Alcina glanced over at the couch a moment, then gently nodded. Right...just...try to relax a bit. That should help just a bit.
Quite carefully, she made her way towards it and gently sat down on one end of it. Proping herself up a bit by leaning her elbow on the armrest.

Without waiting around for any more awkward pauses, Strange retreated to his study.

Alcina sat quietly and still, staring almost blankly at the floor in front of her. After a moment, she made a quick test to see if her powers were back yet at all. Anything.
But she found nothing. At all. It would still be quite a while before she could do anything then apparently.
Carefully, she glanced over to make sure that Strange had left the room. Satisfied that she was alone, she leaned back in the chair and curled her legs up onto the couch in front of her. She needed to think of something else. She needed to occupy herself with something else. But all she could think of was...
Realizing that her vision was getting blurry again, she burried her face in her knees. This was ridiculous...but she was alone. She was brought up that it was wrong to be upset like this in front of others. It was both disgraceful and effected others. Plus she was supposed to be a Goddess. Something like this should be noth....something like this simply shouldn't happen.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. A few seconds after that, Wong emerged and answered it.
"Hi," said the younger Spider-man hurriedly, "Long story short: bad guys are crazy. I need to fight them. Some of them want to kill my girlfriend. Can I leave her here?"
Wong blinked. "Of course."
"Good." He paused, looking at MJ. "Alright..." He really, really wanted to kiss her. "Stay safe."

MJ turned towards Peter, clearly worried still. "I'll be fine." she replied, then paused a moment. "Be careful."

MJ paused a moment, still clearly feeling uneasy about the whole thing. "I won't go anywhere. Don't worry about me." she replied, trying to smile a bit.

Spider-man reached up to touch the side of her face. "Hey. It'll be okay." Uggghhhh... Stupid... Super... hero... ness.... He really, really wanted nothing more than to drop all of his hero-related obligations and snuggle his girlfriend until she stopped looking so... fragile. He hated it when she looked like that. It made him feel... helpless. He swallowed. "I'll be back," he added firmly. Before he could think about it further, he made himself turn around and swing off.

MJ stood there a moment and watched him go. Once he was out of sight enough, she slowly turned around to face Wong. Now she felt worried, and strangely akward.

Wong smiled kindly. "Come, young lady. You look as though you could use something to eat." Putting a hand on her shoulder, he gently shut the door.

MJ smiled a bit and followed him in. "Um, thanks." she replied. Alright. Everything was going to be alright. Peter would be fine. He had that...older version of himself. And there were other heros with him too, right? And she was in a completely safe place. Everything should be fine...
