Kyo dropped to one knee.. His breaths coming short and ragged. he was exhausted. What was that? Definitely not something within the battle equilibrium, but that meant he had pushed him to do it. He hoped it meant he had done well. He was barely able to hold his sword, "W-what was that?" he asked between pants

The darkness did not answer as Kasen stood inside it and it was coming closer to Kyo, inviting him into the dark area that was Kasen's specialty. Kasen however was using this to regain his breath, a bad move for Kyo if this was a real battle.

Kyo watched as the darkness drifted towards him. I wonder what that is, I have a bad feeling about it. it absorbed both my bakudo and my hado. Kasen seems to have jumped into it. Is this one of his swords ability? Probably a bad idea to enter it. Kyo stood slowly and took his stance. He jumped back and way from the darkness, and waited to see what would happen

Kasen didn't like the fact that the darkness haven't absorbed Kyo yet, and the hard part was that the darkness robbed Kasen of his senses while in it, so he decided to absorb the reiatsu he unleashed back into him. The darkness receded with Kasen standing with his strength back. "Missed me?" He asked jokingly.

Kyo watched as the Darkness vanished and Kasen stood in his place. "What was that?" he asked. He needed a cigarette badly, but he couldnt let his guard down.

"That was Kaosuyu, or Chaos Arrow, it is one of the special abilities of my zanpakuto, and is one of the few abilities it gives me outside of shikai." Kasen explained as he stood there and simply said ,"Do you want a break, remember I'm not doing this for myself, but for you."

Kyo stared in wonder before his eyes narrowed and he nodded, "just a few minutes and i'll have my second wind." he said slowly, and more evenly.

Kasen sat down on the dusty ground and leaned back a bit just lying there waiting for Kyo to be finished and get ready.

Kyo kneeled on the ground as he watched Kasen. "Sir are you not the 3rd seated officer of this squad? May i ask how long you have been a Shinigami?" he was curious, and determined to take his spot as the 3rd seat one day.

Kasen stood up and dusted his clothes and said ,"Yes, and how long?" Kasen asked himself thinking for a second and said ,"Four years, its been four years since I became a shinigami and entered this squad... Three years ago, the former 3rd seat left and I became his replacement." Kasen said as he looked back at his time so far, and how far he has gone himself.

Kyo nodded, Four years huh? Pretty far in a short amount of time. I'll have to work hard if i want to beat him one day He stood. "I'm ready to go again."

"Very well..." Kasen said as he unsheathed his blade and stood there. "You have not seen the worst that I can do, nor the weakest power that I have unleashed, so the question is, what can you do to pass my power that wasn't even shown to you yet?" Kasen asked as Kyo had not yet recognized his predicament.

Kyo held Kasen's gaze, giving no quarter. What have i got myself into? Oh well do late to do anything about it now. This should be fun. He thought as he ran towards Kasen. "Geki!" Red light began to form around Kasen. Kyo attacked with both his sword and sheath, The blade going for Kasen's throat as the sheath sped towards his stomach.

Kasen was paralyzed as he couldn't move as he tried to move. He had no choice but to show Kyo why the squad's symbol or specialties are wolves. Kasen growled as the red beam of reiatsu surrounding him was breaking as Kasen's fangs were growing, his fingers were turning into claws, his hair growing into a furry body, his feet into paws, as his form changed with his body feeling wonderful, the change, the transformation as he became a werewolf. Kasen roared as he broke the kido and jumped up over the attacks and kicked at Kyo's head. This is the power of Evil-sama, the gift of being a half-werewolf, his loyalty rewarded that could be taken away if he should ever use it irresponsibility.

Kyo saw the transformation take place, and how it broke his bakudo. he dropped to a crouch, barely dodging the kick to the head from Kasen in his werewolf form. What the hell? hes a werewolf? He thought as he turned to face Kasen once more.
