Talon heard the ent thing. "So who is leading them? How do they know about Katie in the first place? They wouldn't act without a strong leader to go against what I told them." he asked calmly, however, his eyes betrayed his calm exterior as he glared at John.

"Very fiew people know who is leading them even in their group. And they look for people like Katie. That's all they spend their time doing." John pushed back Katie's hair and kissed her forehead. Usually he didn't care about family, but with Katie it was different. He would do anything for her.

Kaida sighed. 'It's okay...just...I dunno...she just smelled good...I didn't want to do anything to hurt her though.....' She went to stay next to him, but didn't know if she should embrace. 'Sorry I snapped at you...do you forgive me?' She asked.

Taya moaned as her head throbbed painfully. She sat up and looked around to see where she was but didn't recognize it. "Okay, let me think...The people were arguing, that girl appeared outof thin air, the weird guy crashed through the door, a spider crawled up my leg...!!!!" she whispered before looking down to make sure the spider was gone. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw no spiders. "So, how do I get out of here..."

Kaida smiled weakly at him and hugged him. She buried her face into his chest. 'Don't apologize...I shouldn't have gotten so close I s'pose...maybe you wouldn't have been so protective.'

After Talon had finally left the room, Katie and John continued to talk. He asked her if she really wanted to be a vampire. When she said yes at first, he told her everything about being a vampire, both good and bad, not leaving out any details and then asked her again. After he was done talking, she mulled over his words. Finally she said she still wanted to someday be a vampire. John asked if she was ready now and again, she said yes. She closed her eyes but instead of biting her, John said he had to go out and would return in a while.

Katie was asleep on the couch when John came back in. He walked up to her and knelt down beside her. He brushed back her hair and, being careful not to wake her, whispered in her ear, "If you no longer wish to be human, than human you will no longer be." And with that he sunk his fangs into her neck, making sure not to take any of the deadly blood for himself. Her eyes popped wide open but he just held his hand to her mouth so she wouldn't scream. In a while it was over and she was finally a vampire. John took an old rag and wiped the deadly blood off his lips. "How do you feel?" he asked. To his surprise, she did something most newborns can't do: she jumped up, grabbed him around the neck and said with a smile, "Powerful." He didn't flinch away from her but instead just returned a smile. She let go of his neck. And gave a small laugh.

Kaida was still hugging him when she heard a commotion. 'What's going on?' She asked.

Kale's mind was blanked out when she hugged him like that, he couldn't even regisister his surroundings, just her hugging him. He wanted to hug her back, but as was said before, his mind stopped working for him in every other way. But he returned when her worried thoughts of the surroundings entered his mind. He blinked a few times, definately sure that if he were human, his entire face and neck would be red, then again if he were human he would've done something special on the first night she was his, but since he's not, he would have to wait until she was ready or Talon and himself declares her ready for the world.
