Ciara quickly linked their minds and then ran towards the camp, the blade in her hand.

Aleksi felt Ciara's consciousness link to his. He felt a strange urge to take a look in hers, and began to probe her mind. He didn't mean, to he just was really curious. She was such an odd girl after all, what made her tick?

Ciara knew Aleski wanted to know more about her, and she smiled, letting him know it was alright to enter her mind. He would have found some pretty traumatizing memories of her being left all alone, called devil spawn by those closest to her, and being blamed for her older brother's death.
Meanwhile, Ciara slowed as she approached the camp, looking around for a way in.

Aleksi returned to his own consciousness. He blushed after seeing a few things he probably shouldn't have. He looked up at Ciara from his metal window to the world. "That's some pretty sad stuff." he said pressing his hands and nose against what was kinda like glass.

"I deal with it," Ciara said back. She showed him images of her brother's card, and told him that he willingly became one of her cards to be with her.
She found an easy way into the camp and walked in, looking around.

"Thats sweet." Aleksi said mentally to Ciara. "Be careful. Don't get hurt. I'll call you when it's safest." As he finished, two bandits rounded a corner and yelled out to the others. They ran out to her with weapons bared and surrounded her. Others came from inside the huts and tents.

Ciara stood calmly, the sword still at her side. "Let me speak with your leader," she said.

The grunts looked at her dumbstruck by her forwardness. The man in robes walked out from among them as if out of nowhere. He walked up to Ciara and said. "You? The girl from before?"

Ciara didn't respond. She stared at the man, then at the men surrounding her, then her gaze went back to the man. "Tell them to get away from me."

The man's head tilted in his robe in curiosity. He exposed his hand and waved the bandits away from Ciara. His hand was bony and pale from a mixture of lack of sunlight and overuse of magic.

"Thank you," Ciara said. She was waiting for a decent opportunity to give him the sword without seeming suspicious.

"I suppose you are here for your card?" The man said in a deep rhaspy voice. "I did not mean to take it." he said producing it from his sleeve. "Your friends reaction to me caused me to teleport everything except my robe instead of me and my things. Bad spell wording and all that."

Ciara nodded. "Thank you," she said, taking the card. She would have to repair it later. "It seems you can track my active magic, since you followed the magic to my hand when I tried to summon," she added. "That takes skill."

Ciara nodded. She didn't know how to proceed from here, and so she asked Aleski mentally for some help.
