Cassie closed her eyes. she became unaware of her surroundings. it was dark, so so dark.she didn't know where she was. it felt somewhat like home but it was so cold. she cold she should have seen her breath, but she didn't see anything. then she heard something. it sounded so familiar. her fathers voice. *Father?* he was shouting at her, always shouting. (You're a FAILURE!!! You are a disgrace to me. I can't even look at your face. You disgust me!! get out of my sight, you beast!) the voices kept on shouting at her, making her withdraw deeper into herself. tears streamed down her face and her eyes rolled around under her closed eyelids. she could almost feel his hands on her, striking her. she curled up into a tighter ball.

Mike shook her "This is really not the time to be daydreaming." Two more of the Zeds appeared at the other end of the alley, they froze in place "Come on." He lifted her up and pulled both her and Sarah out of there, looking for fish boy, he was strong but he still couldn't carry them both for long.

Cassie's eyes opened. she stumbled on her feet as Mike struggled to carry her and Sarah away. Cassie banished the voices and broke free from Mike's grasp. she ran at the two zombies [[i'm guessing thats what you meant by zeds, if not i can change this]] and tore them to shreds. her head pounded within her skull and she collapsed to the ground after she had finished with the undead.

Jasik looked at the man. "I'm not sure. do you have any ideas- sir." Jasik smiled as he tacked on the 'sir' at the end. he didn't want Lucian to feel like he was his superior.

Cassie's eyes flickered open. she groaned. she felt sore and cold. she pushed herself off the cold ground and looked around her. she saw two zombies gazing lifelessly at her. she backed away from the corpses and wrapped her armss around her legs. "Julius." she whispered.

Julius stopped and held the cross on his neck. "Please.......take me to Cassie!." he whispered as he closed his eyes. When he opened them he found himself next to Cassie. "Cassie are you ok?!" he asked with worry in his eyes.

Cassie looked up at the familiar voice. the familiar face. Cassie jumped up into his arms. "Julius!" she buried her face in his shoulder but quickly recoiled and stood a foot away from him. "Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't. You'll get blood on your clothes." she said apologetically.

"The- zombies-" her eyes rolled back. the voices were calling to her once more and she fell forward.

Julius gasped and caught Cassie in his arms. "Zombies?" he asked her even though he knew she probably couldn't hear her.

Cassie brought a bloody hand t her spinning head. "Uhh... i got up too quickly." she said. it wasn't really a lie, rising quickly hadn't helped at all. "Yes the zombies. i heard them and- i'm sorry that i left so quickly without a word." Cassie apologized.

"It's alright." he said as his stomach roared. "Why does this stuff always happen RIGHT when i'm about to eat something?" he asked himself.
