Kit regained her bearings and soon she was twitching her ears on constant alert.
I don't think they will, but if they track us here then there are two escape routes. One is a tunnel from the floor of the shelter and the other is a game trail in the bushes there.
She pointed to where the trail was hidden by thick brush.
It should be big enough for you to squeeze your bikes through.
She told Kai and Emily with a small smile.

Emily put her gun back into her coat and and hid the Honda on the trail. Walking back to Kit, she smiled a little, barely noticeable. "Thakns for the place to hang low.........Fuzzy". She walked by tussling Kit's hair as she passed.

Kai tilted his head as he watched Miss and grinned, "..so you trust her that quickly 'cause she's a cat like you?" he wondered aloud as he headed toward the building.

Kit blinked a few times before hurrying after the other two.
Hey hold on! I'm not a cat, I'm a fox.
She said and seemed to bounce around them.
And really it's no problem for you to stay here, it gets kinda lonely anyway. It's the perfect place to stay because it's cleverly disguised as just a nasty old shack but really it's actually very nice, I made sure to add as much furnishings as possible so it's not much but it's comfortable. Oh, my name is Kit!
She babbled as they entered the shelter. True to her word, it was quite basic with raggy curtains and a few threadbare rugs. There were also a few makeshift beds set up.

As they entered Emily looked at the decor. It was alright considering what circumstance they were in. Insted of retorting back at Kai, she decided to ignore him. She sat her bag in a corner of the shelter and plopped down next to it, her tail letting her know it hurt as she did it. "Well, it's going to get warm in here when the others show up", glancing at the close quarters. Emily pulled another energy bar from her pack and munched on it, savoring the caramel and chocolate taste.

Kit walked to a wall in the shelter and after a little bit of knocking and scratching, she found and popped open a small cubby hole filled with non perishable food.
There, if we need extra then we have it.
She said and removed a few of the items.

kiana saw the others arrive outside the hideout and jumped down from the tree she had been hiding in. she landed some ten feet behind the hidden entrance just as emily was going in. 'hey there.'

Kai tilted his head again and frowned slightly, Miss had ignored him which was no fun at all...but what could he do about it. He glanced over as Falcon rejoined them and nodded, but then just went over and sat on the edge of one of the makeshift beds and pulled off the heavy military bag. Kai sifted through the contents for a moment before pulling out his favorite long range pistol and starting to take it apart to clean it.

After Kit had set out the extra provisions, she sat against the wall and huffed a sigh. Her ears fell to the sides.

Kai didn't look away as he polished the barrel, "We let Katie rest for awhile with a 44% chance that whoever was after Em-Miss will pass us by and we could move freely... or there's a 56% chance they'll check this place out and will have to fight." He stated calmly as he started putting the gun back together.
Ryu was flying high enough to be mistaken for a bird and enjoying every moment of it, he had his mismatched dark gray and silver eyes shielded by dark sunglasses since he wasn't quite used to the sunlight...or cause bat's weren't used to light in general...he couldn't remember which and honestly didn't care.
Thanks to his sonar he'd 'seen' a bit of commotion not tooo far away..but far enough that he'd missed it by the time he got there and landed on the edge of a open windowsill. Ryu didn't need to use his sonar as he heard voices coming from the basement, two girls from different governments talking about plans..
He silently made his way down the steps and leaned his head against a water pipe, "Hey, now ladies...what naughty things are the two of you doing down here alone in the dark?"

kiana made a wry face. 'sounds good to me.' she laid katie on one of the rough beds and pulled a water bottle, a whetstone, and several knives out of various pockets

Kit frowned and hoped there wouldn't be a fight, but she went over her attacks and blocks anyway. Her method of fighting was a cross between street and Kung Fu. Peculiar, but effective.
So what happened to your friend Katie?

Emily shrugged, implying she didn't know what happened to Katie. Hearing Kai's little slip up with her name made her nervous. She walked up to him and wispered in his ear. "I need to talk to you outside". She walked out the door, her knifes in her sleeves ready to pop out.

Kai sighed lightly and stowed his gun back in the bag, following Miss/Emily outside, keeping a pleasant half smile on his face even though he figured she was going to chew his head off...with a slight possibility of that being literal.
((Aw, no response to Ryu? I was lookin forward to that.. ))

Katie groaned as she started to wake up. When she opened her eyes, she felt a slight panic, not being in a familiar place. When she sat up, she quickly felt dizzy and put her head down.
