Garret started to get ready for an assassination attempt. He gathered all the arrows, crystals and bombs he thought he would need. "I bet you I could get paid better somewhere else." he said to himself as he walked out of his den and into the city.

Hitoshi grabbed Katsuko's arm and started running.
"What are you doing? where are we going?" she asked him, trying to keep up. Hitoshi saw some guards and stopped them. "If that guy comes back i want to talk to him. if he won't listen then you'll have to do whats necessary to remain safe. if you can get him to talk to me, knock on the vault ten times pause for twenty seconds and then knock one more time." he ordered. the guard saluted and ran off. Hitoshi and Katsuko went to the vault where most of the servants were. they all went inside.
"You mean to kill him?" Katsuko asked.
Hitoshi nodded. "Only if he resists."
Katsuko looked at the closing door and bolted to it, slipping out just before it shut. She wasn't sure why, she just had a feeling that it wasn't fair to just write him off like that. she ran away from the guards, losing them in the garden and then sneaked to the outer wall.

Garret approached the gate of the palace. He saw three guards. He took out the first two from a distance by firing arrows into their heads. Then he ran up to the third guard and stabbed him in the neck before he could say anything. Garret took the key to the gate off of one of the guards and he opened the gate up. He ran into the palace and entered the shadows, becoming invisible.

Katsuko saw the commotion and left the wall, running after Garret.

Garret saw an oncoming guard. He pulled him into the shadows and covered his mouth. "Tell me where Hitoshi is and I might let you live." he whispered.

Garret moved his hand down so the guard's mouth was free. "What was that?" he whispered.
