Hans was silent and motionless under the sheet. he actually looked more like a corpse hung on the wall like a decoration. Elli peered in after Chrono with caution, as if Hans had somehow escaped his stake.

"I am..." Yuma took a longer sip of coffee; "I don't know what was more shocking, looking at Vermillion standing in Mary's living room, or hearing the healer at the infirmary verify what Vermillion suspected."

 Irritated, Chrono walked up to the sheet and pulled the stake, "Elli... If you don't like gore... I advise you leave. If he remains motionless like this, i'll have to cut his head off." ~~~~~~~~~ Akuma nodded and looked over at her father. he returned the look With a soft smile added to it, and passed her the tea, "Would you. like some more tea?" Akuma shook her head, "No, I'm not feeling well again." She stood up and began to clear the table of her mess, and started wobbling. Kaos stood up and caught her and took the dishes to set them on the counter, "Akuma... Why don't we go rest..." He scooped her up and kissed her forehead, then carried her up to her room.

Yuma moved onto eating biscuits; "You make great biscuits Lucid, but been awhile since our last meeting. What have you been up to since then?"

Quannah and SalSoon both stood up from their stools when Chrono came in, and waited for Chrono to finish up with Elenath before coming clean with what they gathered from the kitchen.

Lucid smiled, he was glad Yuma liked his cooking, although he didnt consider it his. "My father taught me how to cook. Hes great at cooking, I told him that he should be a chef."

Hans' body sunk to the floor and hit with a thump.
Elli's eyes grew wide, "his head?" she whispered to herself.
"But I like my head." Hans mumbled. He then tried to stand but tripped on the sheet and fell on his face.

Chrono sighed and pulled him to his feet, "Alright, I've come up with a way to separate you two... But it won't be comfy... you willing to deal with the pain or would you rather have your grandfather stuck in you?" ~~~~~~~ Kaos laid her daughter in bed and kissed her forehead, "Thank you for being kind sweetheart... Yuma doesn't hate you..." "She just doesn't like me either... And the feelings are mutual. We both get this, and don't think it's about to change because you had sex with her and got her pregnant." she growled as she rolled over and threw the covers over her head. Kaos took her hand and she fought to free it, "Sweetheart listen." "No, You listen! I have spent all my life in the shadow of your life while everyone else stood in the light! I never mattered... I was your little demon. The little mistake your father forced you to make. You never really cared you just took care of me because you had to; because you didn't want to ruin your name any further than you ******** father Kartane did!" Kaos paled and began shaking. Tears streamed from his eyes, but his face remained emotionless. Akuma pulled her hand away and curled into a ball crying. he pulled his hand away and shuffled out of the room. once downstairs he looked at Lucid and forced a smirk, "Akuma needs you... I'm going to go do some gardening..." Kaos then drifted out of the house and around back to the garden.

Yuma smiled; "Do you need a hat to be a chef, or is it the skills you possess that makes you the chef. I don't carry the title of master swordsman, but I feel my skills are equivalent. If your father taught you to cook this well then he is a chef by all means, but the best part is he gave you the skill to add your own flavor. To test that you can eat one of these biscuits and then taste one of your fathers. there will be a difference, and that is difference is the soul we put into our work.'
(after kaos comes in)
Yuma rose from her chair; "I really appreciate breakfast Lucid." Yuma fixed a cup of tea, and refilled her coffee cup. Yuma followed after Kaos and sat down at the edge of the garden "Take minute and sit with me dear, i brought you some tea, i made it how i remembered you making it, but something is bothering you.'

Lucid looked upset and hurried up the stairs and into her bedroom. he saw her form curled under the covers of the bed. he crawled in with her and held her under the sheets. "Baby, what happened? Dont cry, im here." he said to her softly.

"Is that what happened?" Hans asked, he still looked drowsy and sounded so.
"I blacked out and.." he said to himself, then looked at Chrono for a moment. "Yes doctor ill go through with the surgery."

Kaos sat next to Yuma and took the tea, "I'm fine love... Don't worry. Father Daughter issues... It's nothing though. " Kaos wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead, "Everything will be alright." he rested his chin on her head and did his best not to start crying. ~~~~~~~~~ Akuma pulled Lucid as close to her as she could and cried, "Nothing, Just be here for me... You're all I need." ~~~~~~~~~ Chrono grinned, "Well, The vamp's got more than i thought he did..." he turned and looked at Elli, "Alright lovely assistant... I need you to go ask Anabel for a special herbal blend that will help this process... could you do that for me?"

"It's me right, she doesn't like the fact were together, and about to have children. Why don't either of you just come right out and say it, I'm fine hearing it, because frankly speaking she isn't the only one I met in my life to hate my guts. It still doesn't change how I feel about you, and certainly isn't going to stop this pregnancy. I would love to say I'm sorry and start over fresh with her, but every time we meet its like I'm standing in a room of powder with a match burning." Yuma sighed; "I want to make things right, but every chance i get there is a fire to be put out somewhere and no time to listen."

"Yuma..." Kaos stood up and faced her, "She told me that i am a horrible father.... That i put everyone else first and her last. That i am so obsessed with my self image that i cared for her only because it might tarnish my reputation." he tried to fight back the tears and stay strong, but it became increasingly hard as Akuma's words echoed in his head, "It's not you... "

Yuma stood up and gave him a hug; "Tolly wasn't exactly the worlds best either, i was his first, the learning baby, but he tried his best with me." Yuma leaned back to look at his eyes; "You did your best, you made mistakes, it happens to the best, but what doesn't make you a horrible father is your still trying. Akuma can fault you for not being there growing up, your here and now, and it wasn't her that made the scythe lighter during the first battle of Arynia, or healed her wounds. You gave lucid permission to marry her, you were there for the whole planning stages, pre-planning, meeting parents, and trying to have a relationship with me at the same time, and drop things off that vermilion requested of you in return for the time he gave up for you to be with me." Yuma pointed back at the house; 'I 'll bet you my swords and my soul Akuma looked worse then she does now when she got back from killing Luicd's murder. I also make the same bet you were right there treating her, if not right there fighting with her during the whole decay of what should have been the happiest moment of her life, but you were there helping her since whomever caused your daughter hurt.
However if you want a perfect example of a horrible father, that is the person I stabbed my sword through in twilite town, and Akuma should be thanking her lucky star you didn't turn out like he did. So no Kaos, you're a great father, because you take her crap yet are right there when she needs you." Yuma hipped suddenly and she swallowed making a face; "uggh, no more coffee for me, but seriously kaos your a great father."

Kaos sighed and walked over to the side of the Island, ""Well, at least someone thinks i'm doing something right... Hell, Chrono gets this look in his eyes, like if i do one more thing to hurt her, HE'S going to adopt her." he sat down and let his feet dangle off the edge. he looked at the ground and laughed, "Y'know... That's one thing i miss about the real world. When you get this close to death you get an adrenaline rush. However, now it's just... nothing. You could jump from here, and plummet to the earth knowing that when you hit the ground it's going to hurt like a son of a b***h, but you'll be fine." Kaos shook his head and stood up, "Ah, I should go talk to her, But..." he hesitated and looked back at the ledge, "I'll... wait. She needs to cool down first." he sighed and leaned against the the house..."So much for doing the gardening... Looks like someone beat me to it."

"That would have been SalSoon, she caught me up with the vague details of what happened at the wedding. Told me not to get Akuma all riled, and left to go rescue Quannah from someone named Elenath." Yuma took his hand; "Why don't we just go for a walk, I haven't been airwalking in awhile, and you could use the fresh air."
