While she was waking, he studied her. She was so beautiful, and like a coward he had stayed there at the practice while she raced off to fight. He needed to take some time off, just to spend with Kasumi and Zelos. He doubted Ms. LeFaye would want to be treated by him, and if it seemed that Ms. Pale was fairing well...

"Mr. Aes Sidhe"

Broken from that train of thought, he turned to see Mr. Rivven sitting in the corner. The smell of blood was everywhere for Aes, it had overpowered the older wounds that Mr. Rivven suffered. But upon seeing those injuries he took one of the salves he had used for Mr. Kimache and came closer to him. "Speak with me? Do you not mean treated by me?"

((I don't mind in this case. People just seem to do that a lot when you're away, and they don't seem to realize that it is puppeting.))

"I've managed to heal this much already. If you could just allow me some fresh bandages and something to prevent infection I believe I should be fine, within a few days at least. Maybe more, but things are going swiftly so far, and I see little reason where that might change..."

Rivven shifted, and tied off the bandages, pulling his shirt back on. "I'm not going to ask how you knew... you are the doctor, and I don't understand ki all too well quite yet... but... Morgan has lost a lot of her memory, seems like anything that happened while she was under the curse's effect. Even so, she says she is not comfortable with you treating her, though she doesn't seem to know why. You see... I do not know that much about child birth, or the pregnancy, but... you must understand, I worry for her. I wanted to ask if you could point me somewhere where I could find another doctor to help her with the birth, or someplace... where I could learn more and try to help her through it myself." He frowned at the floor, wringing his hands without seeming to notice. "That, and, well... I'm sure I don't need to ask this, but I believe she is not ready to announce it as of yet, and I'd appreciate it if you would... not tell anyone for her." he said, hands squeezing at each other tightly and giving Aes a somewhat pleading look. Morgan had been upset enough with this already, and he really wanted to avoid seeing her go through any more pain, especially because of him.

"Thank you, sir." Rivven turned the brochure over in his hands, giving the thing a final odd look before stuffing it in his pocket and giving Aes a weak smile. "Thank you. I'm very grateful... and... for whatever she did, before, on her own or of the curse... I... don't know much about it, and this really isn't my place... but I apologize... sir." he said, standing stiffly, and offering him a long bow before he turned to leave, stopping suddenly. "The... medical alchohol... I'd forgoten..." slightly pink from emberassment, lingering a moment to get that and leave.

Rias groaned softly and tried to stand but couldnt. She was simply too weak. Rias dropped her head back against the wall, thankful she was hidden in the shadows. She knew that no mercy would come her way for this. It was a part of the curse of her people. They could not care for none but their mate. Rias heard the conversation between Rivven and Aes but she dare not interfere. Anotehr child. Rias closed her eyes. It would take her a day to heal all the way if she got the root. If not...Rias shook her head, frowning. She could not think of that possibilty. Death was as foreign to her as love was. Rias breathed in deeply, fighting against the pain that traveled throughout her body. Her thoughts went out to Nari. 'Hurry Nari...' Rias's eyes began to close. She needed to rest.

The next day, Aes arose before everyone else, and stumbled over to the makeshift kitchen. They had some fruit, which he piled into a bowl, and a loaf of bread. Since most nights he was there working late he also had a rice cooker, but he felt he couldn't serve that up for breakfast and instead started to pass the food out as everyone awoke.

Pale woke to see Illiana sandwiched in between the two of them, Jay faintly asleep, and then Ultima in a corner. It looked like Kasumi was out too. She called to Aes cheerfully and waved the food over to her. She was famished! "Wake up love" she whispered to Jay, and nudged her daughter softly.

"Well maybe it's better, it's still a little early for her, but I'm eager to get home. Even if it is just to sleep." she laughed and thanked aes for the food, choosing four apples and half the loaf of bread.
