What is she doing? I believe she's hugging you. Why did she call me you? She has yet to comprehend what a werewolf is completely, or at least I have yet to explain it to her properly. What should I do? That depends on if you want her to leave. She smells nice....no I would like her to stay. Then ask her if she would like feel the wind in her hair, as you feel the wind in your fur. Yes...that sounds like a....good idea.

I growled a bit trying to understand the thing he called a hug. "Wo....woul...would...you......lik......like.....to.....fl....fly?" I said remembering when Joshua once decribed my running like flying.

Bethany pulled back a little bit, glad that he had not asked her to leave. "Fly?" she asked, furrowing her brows for a moment to try and understand. "You mean run? With you? I... I would be honored." she said as she slowly stood up, slowly removing her hands from his fur.

She said yes. So I heard, what are you waiting for? How do human females like to be picked up? I'm not sure, why not go with what feels natural? Alright, let's try this.

I turned my back to the female and crouched down to where she could climb on my back. "H...hold....o..on....ti...ti..tight." I said looking over my furred shoulder.

Bethany nodded and climbed onto his back, trying to wrap her legs around him without haurting him, and held onto his fur with her hands. Her pulse raced with excitement as she grinned. "Okay..." she said with a nervous giggle as she leaned forward a little bit to help ehr keep her balance as she sat on his back.

I jumped lightly to test if she was holding on tightly. "Here....w.we.....go." I said and sped off. Be careful not hurt her, other than that show her what a wolf can do. I grinned with the human shell's blessing.

Without any restrictions on my speed I ran. Trees appearing before me as if out of nothing, me dodging them with heartstopping speed. Feeling the wind in my fur, the added weight of the human female on my back. I let out a howl that only added fuel to my inner fire. This was almost as fun as the hunt!

At first, the sudden rush of speed startled Beth, and her heart leaped up into her throat. However, it didn't take long for her to enjoy the exhillerating feeling, like riding a super-fast rollercoaster, and even though her heart was racing as she had to dodge tree limbs that they seemed to fly out at her, she couldn't help but laugh with glee and she held on for dear life.

I could barely hear her laughter over the rushing wind in my ears. I looked ahead and I could see a small chasm just outside forest and knew I could easily make the jump. I changed our course slightly and within seconds we were outside the forest.

Dropping to all fours as I ran across the field toward the chasm I said behind me. "Th...this.....is.....wha....what....he....ca...ca...called......flying." and with those words I increased my pace and jumped as high and far as I could over the chasm.

Bethany gave a small yelp as they leaped over the chasm, laying down fully on the wolf as she closed her eyes, hanging on even tighter. Her pulse beat so fast and so hard it felt like it was the only thing she could hear as she held her breath. Even with the fear of not making the jump, she was still just as excited as when they had started the run.

I landed with a thud and stopped running. Looking into the chasm I saw a herd of deer grazing near a small pond. It took all my will not to run and jump down into the chasm; but I knew if I did that the human female would surely die. I crouched so that she could climb off my back. As I waited I looked at the moon and howled again, thanking the mistress for a pleasent run. "How....d...di...did....yo...you...lik...like..it?" I asked. I would have to ask my human shell to teach me to speak the human tongue, instead of going off from memory of what he says.

Bethany slid off the wolf, her hair wild and tangled from the run. She grinned at the lycan. "That... was amazing..." she said in a breathless sigh as she looked back over the chasm, while trying to catch her breath and slow her rapidly beating heart.

I nodded my head at her appraisel. Thank you for showing her that not all our kind is evil. She was entertaining. Looking down at her I could feel the hunger from such a run begin to make it's self known in me. I looked back down at the chasm and noticed the herd must have bolted when I howled. "You....sh...should....go....home." I said trying to keep my hunger in check and wait until she was gone to go back to my hunt.

Bethany nodded as she ran along the chasm, looking for a place to cross back over so she could get home. She looked down at her watch and was amazed that it was only about three hours until sunrise. However, the glance caused her to stumble, and she winced as pain rain up her leg from her right ankle. She bit her lip and slowed down to a half-way limping walk until she reached the end of the chasm, and started walking in the direction she though would lead her out of the forest and back home.

I noticed her stumble and begin to limp. Sighing I decided my meal would have to wait. I easily caught up with her and picked her up in my arms. It felt like holding a child. "Hold on." I said and was amazed I didn't have to try to grasp the words, perhaps I was learning the language. With her in my arms I began to run allowing the human shell to direct me. It felt good to have her in my arms, she gave a warmth that I couldn't explain. It's called body heat. My human shell's voice broke through my thoughts and actually surprised me.

Bethany gasped as she was picked up, but offered no fight to get out of his grasp as he carried her. Instead, She snuggled her face against his fur-covered chest, inhaling his warm, earthy scent. Even though she should be scared, she wasn't at all. It just felt... right. She slid her arms around his neck, trusting him fully to carry her home safely.

The hunger was over bearing now and I had to put her down unless, she became my lunch. Luckily we were near her house. When we made it to her house I set her down on her feet trying to be as gentle as I could about her injured leg. "Food." I said as I bounded off again back towards the forest praying to the mistress that I not see any humans on the way.
