After a while passed by he stood and left, having other places to go. He checked his coat, he had all his weapons on him, he'd probably need them in the upcoming battle he was about to walk into. Sighing he headed to St. Patricks Cathedral.

"Bloody awful night..." Samuel commented to himself, sliding in the door. Having slunk away after the crazy woman had departed with her deceased friend, he'd needed a drink, and badly. Hence his sudden arrival at the club. It wasn't the first place he would wanted to have patroned, however, it was closer.
He limped inside, weaving his way through the bodies, ignoring talk of battles, bloodshed and everything in between. Part of him hoped that boy would recover, though chance was against it. He hadn't known the boy, and while it was a shock, Sam would get over it. He always did.
Dropping into an empty seat at the bar, he ordered, and turned his back on the bar, facing out into the room. Perhaps there was another form of forgetfulness he could indulge in... provided any unattached individuals presented themselves.
He set his best, most inviting, grin on his lips, and scanned the room. Sooner or later, someone should make eye contact. If not, the alcohol would do its work.

"Does this happen to you often, then?" Sam asked the newcomer. Considering it wasn't everyday one saw a man pull a bullet from his own arm... the question was one of the few explicative-free things that could have come from his lips. "Or is this week simply an exception?"
Automatically, he sized up this new arrival. A smile crossed his lips. The expression was open, friendly, and nothing more. For the moment, he would prefer to be nothing more than a man indulging in a drink.

"I got shot at once in my entire life, and now I've been shot three times this week, it's madness" he said gulping down his drink then signaling for something that would last a little longer

Avicus looked around, and made eye contact with one lycan not too far down the bar from him, he got up and made his way to the one who looked at him. He seemed friendly and inviting, then another came up to the bar and started talking. Keeping on his guard, Avicus casually slid next to the who had made eye contact with him. With his drink in his hand, Avicus decided to open the conversation. "Some night tonight, huh? I'm new to these parts, my name is Avicus." He held his hand out to the other lycan, and notcied the one who flicked the pullet from his arm. He grimced a little. Giving his attention back to the lycan he had started the conversation with he decided to start his way in solving his problem. "You wouldn't happen to know of a safe-house around here with a vacant room, do you? I went to one but was turned away. The Elder told me about this club and that I might find someone who could help me."

"Then I pray your next week goes entirely as planned," Sam said, raising his glass once.
It was then another approached. He couldn't keep from arching a red-brown brow. Perhaps tonight wouldn't be such a waste as he'd originally thought.
"Hello to you too, Mr... ah... Avicus." He took the proffered hand. "I go by many names, most of them falling under synonyms of 'handsome'. But you can call me Samuel." His allowed himself a longer look. "Seeing as.. you most likely suffer under the same circumstances."
Taking a drink, he continued. "As far as lodgings, I'm afraid real estate isn't something in my repertoire. Perhaps a hotel would be accommodating until you can find a more permanent solution?" Another slow, relaxed drink. “That is, I’m afraid I cannot help you, unless you’re seeking something a bit more… how shall I say this? Friendly… than an empty hotel room.”

A small smile flickered across Avicus's face as he thought about Samuel's...er...compliment. He didn't know what to say and forgot about it. The hotel idea did seem like a good short-term solution. Then his ears pricked upon the last part, but he had a few quetions, so he decided to ask them. Taking a swig from his drink he looked back to Sam. "What do you mean by 'friendly' than an empty hotel room? Do you know someone that might want a room-mate?"

The smile remained in place on his face, never flickering, never changing. If anything, it broadened a touch. He ran a calloused finger across the rim of his glass, casually. When he did meet the other's gaze again, it was with a suggestive note to his expression.
"Temporarily perhaps," he replied, leaning his chin on a palm. "Though it depends on what sort of roommate you prefer to be."

One of Avicus's brown eyesbrows perked up on his forehead. He drank down the last of his drink in the glass and ordered another. He knew what Sam was heading to, but couldn't beileve that it was happening to him. He was always open to new and interesting things. He casually leaned up against the bar, with his drink in his hand and looked to Sam. "Are you suggesting I become your roommate? I warn you, I like to take things slow." He gave his famous soft, small, handsome smile. It made him look a little older, and with the shadows covering his face, gave him an almost evil look.

"And I don't take things seriously," he replied with a small lift of his eyebrows. "As in.. such an arrangement would only occur should you feel open to a brief stay." Extending his free hand, he casually studied his fingernails. They were in need of a trim.
At his first companion's words, he nodded. "Yes, perhaps that would be more to your liking for a more permanent home. However..." He let the last syllable drag out. "Should that new flat lend itself to the dull and lonely side..."
He let the words hang. Hopefully, the other would get the message. If not, he was fully prepared to be blunt. But subtlety was more fun by far.

Avicus looked to the further lycan who spoke of, 'The Den of the Fang.' He gave a sort of chuckle to himself. What a name, he thought to himself. His attention shifted back to Sam, who's full intention was coming out quite clear to him. Avicus finished his drink, placed the glass on the bar, paid his tab. He walked slowly around to face the further lycan to told Avicus of an apartment. As he did so, he slid one of his slim fingers around Sam's neck playfully, not looking at him at all speaking to the other lycan. "Where might I find this, 'Den of the Fang', kind sir?" Keeping his hand, lightly on Sam's shoulder.

"It's off the corner of third street and MLK avenue, big brick building-can't miss it. When you get there talk to Tianna, she'll hook you up with a room." then Kain realized what they were trying to do "Um-duh-I gotta go take care of something...over there" he walked over to a payphone and started talking to someone on it

As the lycan started to walk away, Avicus called over to him, "Thank you for your help!" He then turned to look at Sam and said, "Well, once I find a place I'll find someway of contacting you. Or you could come follow my scent to the apartment." He gave a wink with his same handsome/evil smile and walked out of the club. Now, on my way to find this 'Den of the Fang' and Tianna.
