"Oh well... I used to have a lot of lessons for etiquette and such. I sat in on meeting with my fathers, learning their jobs. Umm for free time I would read, practice my fire magic, play music.. or just stay in my room. I seemed to keep busy... though Tihalt always had more to do since he's the heir." She frowned bitterly at that.

Ade nodded and wrapped her up tight in his arms. "Do not begrudge your brother his extra lessons." His heart ached seeing her like that. "You have more to learn than your brother would ever be able to comprehend. You will be able to do things that he will never be able to. You were made for better things than to rule."

She sighed "Maybe... but to rule was all I wanted since I was little. I KNOW I'm better for the job than he is. And while I may be going on to greater things... I'd still like there to BE a kingdom to rule... in case it goes to one of my children. Tihalt will just destroy everything.."

Ade rocked her back and forth gently. "If everything is destroyed, we will rebuild it. It breaks my heart to see you upset over this. I would fix it if you wish, but it would require several compulsions and perhaps a few blood exchanges. It would also not be the right thing to do, but I would do it if it meant you would be happy."

"Your brother is much like your father. He is more likely to lose his temper than you are. That is important when you rule. Tempers flairing leads to wars, and wars destroy as well. Though I think your brother could use a backbone, I think that his mate will help balance him out more. Perhaps demand that he gain a backbone, even."

She shook her head "Its not my fault he can't express himself. He's always been like that. Anyway... I push him to try and get him to react.. grow a backbone or something. But he never does... he just takes it all like a lump."

She shook her head "No.. he socializes less than I do." She frowned suspiciously "What kind of motivator? I don't want him to get hurt.. he is still my brother... and he's the type to just let himself be beat on.."
