Cori met his eyes as they stopped, a faint smile forming at his then dissapearing just as quickly as he spoke. She was smiling as she pulled back from the kiss gently. "How is it that you aren't aging though? Do you know how long it'll last?" she asked, now simply curious. She couldn't remember having ever met someone with that particular ability, or curse as some would think it. Especially because his sister was affected too.

Vadász let a faint smile remain upon his lips at her question, not letting his shame flash across his face. "I have no idea how long it will last." He replied, knowing she would realize he had skipped over her first question. He began to walk again, standing tall, his wine colored hair flashing in the sun. He would rather not go into what he had been like during that time.

Cori stayed where she was for a moment, watching him. She mentally smacked herself in the forhead, wishing she wouldn't keep bringing up things he obviously didn't want to remember, or share for that matter. She went after him, pushing thoughts of Eve from her mind and carefully guarding her emotions from him.

Vadász slipped an arm around her shoulders gently, rubbing the top of her arm in the slightest. "It's alright... I'm just not ready to tell yet." He murmured, knowing that she would probably be smacking herself mentally. He didn't question when he felt the lack of emotions coming from her, guessing that she didn't want him to see and feel. If that was her protocol, then it was hers to choose. He often wished he could be able to block out what people were feeling so they wouldn't overwhelm him.

Cori nodded faintly, glancing up to him. "You can tell, can't you? When I try to hide it?" she asked softly, somewhat randomly. She just had a feeling he did, that he'd noticed and just didn't comment. She softly explained without waiting for the 'yes' she knew was coming. It was only logical, after all. If he could feel her emotions, he could feel the lack as well. "I've just always hid it, not wanting anyone to ever see me even slightly upset, troubled. Anything. It's just, habit now, in a way. Not showing anything to everyone else, no matter what's happened." she murmured, gaze dropping to where they were going.

Vadász lowered his gaze to her, tilting his head a little at her question. He simply nodded, hearing her begin to explain even if he wasn't going to ask her to. "It's fine Cori, but it's not necessarily healthy." He looked up to where they were going, brushing his hair back with a light sigh. "You are still upset about Eve's passing." He said softly, his eyes showing understanding to what she had explained. But she was focused on the path ahead so he returned his gaze there as well.

"Need I remind you how many things people do that aren't healthy?" Cori asked dryly, before he mentioned Eve. She didn't say anything for a moment, unconsiously slowing her pace, though not by much. "She might has well have been my sister, at least when we were little. Always hoped that she was just being pessimistic when she said she would die, wouldn't let myself believe that it could actually happen." she murmured, an elven phrase slipping out on her breath. Let go. She had to, she wouldn't force it upon Eve, even if the princess hadn't believed as she did.

Vadász withheld a chuckle at that, she was right. Himself included in that regard. He watched her then, tilting his head a little as he matched her pace. He grimaced a little, the arm around her shoulders giving a gentle squeeze as his hand then rubbed her arm. "I'm sorry..." He whispered, kissing her forehead gently. He wasn't sure what he could say, he kept remembering what Priya always told him out of the blue as if she knew he needed her to say it to feel better. Never did she blame him for what had happened. His gaze was a bit worried as he looked down to her, unsure of even an emotion he could let her feel to help.

Cori looked up to him, a corner of her lips lifting slightly in a faint smile. She rested her head lightly against his shoulder, the smile fading. "Thank you..." she murmured, before her eyes flickerd back up to him. "Don't go and start worrying, I'll be fine. Just gimme a day." she said softly, unable to keep from smiling faintly as she kissed him gently, almost as though to reassure them both of that.

Vadász blinked a little as he felt her head on his shoulder, his expression softening as a faint smile rose to his lips as well. He nodded once, chuckling a little as the smile widened. "You know I can't help it." He murmured, kissing her tenderly in return, deepening it slightly before he pulled away, nuzzling her gently.

"Then figure out a way how to." Cori said teasingly with a grin, as though it were the most obvious and easiest thing in the world. She pushed all other thoughts away, something she'd learned to do when she was little. Some thought her bipolar, because she could be sobbing then teasing someone, but she'd only learned to distract herself, usually by sarcasm or something similar.

Vadász laughed as he mocked a cringe, grinning to her. "Oh but you ask the impossible sweet maiden!" His laughter boomed a little louder than intended, but he didn't care. Raising an eyebrow, he quite suddenly scooped her up into his arms bridal style, his wings spreading so they were soon in the air. He held her gently, speeding them through the trees while avoiding them at the same time, chuckling as he looked down to her. "If I could not be allowed to worry, what shall I ever do?" He faked a rather dramatic expression, one hand motioning as if to press against the back of his forehead, but he didn't since he didn't want to lose his grip on her. It was his aim to make her laugh, since, after all, laughter was the greatest medicine. He didn't seem to care that he acted rather girlish sometimes, possibly now.

Cori did laugh, her arms around his neck as soon as he picked her up. "Sing my praises and worship me?" she offered with a grin, trusting that her horse would find her way. She usually did, and she knew how to follow a path.

Vadász smiled softly at his success, he did love to see her smile. His laugh rumbled in his chest as his wings flapped hard against the air. "Don't I do that already?" He winked to her, smirking as he stole another kiss from her, chuckling as he watched her horse follow after at her own pace.

Cori smirked, moving her face closer to his without blinding him to where he was going. "Of course you do, and very well." she said, lips just away from his after kissing him teasingly. "But not nearly well enough." she added, eyes dancing.
