Hotaru was walking with Zero. "Don't get why you got so freaked out. Only way to get you out of there at the time.....and if you're worried about that....you shouldn't hold conversations on the roof tops." He gave a shrug. "Not that I care what you do in your free time, it's just with a secret, you should probably keep it closer to the chest." He looked at her. "Besides, you know you aren't the only one with a horrible secret." He gave a wicked grin, but said no more.

Anna shook her head. "He's fine. Walking around with Zero, I'm not sure where to," she said shortly, dropping her arm as the glass glowed and then dropped and rolled away. "Happy?" Merlin shook his head.
"Anna, what is wrong?" he whispered to her.

Zero glared clenching her fists. "Just keep your nose out of my buisness. I'm the irritating annoying brat you have to deal with." she sneered at him. "You have your history with your secreats and I have my gloomy history."

Hotaru sighed, and shook his head. "If you weren't so intent on pushing people away, you might be kinda cute, but you go ahead and wind up alone." He gave a shrug. "That's all you. Me, I'm going to be lucky enough to actually have friends, and a family that actually cares for me. Not one that wants me dead." With that, he started to increase his pace. "You're call Zero, either way, we're gonna have to travel together, so it's time to decide, friends, or not." He looked back at her, "And for the record, you're only annoying and irritating when you're like this."

[[maybe a bit of a recap would be nice before I get too heavily involved XD;;]]
"Really, thank you for showing me around...Aerith, right?" Jistin shifted the large paper grocery-like bag in her arms as the gentle flowergirl nodded and they exited the shop area of Radient Garden and headed into the more residential area, "Especially with the advice for armor shopping and paying for all the potions and ethers. I'm really short on munny."
"It's no problem really," Aerith waved the blonde girl off, dismissing the younger girl's worries. "If you should need to restock or anything, you can come back here any time. Hey, why don't you come with me to Merlin's? I'll introduce you to a few friends so there are some familliar face waiting when you return!" she finished cheerily.
Jistin nodded. "Sounds good!" she replied and scanned the houses for a hint at which was to be their destination, when a head of white hair caught her hazel eyes coming from the castle. The bag barely missed her feet when it fell out of her grasp, a corner of the bag soaking from a now-cracked potion bottle inside. She bolted forward from Aerith's side toward the girl. "TSUBASA!"

((Recap is not a problem, though I am calling in help, seeing as how I'm not in the best position to give one. So ichy, and chaos, any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'll add anything that Hotaru, or Leon has done tomorrow, after this night has ended for me, that said, Jis, you noticed Zero, which means you noticed Hotaru, which means I have one last post in me for Sunday, technically Monday, I know, but the sun has yet to rise for me, making it Sunday!))
Hotaru instantly summoned his keyblade at the shout of 'Tsubasa', seeing as how sudden noises through him on alert do to to many interruptions in training do to Yuffie, Merlin, or Cid calling out to either of them. "The Hell!?" Was all he muttered as he took a fighting stance slightly reminiscent of Leon's gunblade stance, and not his own peculiar makeshift one designed in his off hours of training. He stepped in front of Zero in the same instant that he summoned Zero Chance, and took up the best guard position he could in the street.
((Also, I love the tsubasa anime, it's amazing, terrifying (Weeelll not the right word, but having gone out drinking with a coworker this is the best I can do at the moment), and heart wrenching all at the same time, and my fav character from that anime is Faye. He's just so awesome. I have a little fan boy crush on him!!))((Also just let me know if this doesn't make enough sense tomorrow, and I'll edit the hell out of it, cause I can do that awesome rewind action))

Hotaru's attempt to shield Zero would have been met with scorn if she hadn't been tackled to the cobble-stone street. Her eyes wide stareing at the blonde. "JISTIN!?" She gasped back in shock, she recovered, sort of, pushing the blond off of her, or trying to. "Jistin, what the hell are you doing here!? You're suposed to be on the islands!" She pratically scolded holding the girl by her shoulders.

Jisten floundered for words for a moment. "What am I doing here?!" she exclaimed at last, "What are you doing?!" The blonde reached out to comb her fingers through her friend's hair, as if trying to tell if it were really there. "Tsu-Tsu, everyone back on the Islands thinks you're dead..." her hazel eyes softened and took an almost faraway quality to them, like she was thinking of something else. Or in this case, half a dozen 'something else's at once.

Hotaru let his keyblade disappear with a shrug. "Well.....guess I don't need to worry about........." He sighed and looked at Aerith. "I can't believe I got ignored....I'm....I don't know where I'm gonna go." He turned back to look at Zero, and smirked. "Ya know, I was right about you Zero." He started walking towards Merlin's. "Kinda cute when you aren't intent on being so gloomy." He stopped, and turned back around. "Or is it 'Tsu-Tsu'?" His smirk becoming a wicked grin.

The mismatched eyes of the white haired girl turned instsantly cold again. "SHUT UP HOTARU!" She shouted getting up and turning her attention back down to the blond. She faltered for a moment. "Good." she said softly. "I did die Jistin. So go home."

((So the recap falls upon one then? Sorry if it's confusing, I'm no good at these things... Hmmm... what can I remember. Hotaru trains under Leon, Zero under Merlin, and Anna is Merlin's assistant. Hotaru was found by Leon and Yuffie in a cave when he was still quite young. Anna came to Merlin years ago. Let's see... Hotaru and Anna developed feelings for each other and love was confessed between the two of them I do believe... I think you know Hotaru and Zero are keyblade holders, and you probably know that Zero is in denial... OH! Anna worked for the Heartless before coming to Merlin, but only Merlin, Leon and Hotaru know that. Everyone else knows her as plain, ordinary Anna who can't do magic, can't cook, and does whatever Merlin needs. But Anna is actually quite powerful and wants to help Hotaru and now Zero on their mission so she came up the secret identity known as A. A wears a teal cape with a hood that always covers her face, jean shorts and big black boots that go to the middle of her shins. Again, only Leon, Hotaru and Merlin know the true identity of A. Anything else... Yes. Hotaru is the son of the head of the Heartless and for this reason, although I think I've only hinted at this, Anna changed her mind and decided not to go on the mission but hasn't told anyone. Merlin wanted this all along but just before Anna decided not to go he decided it was best for her to go, but I think that's only been hinted at too... And one more thing, there were tons of Heartless at the castle that Hotaru had to fight in order to save Zero and Anna knew and didn't help so now she feels super guilty and can't look at herself. But no one knows that she knew or that she feels guilty... I believe that's all... Anyone disagree and want to add on?))
Anna and Merlin kept staring at each other intently. They had been doing this for awhile. Merlin wanted an answer and Anna wasn't sure if she should give him one. Then Merlin noticed something strange. Anna wasn't actually looking him in the eyes. It looked as if she was focusing on his nose. She had never done this before. Whenever she looked at him she wouldn't avoid eye contact. If she wanted to do that she look down at her feet, but she never faked it.
"Anna?" Merlin asked almost gravely. "Why aren't you looking me in the eyes?" Anna's head dropped down and she looked down at her bear legs and feet that had already begun drying. She knew the gig was up.
"Merlin," she whispered like mouse. "It's just... I mean..." She sighed, not know what the right words were or that she should even speak them.

"Go home?!" Jistin exclaimed, getting to her feet and ignoring her long-lost friend's mention of being dead; she was standing right there in front of her, of course she wasn't dead. "I find you--" [Stumbled upon really.] "--after all this time, and you want me to just turn tail and go home?!" She dropped her eyes down to scowl at the cobblestone, calming herself before speaking again as calmly as she could, "I may not have left to come looking for you, [one can only hold onto the hope you were still alive for so long] but I sure as Hell aren't going to just walk away and leave you," her hazel eyes were set in hard determination when they looked back up to Tsubasa and her two-tone eyes that were unfamiliar to the blonde.

Hotaru just laughed. "Listen, I don't know you, and to be honest, I don't really care, but I do know Zero, and you don't have to argue with her. Just stick around and bug her. That's what I do." He gave a shrug as he looked at Jistin. "Besides, I'm sure you're hungry after traveling, so it would be rude to just send you on your way, more so considering you knew who Zero used to be. Also, I'm not going to try to pry." He looked at Zero when he said that. "Everyone has a past they don't want to talk about, but I'm starving, so I'm going to get some food. Everyone is more than Welcome to join me." With that, he gave a sigh. "Man I hate doing this."
((Ichy, just outta curiosity, when are you gonna throw the two strangers back in the mix, cause I'm pretty sure we should have a little chat regarding them real quick, just to work out all the final details, I actually like the idea of having them around, so don't worry bout me trying to get rid of them. I'll leave that up to Hotaru and the others. 3nodding ))

Anna couldn't bring her head up. Thoughts kept whirling around her brain at a thousand miles per hour and she could barely understand any of them. Finally she reached out and just grabbed one, any one, luckily, it was a good one. "Merlin," she said determinedly, looking up at him, resolved to tell him the truth. Suddenly she heard Leon in the kitchen and the idea came crashing down like a rock. "I have to change," she muttered under her breath as she dropped her head and slowly started turning towards her room, as if hoping someone would intervene.

Leon walked out, taking a bite out of his sandwich. "Change how?" He managed to get out around the sandwich. He looked at her. "Sorry, couldn't help but overhear you guys."
