Charles' eyes narrow slightly. The power play unfolding before him speaks volumes of what is going on here, even if the words are not very helpful. Shimigami are all on edge, almost as if they are looking for a fight. Others are more . . . logical. These others, Arrancar by the looks of them, decide to hold their tempers and pull back. Then again, given the state of two worlds, they have nothing to prove.
His so-called comrades, they have a bit of hatred . . . a need. The Arrancar was right, hatred is dangerous. Odd that it came from the conqueror, the people that turned the world into a pit of hate and pain. Almost why they are the opposites. When the Shimigami ruled 'existance,' these people were hungry, they had the need. Taking on the role of villain they mounted moves and attacks, stormed the gates of their opponent- and won.
Now comes the crux. When the roles are reversed, when the Arrancar are the holders of the kingdom, they become calm. Will the shimigami rise to the challenge in the same way? Will those that wear the black also become feral and hunt . . . or will it be centuries before the balance shifts again? More than once he has thought this through training- but this is the first time he has actually seen the interaction. Perhaps it is because he is new. Perhaps it is because he is not in the same squad. Perhaps it is because of his ignorance.
Whatever the reason, after witnessing this encounter, Charles is not impressed.
Instead, he begins to move again. Still not trying to hide himself, he merely pauses a bit after a few steps to ensure any paying attention might notice him. Looking up with a kind smile, he asks politely speaks.
"Pardon me, I have no wish to interrupt, but as this meeting seems at an end, do any of you know where I might find the remnants of squad 12? I have a mission involving them, and would appreciate a bit of aid."

Sho turns when he hears the strangers voice. Another member of 12th Squad ... where is their leadership at anyway? Sho says, "Hello, my name is Sho Yuuki and I'm the 3rd Seat of 10th Squad. I have no clue where your leadership is but your welcome to stay. Hopefully this will end on a good note and we can all get back to relaxing and the such ...."

His body moves casually, approaching the pair with veiled caution and not approaching quickly nor too close. Behind the visor, his eyes dart back and forth, only barely visible from the outside. Taking in numbers and orientation of all around, Charles walks a careful path between both Shimigami and Arrancar forces. Still, outwardly he keeps his friendly smile and calm pace.
"Third seat, ne?" he offers a descending whistle of being impressed, and smiles a bit wider. "Name's Takena . . . Charles to my friends, if that matters. My leadership is of my own problem, though I do appreciate the concern. Rest assured that things are just fine. My orders simply involve squad 12. I'd be just fine with ending on a good note- though I am not sure what end you mean."
Turning to face the calm opponents, the Arrancar, his smile remains broad and friendly. Coming to a stop not far from Horatio, Charles starts to offer a handshake, but pauses halfway through the action in uncertainty. "Pity you have to leave . . . it might be nice to get to know you as well. Perhaps some other time?" His eyes try not to stare at any portion of the person before him. No need to be rude, but still as this is his first encounter his mind races to take in details. The similarities to shimigami are remarkable.
In the back of his mind, he is sure that those behind him wearing black shihakshos are likely to scowl at his friendly overture- but he can deal with that later. For now he is just as curious of his foes as his allies.

Horatio released a little chuckle, rather pleased to see one of the first shinigami ever to greet him in such a manner, rather then with swords and weapons. Horatio with his left hand raised it to his chest before waving it infront of him a 180 degree turn across stretching it out to his left in a respectable manner to greet Takena.
In his mind, taken in by the kind greeting, he contemplated to leave or not now, but the shaking of the gate overhead was enough to a reminder. "Well Takena... I suppose we may meet again aslong as he is within your ranks or pressence, that is if I or any of you live long enough to meet again..."
Horatio had decided to take the first move, walking over towards Takena, in his walk he raised his spear out to his right, rotating it several times before the speark began to glow, reverting to its original form, a katana with an oddly enlonged handle. Resheathing it just before protruding and outstretching his right arm out to Tekana. Doing so he turned his head to glance at Tenshu with almost a mocking smile.
Horatio of course... was curious and mischevious, in his very own way he was sly aswell and couldn't help get himself in a bit of fun and trouble at the same time.

Sho says, "As soon as the Arrancar leaves, I'm outta here. This place was nice and quite but now there are too many people here. It's too bad, the place is awesome place to come and recoop .... "

The flourish is carefully analyzed and watched. Theatrics aside, the turn of events is welcome and reinforces his smile. What was once a tense battle-ready moment seems to be warming up nicely to friendly discourse. At least, that would be the naive way of looking at it. Regardless of what he may say or do, this is an Arrancar. Trust is not something easily given.
As Horatio approaches, the glow and transformation of his weapon does not go unnoticed. At his side, the familiar weight of his own zan does little to reassure him. So new to the academy, he doesn't even know how to release it yet. This thought is almost immediately followed by an odd sense of comfort. No explanation or reason, but still there are more pressing matters.
To share in the action of reducing offensive power, Charles reaches up and removes his visor with his right hand. The gray eyes underneath do not linger long on any part of the Arrancar, and his smile is just as wide as he tries to remain friendly. This could be the end of him if he upsets this very powerful opponent- or disrespects the 3rd seat of squad 10 standing a few feet away . . .
"Well, kind of a morbid way of saying it, but I think that was friendly enough." A weak smile on his face, he pockets the visor on his bandoleer and offers his right hand in response. Taking the offered gesture, he tries to shake hands with a being that likely could tear him to ribbons if he so chose to. "I hope that this isn't a bother. Just trying to be 'neighborly.'"
With a glance over his shoulder, he sighs at the comments of his fellow shimigami. With such attitudes, finding information might be a great deal harder. Then again . . . his mind whirls and options open for investigation.

Tenshu watched as the Arrancar left, his anger increasing as he saw the mocking smirk. He didn't understand why the others let him leave, for all they knew he could be one of the Arrancar that killed some of the other shinigami in the Sereitei. But he had no choice, he sheathed his zanpaktou as he was ordered and turned to walk away. "I don't see why we didn't kill him, that would be one less Arrancar to deal with in the future. Next time, I won't let an Arrancar live again. I don't care if you cut me down, I will show no mercy or respect to an Arrancar." He turned around to walk away.

Obviously Charles heard Tenshu's comment and reluctantly let go of the Arrancar's hand. With a slight bow and a soft smile he takes a backstep. "Sorry, perhaps next time we can chat a bit more?" Walking calmly towards Sho, he hopes that the thundering of his heart isn't that obvious.
Still fighting the adrenaline of fear and revelation, he pulls out his notebook and a pencil and begins to frantically draw a basic overview of the Arrancar he just shook hands with, complete with some rudimentary notes about what he did determine. "Sho- I can call you that, can't I? You do realize that attacking them right now would be stupid and suicide, right? If we don't keep a reign on guys like him, those Arrancar might not wait till we are ready for a fight to come after us."

Ike's eyebrow raised. For some odd reason, Ike had always felt there was something more to the guy. Something he should know, just on the edge of the knowledge. And so this just made him more curious. Ike smiled at them as a little chuckles with his hands in his pockets. "Oh well I think Im gotta go stay here for a while until Revlis arrive here." Ike hoped Revlis come here as fast as hurry up. He knew that Horatio was looking for a Revlis whatever what he want with Revlis. "When I meet you, Horatio. When its time." Ike was pissed off at Revlis with his hands in his pockets as he didn't understand why Revlis leave without us.

~* Evil Wolf*~Evil watched the arrancar curiously. How strange this creature was. She turned her head slightly to Takena. Welcome Takena, my name is Evil, Captain of Squad 10. Are you looking for Raiden? I believe he was waiting for someone from Squad 12 to come and train him. The, her gaze settled on Sho. Sho, where do you think you'd go? You don't have my permission to leave this Forest. We are still in a battle situation and I don't need my Squad members going all over the Earth willy-nilly. You could be killed and I'd never know it. She said calmly. Evil stood where she was, eyes drifting over those who were gathered here. She wasn't trying to sound rude, but she needed to know where her people were. Especially since the whole of the Sereitei was taken over by hollows. ~*Captain of Squad 10*~

Charles fights the urge to facepalm hard enough to bleed. Here he just shook hands with the enemy, complained about a comrade, and did it right in front of a Captain. Several less than socially acceptable words pass his mind. Nothing like looking the idiot or traitor in front of one of the more powerful people around. In embarrassment, he reaches into his bandoleer and replaces his visor before turning and bowing to Evil.
"Captain! Please forgive my impertinence. As for the member of squad 12 you mentioned, I am neither qualified nor capable of any major training. I only recently graduated from the academy, so my abilities are not that great. I was only sent to find the majority of squad 12, not train them." The thought of how screwed crosses his mind at the same time his mind muses about the Captain of squad 10, whom he insulted several ways by his estimation, is named 'evil.'

He turned his head toward Evil, he had the most respect for her. This was unknown to him, but he didn't feel he was needed here. "Captain, not to show you any disrespect what so ever. But I can't stay here, all I'm good for is fighting and if I'm denied that, especially toward an Arrancar, then I don't belong here." He turned his head back toward where his body was facing and started walking. "I'm going to Earth, I will do my own training there. If I encounter any enemies and I do end up dying then thats on me, I will not place the blame on anyone else because I am the one that chose to leave of my own free will." He continued walking, listening to see if anyone had anything to say before he left.

~* Evil Wolf*~Evil's fur bristled, she started to bare her fangs, turning to where Tenshu began to walk off. In a deadly quiet voice she asked, Tenshu. You dare disobey my orders? Did you not hear what I just said? Come back here. Right now, or I may just skin you alive. Whether or not she was joking was remained to be seen. ~*Captain of Squad 10*~
