Rhys nodded approval at Alihi's words. He wasn't sure he approved of taking advantage of their hesitation, but then again, they didn't know everything about the corruption. Plus, just because they couldn't KILL didn't mean they couldn't hurt.

Ephraim stood out the door, still listening in on their conversation. Least she's calm now, is what he thought. His mind somehow went back to the bruise on his cheek and he couldn't help but raise his right hand to cover it. Not that it bothered him all that much since he often got slapped by either his sister or Tana whenever he made a smart remark on the battlefield (Mainly toward them for having a random girl conversation in the first place) but damn did that elbow to the face hurt like hell.
Just remembering the scene sent chills up his spine already. Ephraim had no say in the plan, again. He had sense of strategy that he usually had, yet he also had to remind himself he's not a leader anymore. He listened once more on what they were saying and managed to catch their plan about not having to fight.

Ayra wanted so badly to throw her hand back from Arashe's frantic handshaking- it wasn't as if she was some kind of hero. Just one of the few to make it out of the proverbial hellhole alive. Out of respect for his bloodline, and for that only, did she not move her hand away. No matter how much it unnerved her and how many times she dismissively muttered how it was nice to meet him, she gave him a very tolerant smile and let him shake her hand until it felt like her shoulder was going to be removed from his socket.
"...Grandmother?" Furrowing her brow for a moment, she realized just how much she'd missed from the world she left behind- had two generations really passed? Had she missed the one and only opportunity to watch her son and daughter grow up? Shaking her head at being referred to as being his grandmother's age, Ayra gave him a small smile and pointed to the bow.
"She was a brilliant shot. Wonderful with that bow, though I admit it got frustrating when she shot down the opposition well before the rest of us could get to them." Looking a little sour at the last, she still shrugged nonchalantly and crossed her arms. "She never let us touch it, you know. A real brigand at heart, though still a nice woman. No one could argue like her."
She thought on his next inquiry for a minute- indeed, it made little to no sense. Here before her was standing a man who looked barely younger than she, and yet he claimed to be the grandchild of a former comrade. Did time run on a different speed between Jungdral and Eyris? Such a slow time ratio here in comparison to her old home was unnerving, at best.
"I've... I've no clue. But please." Looking to Ichival and suppressing a shudder, she met Arashe's eyes.
"Please, do not use the Ichival."

Chad relaxed and took his hand away from the hilt. The woman, this Ayra, seemed to of calmed now, but she still seemed rather angry, however it her anger was understandable. Chad listened to the idea of not even having to fight, he wasn't quite sure if it would work but it would be worth a try, and like someone had said, if nessercary they could take advantage of the hesitation.
He moved closer to Ayra, feeling the need to apologise. "Ayra? I'm sorry about my threatning actions towards you a few moments ago. I do not take kindly to violence in a home of mine, however I apologise again and hope you will grant me your forgiveness."

Deciding to leave the others to their own, Ephraim left the door-way and headed toward a washroom to clean the blood that was smeared on his face, mainly on the lower lip. Opening the door he immediatly turned on the faucet and soaked his hankerchief in cold water. He squeezed it till it was damp and dabbed it on his cheek only to hiss at the pain that he obviously didn't not seem to expect. Though the bruise didn't look like much, it burned.
The noble shrugged, cleaning off the dried blood. Once he was done, Ephraim stuffed the hankerchief in his pocket and opened the door. As soon as he stepped out, he heard a light 'pa-ching' and immediatly looked down toward his feet. On the floor was a locket that was opened, faced down and one he knew all too well, his mother as well as Eirika's locket. He knelt down and picked it up, observing it before he flipped it over and revealed on the left side, a picture of him and his twin when they were younger, and on the right was a family portrait.
He wondered why this was with him since he had left it in Eirika's care. Smiling, he figured his sister must have stuck it on him before he left without him knowing. Typical, it was always something she did. He sighed and gripped the locket.

Ed laughed as Amara made impact. Never had the chimera thought in her life that she'd be caught off guard by a small girl!
No, that's not right. My little brothers surprised me all the time.
She grinned widely at Amara and patted her head. "Sure I mean it, clear as day! You'll grow up to be a fine, fine woman." The girl was just an irresistible bundle of joy. It gave Ed some relief to have met this girl, even if it was an accident or just chance. "So what were you trying to read again?" she inquired, glancing over to the dictionary.

"I could try using a sleep staff on Tibarn." She then stood up. She started to consentrate. She let out a small roar as her wings sprouted out of her back. "Being a half dragon has it's advantages."

Aran winced at the headbutt Ayra gave to Nometal but then let out a sigh as she calmed down I don't know who's worse.. An angry Ayra, or an angry Shiva After that, Nometal looked like he could handle himself and continued eating his breakfast. He listened to the others strategies on taking down the Hawk king.

Well it looks like everyone is doing good here...yet man that did hurt. Should get ready to help myself...forget it. I'll live. Just worry about a plan. The others may not even need me, or I can distract others. Whispering silently, Nometal said, "I may be able to help..."

"How much resistance does Tibarn have to magic?" Amelia questioned. She thought of the others for a moment -- Rei, Nils, Abel -- and her free hand tightened into a fist, fingernails digging into the flesh of her palm. What about them? Were they going to make such an elaborate plan to help them? Ayra and Vah needed back their husband and father, yes, but did that make the others so much less in the eyes of their friends?
She was silent for a moment before finally opening her mouth. Her eyes were blazing, untaken hand still fisted tightly. "What about the others. What about them?" she paused, trying to recollect her thoughts and express them more effectively. If she was going to speak, it had better be important and get to the point.
"I realize we have to get Tibarn back. He's a warrior, he's fast and strong and hardy and he could likely take half of us out before falling. But does that mean we don't plan for the others? Tibarn isn't the only one who was darkened by that Asami woman." Amelia looked down, thinking of Rei; the incident in the basement, then his shift, the fight outside the manor. Amelia closed her eyes, then looked back up to the others. "We have to prepare ourselves to save Nils, and Abel, and Rei. I mean no disrespect to Ayra, but just because they aren't someone's husband doesn't mean they don't matter."
Her fist was shaking a little, and she loosened the tight curl of her fingers. Her nails had dug little crescent marks into her skin, white lines surrounded by angry red on her light-skinned hand. "We can't not plan for them. I can't... I can't just ignore them because any threat they might pose isn't as great. I can't."
Rei... I'm going to get you back to normal, no matter what. You're in there somewhere. I know it. If you weren't, then you would have killed me. Amelia shut her eyes just for a moment; now wasn't the time to get overly emotional. The moment passed, and she opened her eyes again, waiting for some sort of response. Whatever it takes, Rei. I swear.

Rhys shook his head. "Honestly, I don't think all of us should fight Tibarn together. I know it sounds crazy, but if they'll react to the ones they hold most dear... the only one who could persuade Tibarn back of his own free will is Ayra. Amelia, Rei stopped when fighting you, so maybe you can convince him. Ninian is Nils' long-time sister, so that's a no-brainer. And Abel, well... correct me if I'm wrong, Alihi, but you seem like the right woman for the job of bringing him back."
Meanwhile, Charice the Pegasus Knight kept silent, feeling more alive again in between breakfast and these people. What better way to come back to life than watch a dangerous situation develop, then defuse? So there are four of them? Nils, Rei, Abel, and Tibarn? Wow. Wait... "Oh! I forgot to mention!" She looked about. "My name is Charice, a Pegasus Knight in the Constabulary. The rest of us are actually just outside. We're here to help, if we can!"
Outside, Ghis wasn't sure exactly why, but he let out a "How did I get dragged into this" groan as he slowly woke up.

Alihi smiled lightly and nodded. "Yes, I believe I am, Rhys." The only issue is if I actually can... She thought worriedly.
Amara smiled just as warmly as before as she looked up at Ed. "Oh! I was looking for a word that I heard my mommy and uncle say before... 'Gone'." Her face fell.
"They said my daddy was 'gone', and wouldn't say more. And whenever I asked... they look so sad."

"Yeah, we need to get Rei, Abel, and Nils back to normal as well. And what if Asami corrupted anyone else in the city? We gotta take care of them as well." He said as he continued to munch on his breakfast that was nearly completed.

"It shouldn't be hard...those who love the ones that got corrupted...should do the job." Moving slightly, then Nometal said again, "Yeah basially what Rhys is getting at...oww my head hurts. I'll be fine. If you are going to move out, I'll try my best to not be a nuisance and go with you all. I still want to help as best as I can, and I can at least lend my skills with my blade."

Ed looked just a bit alarmed at that. But hearing what Amara said about sad looks, she immediately tried to look only slightly surprised to hear about her father being 'gone'. Ed didn't know much of relationships and certainly almost nothing of current relationships. So she couldn't think much about Alihi and Abel, and consider the fact that Alihi was with someone else before; she was more concerned that the girl didn't have a father.
Ed wouldn't know what to do without her own father.
"Oh, I had a feeling you were looking for that," said Ed with a bob of her head (rhyme unintended). "That's a little strange though. When people are 'gone', sometimes that just means they aren't around. Maybe he went on a trip." She smiled as kindly as she could while concealing her thoughts.
A journey to the afterlife, that is.
