Tanis was the first to the wall. gus leg still burned but his blood was starting the burn with excitment. he looked out at the advancing bandits and a smile spread across his face but it was wipped away by the site of Gurin on the ground. man, that's not good he jumpped into the air with his bow in had, 3 others had joined him now and the 4 of them began sending arrows at the bandits that were advancing on Gurin. "Hyn!" Tanis yelled as the bandits were getting closer to Gurin but Hyn was already on his way. he was the fastest of the group and now was charging across the flat desert, a sword on his right hip and a dagger in each hand. he hit the first few bandits cutting through them without a problem. blocked a slash while at the same time throwing his other dagger to kill another enemy and twisting the dagger still in his hand to slid down his enemy's sword and cut through the hand and then the neck. he charged forward retreaving his other dagger as he went. he put away both daggers and grabbed Gurin. turning, he began to head back. the bandits had surrounded them now but from behind, the rest of the group, with Stern in the lead hit the bandits clearing a hole for Hyn to get throught. Stern lower his shoulder as he hit his first apponent and lifted him up on his axe. then he swoung forward, killing the man on his axe and bring it down on another man's head. he slightly sifted his body back to dodge an attack and charged with a barrage of his own killing all the enemies in his way.

Mathias shook his head. "Siobhan isn't bitter or causing destructive trouble. Just you remember how uncontrollable her powers were? Well it seems that Aura is able to wield the same lightning power. THe other night when that big storm rolled through the forest, Siobhan took over Aura's body. To the point were neither Engela nor I could sense her as Aura anymore. And it was also Siobhan's voice that compelled Aura to rush to this city and help your son. And again the power manifested itself when she and Einon were having a little duel. Rather than her usual shadow and currents, it was blinding white light. Then earlier tonight, before I set out to find Alexa, Aura and Engela sat down and talked and it was found that Siobhan was the one responsible for all of it. But I think, rather than try to get rid of Siobhan, Aura wants to be her friend. Aura just worries she'll lose control or something."

"Well...You four could come back with me. Unless..Alex and Naomi would like some alone time from the watchful eyes of parents." Mathias smiled at the two and winked at Alex. "Want me to take your folks away for a while?" While he asked them, Mathias sent a message to Engela. Would it be alright for Leon and Vix to come to our home? They'd like to visit.

Mathias laughed. Thinking about it for a couple seconds, Mathias nodded. "Uncle...I could live with that."

((OOC: Dang, SSD must be writing a novel. She's got Aura, Engela, and Vix to put in ONE post. Good thing Anniria logged off, or Alexa would be in on the post too. ))

((OOC: Yeah, tell me about it. Plus there's the fact that I'm trying to provide emotional and creative support to various friends at the same time.))

Vix laughed. "Just remember, Alex, stay safe," she said. Her grin was unmistakably wicked. "Well, Mathias, I'd love to go. Coming, Leon?" she asked.

Engela looked up as Mathias spoke to her. Yes, of course, she replied immediately. The brief meeting in the war had been enough to remind her that she missed the old days mostly for the sake of old comrades. She smiled at Aura. "We're going to have some visitors in a minute," she said softly. "Would you call Einon home?"

Aura nodded, feeling immeasurably relieved after having spilled the story. Hopping to her feet, she sent a thread out, searching for Einon. Once it found him, it ought to send him the message that Aura wove through it, that message being Mom wants you home.

((OOC: Well, to your various friends that need emotional and creative support: we lend hands to shake, arms to hug and shoulders to cry on and brains to be creative. Also, I don't know if it'd be in Aura's character, but I'd like to maybe have a little 'attraction' between her and Artemis. There's a little something in this post that could lead to that. Or maybe it's Siobhan that is attracted and makes Aura do something.))

Einon and Artemis had found a big open area in the forest. After showing off to each other for a little bit with various and more difficult feats of magic, they decided to have a duel. Midway through, it was clear that though they used entirely different forms of magic, they were fairly evenly matched. Einon relied more on his swordsmanship during the duel, since Artemis was mostly a mage. Throughout their fight, Artemis's shirt had been ripped to shreds. Einon had even scored a hit on Artemis's shoulder and a small cut was bleeding. Just as Einon was about to trap the mage, he felt the tug of his sister's thread and her voice in his head. It threw his focus off and Artemis trapped Einon in an ice-cage. "FOUL!! I was distracted by my sister!!" Artemis laughed. "So what? I beat you!" Einon snarled and tried to move, but the ice was so cold, he couldn't stop shivering. "Rematch, Waterboy!" "Anytime, Fangy!" Artemis dispelled the ice and they ran back up to the house. Out of breath, they came into the living room through the sliding glass door. "What's up mom?" Einon asked, still shivering a little. Artemis was standing without a shirt in the livingroom, panting a little from the run and the duel.

Mathias nodded to the two younger people in the room then wove his hand through the air, a shadow portal appearing. "Vix, Leon, guests first." The exit of the portal was just outside the front door of Mathias's home.
