[[orly? *chcks* xD s**t... i need to pay more attention. i thot u two were stilll talkinga bout whether or not your going to go bak to town to get a swim suit for Shiki xD]]
The monster groaned as itwas held in place, but it tried to shake free from the spell. "Don't look directly into it's eyes! It might be a basilisk!" Shoxie warned them. He then turned around and took out his fan and waved it rapidly at the giant snake creature. It roared and moved back a bit, but then kept on slithering slowly towards the party.

Shiki jumped at the creature, her eyes a bright blue and pink. Looking the creature in the eyes had no effect on Shiki when she's using her mystic eyes of death perception. She moved just fast enough to avoid getting caught by the creatures fangs and every so often she swiped at the air. Well, that's what it looked like to the others. She was simply killing the monster's gaze on her. The last time she did that was on Earth, against Asagami Fujino's telekinetic mystic eyes that bent and snapped anything she saw. There was a point in the back of the serpent's head. That was what she was aiming for.

With the sound of the roar Drynn looked up to see two great yellow eyes coming towards them with considerable speed. Gazing into the eyes her body froze and her breathing became light. She was in a trance. As Shoxie tossed her onto his back she became limp but yet still sturdy. Drynn’s eyes glistened as she continued to stare into the piercing eyes of the giant monster, the skull still clenched in her hand.

Evan skidded to a stop as he focused on the creature. The spell was taking a lot out of him, since the basilisk was so large. "Shoxie, get Drynn out of here!" she cried.

Shoxie was about to make one big icy gust to freeze the serpent into a big block of ice, but Shiki was too close to it, and he didn't want to risk getting her caught in the gust. He figured that Shiki could handle it. He quickly nodded at Evan and ran towards the water. He reached the edge. "Drynn, hold your breath." He told her and then jumped in. He then started swimming upwards as fast as he could.

Part of Drynn awoke when Shoxie spoke to her as they plunged into the cold water. However, it was not enough time for her to take a deep breath.

Shiki kept the creature looking at her, to avoid anything happening to the others, "I owe Tohko enough thank you...!" She yelled at it and swiped the air again. She was buying time for Shoxie to get out with Drynn.

"H-h-hurry SHiki!" Evan cried out as he began to pant from the effort of maintaining the spell.

Shoxie was swimming so fast that he shot out of the surface and landed onto the ground near the edge of the waterfall. He set Drynn down onto the ground.

"Hold your breath!" Shiki demanded of Evan with an unusual level of excitement. There was a weird gleam in her eyes. She was up to something.

Evan took a deep breath and then held it in. He looked at her, suspiciously.

Shiki held her breath as she fought with the serpent. She brought it towards where a point of death was above it. She jumped off of its' snout as high as she could and stabbed the ceiling of the cave. Boulders came crashing down on her and the serpent. Moments later torrents of water came gushing down as well, quickly flooding the cave. Shiki knew Evan could get out of he just went up the hole she made.

Evan let the magic he was using on the serpent dissipate. Then he swam over towards Shiki, wanting to make sure she was okay.
