Operations immediately began to be rounded up, and every able soldier was loaded up with supplies. Warthogs, Scorpions, and Mongooses were all loaded up into the Unyielding Reverence along with as much supplies and ammo that could be stored. Commander Hammer stood next to the drop ship that would take him and the last few on the outpost up into the ship. They were really going after the b*****d; it was revenge. "Winter! On me!" called the Commander as he gripped his MA6B Pulse Action Assault Rifle and stepped up onto the foreign drop ship. The wobbled for a moment before the weight was compensated, a steadier hum coming from within it's circuits.

"Yes sir!" Winter replied to the Commanders call, moving through the throng of men moving boxes, equipment, and vehicles he came to him. Clutching his sniper in hand, SMG dandling at his side. "Glad we are finally getting this b*****d?" He said happily, rifle clutched in happy hands. Not excited in the bad way. No careless. Still like the soldier he should be. "Of course you are. But.. Finally. Its like a load has been lifted off my chest. Revenge."

Sergeant Lukin hopped up and twirled his index finger in the air to his boys. He looked to Lipton. "Sir, I'm from the old city of Phoenix, in Arizona on earth. Its been a nice chat, sir, I hope to fight right next to you on the battlefield. If you ever need reinforcements or just another tough squad, you can call on me, sir." With one last smile, Hudson slipped on his customized Marine-pilot helmet and led his squad to the mammoth covenant ship, Unyielding Reverance. The purple-blue glow shone before them and the stepped forward. A strange pulling feeling creeped over him as he was lifted up into the ship.

He wasn't a pilot or anything, but he like the feel of the pilot helmet. It also served as a substitute "Spartan helmet" with HUD and a com-link in what used to be the breathing part.

As Hudson scanned the inside of the ship, his jaw dropped. The neon techno-tubes that routed throughout the ship amazed him. Elites walked to and fro around him, tending to their equipment and vehicles. The Sergeant simply found a comfortable spot near some marines and sat down, waiting for his orders.

The drop ship lifted off the deck, and Hammer gripped the edge of the compartment bay. They were finally on their way, Elites and Humans working in unison against a common enemy; the Covenant. Together the Elite Commander and he would organize groups. Whether or not the Elite would go into combat was one thing, but Michael always preferred to join his men in combat. He would never order them to do a job that he himself wouldn't do. "Winter, you're with me on this operation. You leave my side I'll leave you with a court martial, understood?"

Winter raised a brow behind his helm, a nod. "Yes sir. Even if it means dragging you over my shoulder." It meant a lot for Winter to say such a thing. It wasn't that his respect was taken highly. It was that it was simply rarely given. Very few received respect. Many who were respected did not have his. The Commander was one of them. Never sitting back in some chair watching his soldiers die. Instead he went to the front lines. He knew how this war was. Not some old man thinking of the old days of war.

Lipton was on the last shipment of men and supplies up the grav-lift. He had lagged to ensure that nothing was left behind. He hadn't found anything interesting aside from a few cheap porn magazines and some old cans of contraband beer. Riding on a grav-lift was always an interesting experience. He supposed the Elites were used to the nausea by now.

Anso stood with the human commander in the Phantom's troop bay. His strike team had already returned to the ship to inform the Ship Master that humans would be joining them. The drop ship left the ground and rose in a slow circle until it settled in the Unyielding Reverence's starboard shuttle bay.

As he and the humans disembarked he was pinged by the ship's Battlenet. He paused and turned to the human commander.

"Human, our Ship Master wishes to meet you. Follow me."

Technologically speaking, humanity was at least two hundred years behind the Covenant. The ship functioned perfectly. There was a pause but the streams of symbols moving across the bulkheads translated into English characters when he walked near. The ship had integrated human speech into their translation programs. Any orders that pertained to him would be brought to him directly. Simply amazing.

Michael turned to look at the Elite, "very well then." One quick glance back at Winter and he would be off. "Do something useful while I'm gone. I'll page you when we're finished." With that Hammer turned to the elite and gestured on, "let's go meet this Ship Master of yours."

Lukin checked his BR55 with a delicate touch. As he inspected each piece of his equipment carefully, the Sergeant began thinking of a tactic he and his men would use. Whatever the challenge, they would be ready.

"Yes sir." With that he turned around in the ship, so many hallways, so many places to look at. Where first? Yes.. That was the question.

[James A. Mitchell]

James stood in, what seemed to be a hanger, with Fireteam Delta. They performed various weapons checks, a little repairs here and there but it was largely boring work. Mitchell wondered what the Ark would be like, a couple of marines made jokes here, but it was all the same question. When and what whould happen when they got there? James didn't have an answer for whoever asked that question, for he was asking himself the same.

James was constantly unsure of trusting the Elites, they slaughtered his friends, his family, and his fellow marines. He just didn't buy the whole "We saw the prophets for what they really were" thing. Mitchell checked his MA5C and sat down on a crate of ammo.

Anso nodded to the human commander and started down the corridor to the command center. The holographic streams of information across the bulkheads led him directly to the door of the Command Center. Ewsa 'Lrdos stood on the raised command platform staring at the holographic displays. The Ship Master's golden armor shined in the artificial light. He wore the Sangheili equivalent of a human smile as the Flood infested land was burned by their ship. He turned to the two warriors and saluted.

Anso returned the salute and stepped back. He watched as the Sangheili commander stepped off of the raised platform and walked slowly to the human. The Elite was taller than Anso by an inch, which meant he towered above the human.

"Welcome to Unyielding Reverence human. I am Ship Master of this vessel and you may address my as such. I have received word from Shadow of Intent that your Admiral Hood has allowed a small contingent of humans to accompany us through the portal. Your Spartan is among them. Their objective will be Truth, as is ours. Though should another task come about we may be called upon to fulfil that role."

As soon as Ari heard the call for A-Company, he gestured his men to follow, and started heading out to the hangar area, as well as everyone else, it became quite crowded in the corridors, men busily going about their business, and others just making their way to the hangar area, same as Ari. Eventually, after a little trip that should have taken 2 minutes, ended up taking 10, Ari's team made it to the hangar, and he saw the massive covenant ship, with it's brilliant purple shaded color, and the obvious battle marks that told stories, saying that this ship had has been in many battles, and it can still stand more.

Ari quickly ordered his men to start help bringing things into the ship, and he made 4 trips back and fourth before the supplies were almost all on the ship, and Fox Hole 2 was just about ready to be departed from.

Anthony looked around the odd looking flightbay and sighed heavily. This was going to be one hell of a day. He turned to the Staff Sergeant, a guy named Howard Haber who he named as his XO for the time being, of 1st and 2nd platoon.

"Haber, get the units to circle around me. I need a pep talk." He said.
The Staff sergeant nodded, saluted, and went onto his business.

In less than a minute, 1st platoon, and 2nd platoon were scattered around the ammo crate he sat on. He stood on top of it.

"Alright boys listen up. We're heading into that 'son of a b***h' hole. When we get in there, and go to where ever the hell we're going, and then we're gonna take our standard issue boots and shove em up that prophets a**!"

He heard a scattered laughter and a HOORAH! From the crowd.

"You know what, EVERYONE!" he shouted to the entire bay. "Everyone from every company from every platoon, come here, gather around!"

More people rallied to the CWO's call.

"WHO ARE ALL OF YOU!?" He shouted into the crowd.

"UNSCMC!" They shouted back

"WHAT DO WE DO!?"

"KILL EM LOW AND HANG EM HIGH!"

He had a satisfactory feeling. A new feeling of morale. He was ready to jump into hell, feet first.

"REMEMBER! That each and every one of you, have the power to make the difference of this war. Look at where we are now! THIS IS OUR LAST STAND! We're gonna take our rifles and plunge em down the throats of those monkey bastards, then we're gonna boot em off a cliff!"

He looked into the crowd, saw all of his men, and smiled.

"You all are the finest sons a bitches I have ever had the pleasure of fightin with. All of you know what it takes to be a Marine. And I hope to god I never serve with a more finer company, NO! A FINER GROUP OF MARINES, SO HELP ME GOD! YOU ALL ARE WHAT MAKE THE CORPS! YOU ALL KNOW WHAT YOU DUTY IS... DISMISSED!"

An overwhelming HOORAH and a cheer from the crowd, and a mixture of tossing boonies gave Karr the feeling he needed. He was ready.

Bring em on. He thought, as the waves of arms patted him on the back as he walked away from his podium.

He walked. The black phantom. SMG swung haphazardly around his bulging armored soldiers. Upgrades had been slowly added as time went by and ship times grew less often so did the builds. In this ship technology.. Would there be an elite shield? Just one. Just one to tinker with and perhaps build into his own armor. Like the Spartan armor worn by Demon as the Covenant called him. Or Master Chief. This man he had seen. Strong and towering with other elites in his armored suit. The forerunner of the war for humanity. Now the war of elites and humans alike. Now it seemed they were closing to the end. That man, the Chief would be the hero. Not him and Winter was comfortable with that end. Enjoying the last of life. Quiet and a lady wrapped around his arms.

The ship was large. Large was actually to small of a word. Gargantuan? The word seemed more appropriate. Sarah was easily amused by this technology commenting and leading into places many other soldiers didn't. Small tubes running the length of the ship. Falling familiar symbols. Ones he knew and could read. Even the language of the Covenant he understood even though he could not speak. It was an art he had tried to follow. The study of the Covenant.

"Understood, Ship Master. My men and I are prepared to undergo operations such as this." The Commander shuffled his feet a little bit looking up at the Sangheili, "this tier of the human race is ready, and behind you all the way."
