Sue was hoping for a way to see them all, her tribe, and all her company in Elibe. And she was sure that Roy must have missed his Father, Eliwood... she could surely tell him about the way back, and how this was another world than their own. "Is there a way back?"
"Wake... up." Victoria told her, and those who were having hopes of going back to Tellius, Elibe, Magvel, or wherever they were from. "Don't you... get it? If we're not here... we're... worlds apart. We'll never connect again... we'd never be able to. All we'd have are memories... memories that will fade away as new ones lay on top of them."

Valter's heart sank as he heard Leander's words. It was possible that he could lose everything... He'd finally found something worth living for, and it could all be taken away in an instant... Just like last time, the disheartened wyvern knight thought.

Ninian stood in the doorway, staring confusedly at the occupants of the room before her. She was happy to see that Nino was home and safe, but she did not recognize the man. He felt . . . cold.
"What is going on?" she asked, frowning slightly. "I overheard something about keys. . . ."

"I'm going to take a shower." Melethia said walking to the bathroom. "I have chimera blood and spit on me. I will miss you if you guys leave. I like some of you guys."

"Didn't we all meet... as fate? We are comrades, even a wanderer like me, to the rest of you, whom have settled." said Victoria. "Of course, maybe my life won't change at all... if all of you leave, then I'll just continue being a wanderer. And here I thought my days of living on the road were overwith. Just when I found a place that I thought was... worthwhile... it figures. I should have learned my lesson. Getting attached to people... means you're gonna lose them, whether they're taken from you, or they leave, you'll still lose them if you get close."

Priestess... you don't have to go back. Of course not. You might not have any reason to. Certainly not if people don't depend on you.
But, that's your call. Not mine.
Rhys stood up.
"Why don't you get some rest, then? In time, maybe we can do something about the monsters and give the good folk here some peace at last. Good night, Leander."
He promptly walked off, pausing a minute to heal Victoria's injuries, leaving only scars where cuts had been. He headed upstairs without a word to anyone.

"He was... troubled." Victoria noticed. No matter how healed she was, however, she was still a bit exhausted. The "Shadowed One" as she called him had did a number on her, and nothing short of a good night's rest could cure it. When she shut her eyes, she dreamt of her one worst fear... in her dream, she woke up to see FEFGA's house empty.
Of course she wasn't really awake yet, because the priestess had drifted into a long, disturbing sleep.

Alihi just shook her head, repeatedly. She refused to believe what was said. "No, no, no..."
Deep down, she knew Victoria's words were true: they'd be like outsiders in their own world.
"Besides..." She thought with a frown. "I'd never get to see Aidan or Blossom or Abel or anyone else again if I leave..." She shook her head once more.
"... I guess... I don't know. I'll wait. Yeah, that's it... I'll wait."
"... Mhn?" From a different room, Nils groaned softly. Fire Dragon had placed him in a bed, and the bard couldn't see him again.
"..." He got up, pulled out of the comfortable bed by his ever-nagging hunger.
"... That's right. I never did get something to eat, did I?"
He rubbed his eyes as he wandered to the room where the others were. He didn't speak up, though: things seemed too tense already, and he didn't want to make things any worse.

Amelia frowned, watching Rhys stand and speak for a moment before leaving, only pausing to heal Victoria's wounds. She glanced over at the others, then hefted herself to her feet, pushing the Crest into her pocket and setting off at a jog to catch up. "Rhys...!" she called quietly after him, feet padding on the floor. She slowed to a walk once the gap had been closed, reaching out and putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Are... you all right?" she asked uncertainly. It was an awkward question at best, especially after what had been divulged in the main room, but it was as good a place to start as any. "I mean... do you want to talk about it?" she studied him, the concern clear on her face.

Ninian decided to leave everyone to their thoughts and instead turned towards the kitchen to get some food for Nils. Upon returning to the room where he was, she found him mostly awake.
"Oh, Nils, you're awake! I brought you some food, if your still hungry."

Sue hesitated to say anything else about going back to Sacae, because of not only Victoria's speech, but also the troubled looks on the faces of Rhys and Valter. What could possibly be on their minds? She was no magic user, so she could never have those powers. And those who weren't nomads... were allowed to lie. They might not be honest if the truth was too painful. "Why is everyone so... tense?" Sue wondered.
Then, it hit her. A key, and a door to a place no one mentions... could it be, The Door was something like that? It would explain why Mika went through, where Madriana's morphs came through...
But, Sue shook her head. "No, if that's true, that we all accidentally came here, that we were never supposed to meet, than me, Soren, Alihi... Valter, Vaida, Rhys, Rei, Aran... everyone... we were all... never supposed to be friends? We were never supposed to struggle together, and triumph? We were never... supposed to even talk? That... can't be right. We've protected each other, we've comforted one another! We've been there where no one else would have... and we've faced dangers any normal people would run from, all for the sake of 'riding together.' I will never believe that mine, or anyone else's places here... are mistakes."
Now, if only she had the spunk to say it out loud, but Sue was just too tired. She needed some rest, also to sleep on her decision. She shut her eyes, and let the darkness of rest take over.

Ninian smiled gently at her brother. "Here. It's nothing too fancy, but it's better than nothing. Just don't eat too fast," she said, handing the tray to Nils.

"...Come with me," he said quietly, taking her by the hand and pulling her into the library, shutting the door behind him.
When they were in, he turned and faced her. For once, he didn't look like the happy-go-lucky Rhys he usually was. He looked... sad. Dejected.
"Ehhh... this is going to sound stupid," he began, looking downward at his feet. "Especially when you've lost so much, too. But... I never realized it until now, but back home, I had people who depended on me. My parents... they were old. I was their only source of income. And now... I've gone and left them! I've been gone all these years! They're dead! It's--it's all my FAULT!" he ended rather loudly, turning and pounding his fist on the wall.
*Sniff* "It's... it's all my fault. They're dead of--of poverty because of me."

While she was taking a shower (no you guys can't see her naked it's those good camera angles that doesn't show that), Melethia thought about what she heard. "Were we not to meet?" She asked herself, "Was what I did with Soren a bad thing? Should Isamu not have came to be? Was it all not to happen?" She looked up just letting the water hit her.
