made their way to the school gate, and there seemed to be no one around. "Okay. Coast's clear." Fyte said, turning around. Taking a deep breath, she spread her hands out in front of her, calling the wind to aid her. A gentle breeze rolled through the area, and began to swirl around her and Nemo. Within a minute, the two of them were hovering a few inches above the ground. Looking at Nemo, she tried to explain what she had just done.
"I've just created a little pocket of air around our feet to help us go faster as we run. It'll also boost how high you jump, if you want to go over the rooftops." she said, making sure her hair was tied up securely. Pulling out the note Tyrek had left her, she looked at the directions he had left her. Tucking it back into another hidden pocket within her clothes, she headed out of the gates and towards the base.♪ If you loose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side ♪

♡♥ Broken up, deep inside, but you won't get to see the tears I cry ♥♡ She cried out as Jack punched her, staggering backwards. Looking down, she blushed a bit as her midriff was exposed. "That's low!!" She yelled at him, refusing to bow out of the fight just because he would burn her clothes off. She placed a hand to her stomach, cringing as she felt her skin was burned mildly. Glaring at Jack, she produced four of her clones, effectively blocking the rest of the team from his sight. With a cry of frustration and anger, they charged at once, attacking Jack from all directions. One of them managed to jump on top of Jack while another swept his legs out from under him, effectively pinning him to the ground. The one on his back quickly hit him at the base of the nape of the neck; a move that would usually knock one out.♥♡ I'm torn into pieces, but I don't cry on the outside anymore…♡♥ [God, this relationship between Ace and Alessa is reminding me of Usui and Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid Sama! xD]]

Jack stops time and reverses it to the point where her clones formed as he holds his neck chocking and trying to stay conscious "Damn her...." Jack spits out as he stands back up and slashes the clones with his swords as they are stationary Jack struggling to stay up uses his powers to slowly heal his injury to the neck and restarts time when he is in front of the real Alessa only to hit her multiple times in the chest, face, and kick her in the legs, and side burning her and her cloths leaving the few pieces of clothing she has just dangling by small threads that are about to snap or burn off off as she is now on fire in the areas she was hit in.

Tsukiko continued moving her kisses up his neck, giggling as she did so. "I care about the fact the I own you now. Other then that your right I don't care." She was leaning up to whisper in his ear before biting his ear. Going back to his neck to began to nibble here and there, but was still careful. "Maybe I should make you work for a proper kiss like I did last time." She teased reaching up to kiss him on the cheek. She smiled before disappearing out of his arms. In a blink of the eye she was beside the water. "You wan catch me on land in your dreams, but can you catch me in water in mine." As she spoke she was backing up into the water. Up until now she hadn't noticed she was no longer in her wedding dress, but a short brown dress the matched her hair. "If you can catch I'll let you do what ever you want."
"Catch me if you can." By this point she was more then waste deep in the water. Turning around she dived under the water. Tsukiko hadn't been swimming in years. Even if was a dream she didn't want to be unfair and came up for air anyway. The water was cold compared to when she was being held. She had been blushing and her heartbeat was racing. Her mind was clear now. Coming up for air she looked around before diving back under the water.

♡♥ Broken up, deep inside, but you won't get to see the tears I cry ♥♡ Right before he appeared in front of her, she felt a huge surge of pain tear through her. He didn't even give her any time to block his attack as he landed his blows neatly. Crumpling to the floor, she rolled about, trying to extinguish the flames. Glaring up at him, she cast a simple illusion that she was wearing her dress again. Since it was her power, it wouldn't burn again if he set fire to it, but it would burn her. She gave a small groan of pain, laying on the floor for a minute. Alessa mustered all of her strength, pushing off of the floor to stand up again. Every single nerve in her body protested, but she tried to ignore it. The only way she was going to go down was if she was unconscious. Projecting another clone, she nodded to it. "You know what to do." Was all she said. Both of them ran full speed at Jack, the real Alessa tackling him to the ground. Knocking the sword out of his hand, she yelled to the others. "Lynne! Hold him down for just one second!" She created another five clones to help the first as she grabbed Sam and Tom from the rubble. The floor beneath both of them rose up to trap Jack's arms and legs while the clones scrambled back to where the rest of the team were. Pinning him down, she began to punch him, trying to distract Jack from what she was trying to do.
"Hurry, we need to get out of here!" One of her clones shouted at the team, running over to pick Ace up. With the help of another clone, she was able to carry him while Elliot carried Tyrek. "But what about-" "Trust her on this. As long as the rest of you get out of here, especially Ace and Tyrek," the clone motioned to the two unconscious time users. "She'll be alright. Besides, she'll get mad if we stay. Ayuka, navigate us out of here." The brunette nodded, and lead the rest of the group down the corridor and away from Jack and Alessa. "Be careful, captain." Ayuka whispered, running away from the fight.♥♡ I'm torn into pieces, but I don't cry on the outside anymore…♡♥

Jack falls to the floor and about to blast the group, but as he is the ground restricts him and taking the beating like he is not feeling it he uses time manipulation to destroy the ground holding him and destroys the clones due to a fireball as Alessa is sent into a nearby wall, Jack looking at the others start to run looks at the area and then thinking Alessa or anyone else here is no threat he gives chase as the front doors had all been locked and gaurds armed to the teeth are waiting for the group "You can't escape me." Jack says as appears in front of the group facing towards the way they were heading and sheaths his sword slowly. Lynne and Ayuka are instantly cut with the sword which if not treated could be fatal and Alessa's clone was cut directly in half making it disappear leaving an unconscious Tyrek and Ace on the ground at Jack's feet. "I have succeeded in my mission. The intruders are all taken care of except maybe one but she is no threat to me. Both Tyrek and Ace are in my custody and I need medical treatment as I have taken some injuries. It may not seem like it but all the damage had affected Jack and he would have been beaten if the same events had happened over again but with no help left Alessa is on her own against him.
((I think Fyte should burst through the door taking out the security with the blast and hurting Jack in the process, it wouldn't knock him out though. Also I have found a problem with Nemo. Since Palin is now out of him he no longer has a power hence he can no longer stay at the school as you need a power to be in so think of something guys.))

(silly boy. I had already thought way beyond that. Just watch and see.) Nemo lifted each foot experimentally as Fyte surrounded them with air. After taking a couple steps to adjust to its loftiness, he followed the air bender. It didn't take them long to find the string of buildings. The note left by Tyrek had lead them to this location, however he could see no defining feature to locate the exact place they needed to go. That is until they heard the yelling and the unmistakable sound of fighting.
It was around that time that they heard a bell go off. A building down the lane had a bell tower attached and the clock sounded off it's hourly chimes.
"It's one already?" he wondered. How had the time flown by so quickly? It felt like they had only just left the dorms for coffee and to the teacher's offices. "Must have taken longer to get here than I thought," he mused with a slight frown. Daylight had long since passed, and winter's early night made estimating time difficult.
As they had gotten there as fast as they could, Nemo had pushed himself beyond his normal limits. His determination alone kept him going as a familiar tightness in his chest signaled his pending asthma. Reaching into his pocket for his inhaler, Nemo paused when his hand felt nothing. He was sure he had left it in his. . . Nemo smacked his forehead with his palm, groaning. Of course it was in his pocket. In his other sweatshirt.
Another tightening of his trachea made his groan turn into a gasp. Trying to even his breathing, taking it slowly, he forced his throat to expand. It relaxed minimally. Looking back at the building where crashing sounds could be heard, he crouched low by a tree so he was out of sight.
"Go on. I can't do anything just yet," he panted. He wanted so much to help, but his body was protesting its weakness. Hating himself at the moment, he didn't want to be a burden when Fyte was still able to be of help to whoever was inside. "I'll follow in a minute," he added to reassure her.
His other reason to urge her on was that he did not want to worry her. Nemo suddenly felt nauseous and lightheaded. He knew it had nothing to do with his asthma and all to do with his power. Palian, he knew, was off causing some sort of trouble and it was effecting him. He felt this tug in his mind, like a cord was trying to yank his brain from his skull. Then a moment later, it slackened. When he tried to reign in his demon, calling him back to him, nothing happened. It was as if there was a counter cord that balanced his. Allowing his demon to stay away from his creator.
'How could this be? Why would he leave me?' he thought. A twinge of pain in his chest made him sob silently. Again, he had lost his brother again. He had killed the first. And now he drove his incarnation away. A wave of hopelessness steeled over the boy, though he schooled his face to betray none of his thoughts or feelings. Alone, he was alone again."I knew you'd like that," he countered with a purr. Then she went and nibbled his ear and the purr deepened into a growl. He nuzzled her hair, breathing in her scent. Strawberries. He decided that was what she smelled like, though he had no idea what strawberries actually smelled like. It sounded like it would fit her. Palian barely had time to register that she kissed his cheek before she slipped from his arms and appeared at the edge of the gentle waters. His eyes narrowed as he watched her toes be licked by the tiny waves. If anything he wanted to be the one to lick her toes, but knew that the waters meant no harm. They only wanted to play, as did she. The demon smiled. It would be rude of him not to oblige. "Tempting. Very tempting,"he chuckled as he stalked to the edge of the water. Icy stare locked on his target, he ran out into the water, his feet touching air just above the line as it rose and fell in ripples. He was almost upon her turned form when she dove beneath the surface. Coming to a complete stop, he shifted in all directions in search of her. She didn't mean for him to go in the water, did she? Seeing her bobbing head a few feet away, he tried to snatch her again but she sank beneath before he could touch her. "It's going to be like that then is it?" he growled playfully. Springing forth like a skilled diver, he sliced down into the depths. His clothes drifted away from him as the bubbles surrounded him, leaving his body bare with one minor alteration. With one quick flick, he shook off the bubbles and began the chase, his lower body that of a fish with deep blue scales. (wow, my posts have become increasingly long as of late. lol yay for my muse!!)

A sharp cry of pain escaped her lips as she was slammed into the nearby wall. Sagging to the floor, she weakly lifted her head to see Jack chasing the group. Not good… I've got to… stop… him… She could feel the sweet tug of unconsciousness beckon to her, but she tried to shake it off. It took all of her remaining strength to get back up to her feet and almost crawl along the wall to follow him. Her body screamed in pain, protesting her actions, but her stubbornness and protective side wouldn't let her stop. Rounding the corner, she saw Jack standing over the two boys, the rest of her squad lying on the floor unconscious or heavily wounded. Stumbling over, she tried to throw a punch at Jack, only to stagger and fall right next to Ace. "I… won't… let you… take them." She managed to croak out, giving a tired glare at her enemy before pain and unconsciousness took full hold of her. As she fainted, her illusion of her dress disappeared. The damage she'd suffered was evident all over her body; second degree burns covered her cheeks, arms, chest, with a few third degree burns on her stomach. A dark spot was forming on her back, which would later turn into a nasty bruise. The ends of her hair were singed a bit, but not too much. It would take weeks for her to recover from her injuries, if she would be able to get out of there.

Landing in front of the building, she looked up at it. "I guess this is the place… would've never thought…" she spoke mostly to herself, brushing a loose strand of hair out of her face. The sound of Nemo's gasp cause her to pivot, and she saw his slumped form nearby. "Nemo? Nemo? Are you alright?" She asked worriedly, kneeling down by him. At his response, her eyes flickered with uncertainty. Who to help, her fellow classmates and teacher, or the boy she'd grown to care for in the small span of time she'd spent with him? After a few seconds of hesitation, she gave in. "Pinky promise me." she said seriously, extending her pinky for the customary shake. She hated the thought of leaving him alone when he seemed to be in distress, but… the feeling that something just went horribly wrong strengthened. In the spur of the moment, she gave him a quick hug before running off. I'm sorry Nemo, but I feel like I'm going to regret not going to Professor Ashton's side now. she thought to herself as she dashed to the building.
Reaching the door, she kicked it down with the added help of her wind powers. Bursting in, she created a wind to propel her through the many corridors; to the passerby, it seemed like she was skating on air. Using the sounds of fighting and the faint scent of cement dust, she guided herself to the right hallway, knocking out any guards she came across. At the end of the hall, she saw a group of people, armed and huddled together. Noticing they were all wearing the same uniform, she didn't hesitate to throw a gigantic pressurized ball of air at them. As it tore through the road block , she saw one lone boy standing over a smaller group of kids. She didn't bother to stop her previous attack, since it appeared that he was the enemy. Though she didn't know the majority of the people on the ground, she instantly recognized two of the heads.
"Ace!! Professor Ashton!!" She cried out, running closer to them. When she did so, however, she sensed a strong, dangerous feeling. Skidding to a halt, Fyte looked at the boy. "You did this to them, didn't you?" she growled, resisting the urge to make sure they were alright. "Well, then, you're going to pay!!" With a cry, she whipped out her hand, and the sound of sliced air could be heard. Jack's sword seemed to fly through the air, landing with a clatter somewhere far behind Fyte. She had created an air whip which couldn't be easily seen. It was an extension of her arms, so though it seemed like she was flailing her arms madly, she was, in fact, using the air whips to the extent of her skill. Bending the air whips to wrap around his midsection, she threw Jack back, away from all of the fallen. Leaping over them, she stood defiantly between him and his target.

Tsukiko was making a sharp turn in the water when she saw Palian had transformed. "That's not fair Palian." She stopped in the water crossing her arms a pout firm on her face. "It not fair I don't know how to do that." Swimming over toward him she wrapped her arms around him. "How am I suppose to tease you if you have the upper hand." Tsukiko nuzzled her head against his neck. "Well I didn't want to play to long anyway, its more fun to scatter your thoughts." She giggle before biting his neck, letting go she placed a small kiss on the wound. Slipping away again she began to swim toward the surface. "You can't catch me," she chanted sticking her tongue out at him. Reaching the surface she began to swim back to the shore. Every once in a while she would look back just in case.
Reaching the shore she sat down on the rocks trying to catch her breathe. She could feel the wind blowing and noticed her dress was soaked and clung to her skin. Laying back on the rocks the just listened and waited. She was looking up at the stars and listening to the waves crash. She was sitting a few feet from where the water came up. After all the best place to find from anything with a fin was no where near water. While she waited she began to hum her lullaby again. She knew the truth to the story behind the song, but compared to how she sang it earlier it sounded a lot happier.

Jack looks at Fyte as he wonders where all these people were coming from and why he had to deal with them. "You can't beat me either....wind is such an easy force to control, I have beaten the girlfriend, the time controlling teacher, the picture one, the light caster, the others who have opposed me. What makes you think you can appose me?" Jack asks as he freezes time and punches Fyte in the gut with a flame as he did to Alessa

"Even though it's an easy force to control, that doesn't mean it's easy to beat!" Fyte cried out, blowing out the flames that threatened to burn her clothes away. Though she didn't quite know who he was talking about when he referenced them by title, the fact that he had defeated her comrades still irked her. "I can extinguish your flames with my wind!" Pivoting, she thrust her hand out, creating a gale of wind that would send Jack flying back even further. Following his body, Fyte created a ball of air as she ran. "Just what do you want with them, anyway? You have no right to going around, kidnapping whomever you choose!"
