Shifting to her human form she simply folded her arms over her chest, her hip cocked to the side slightly and her expression serene. she had a focus now, and that determination was clear in her gaze as she studied Kirai. " No, little Strigoii.. he would never share such a thing about you.. at least, not to one such as myself." pauseing Riley turned her face away, eyes closeing thoughtfully as she continued. " I am aware of your delusions of humanity, but.. have you wondered what the truth is?" reaching into her pocket she pulled a vial from its depths, the liquid casting off rainbows where stray bits of light hit it. " how badly would you want to know.. i wonder."

Kirai's expression calmed, she then shook her head. "It's natural to wonder... However, unless it is of importance and would drastically effect life now as I currently live it, I can not see how it would matter." She chuckled, although it was not one of happiness or of comical value... "Seeing that you are the one saying this, I am sad to admit there must be some obvious importance here, gain or loss for either one of us, for you to approach me in such a manner... Pity, otherwise, I would think naught of it."

Leliana wondered through the forest, trying to find something to do to pass the time. She was tossing a throwing star up in the air and catching it, surprisingly every time on a flat side. She stopped by a fairly new tree and looked at how small it was compared to the rest. "Poor thing." She said softly as one of her small hands touched the bark.

Lloyd, a travailing warrior, was flying just above the forest path on his wings of light when he spotted a young woman, by a sappling. Not wanting anyone to discover his magical abilities, he landed behind a large tree, disabled his wings, and approached the woman. "I wouldn't pity that sappling just yet. It is the first of a new generation of trees for this forest. Which has been suffering decay for sometime. This is a good sign."

She turned quickly and tossed a throwing star at him, just barely missing him and hitting the tree behind him. "That isn't why I pity the little thing, I pity it because its so small for its age. It may be a sapling, but a very old sapling." She looked Lloyd up and down before completely straitening up again. "Who are you?"

"Lloyd, a traveler of no consequence" Lloyd plucked the star out of the tree trunk. "And though that sappling is old, it is still very young compared to the forest itself. That tree will grow on its own time. "Who might you be?"

She smiled softly and looked at the tree. "Leliana, just a person trying to get through life." She looked back at him and held out her hand to him. "Can I have that back please?"

He smirked, "I don't know, you did try to kill me with it, and possession is nine tenths of the law." He flipped it a few times, with enough skill to mimic her talents from a few minutes ago. "Though I suppose that if you promise to not try and kill me, I could let you have it back."

"I'm sorry I tried to kill you, sneaking up on me isn't the best thing to do. I promise not to kill you." She moved her head to the side, almost a wolf like gesture when confused or listening to its owner.

"Alright then." he flipped the blade, so the handle was facing her. "Here you go." He extended his arm towards her. "So what's a wolf like you doing in a forest like this?"

"My actions tell you that fast hm?" She chuckled and took her star back, placing it in a pouch with many more like it. "I'm trying to find something to eat really. Most of my pack was killed an no one was strong enough to keep the rest together, so I'm alone."

"Hmm... Why didn't you join another pack then?" Lloyd sat at the base of a tree, and started rummaging through is pack, until he found a half loaf of bread, and a container of stew. "You can have this. I know it isn't much, nor what you are looking for. But you are welcome to it."

She looked at the food a moment before gently taking it from him and moving to a tree across from him. "No other pack would take me." She munched on the bread for a bit, dipping it in the stew every few moments. "Why are you out here?"

"This is the shortest path to where I am going." Lloyd said simply. He shoved his pack, behind him, and rested his head on it. "No point in making a trip any longer than it already has to be."

"Where are you going then? Not a lot is anywhere near here." She quietly ate and kept her eyes down, eating with a plastic spork she randomly got from a cute little girl who had a lot to give away.
