People who say that killing the fetus is a side effect to abortion.
That's the bloody PURPOSE of abortion.
Why don't people call a spade a spade?
Jeezum Crow. Not wanting to own up to the fact of what they are actually doing mabey? I don't know I'm not pro-choice I don't speak for them. There is one sort of case I can think of where saying that a fetal death is a side effect of a procedure, but the procedure isn't abortion, the procedure ends up causing an abortion even though the intent was not to do so...say a lifesaving procedure for the mother where there is a risk that abortion will happen. But As you say, abortion IS the death of the fetus, so if people mean that, they're mis-wording it. In this case, abortion is a "side effect" of the procedure. But going to an abortion clinic never leaves you with abortion being the side effect of a procedure. It leaves you with abortion being the procedure.

Some people really DO mean it the way they say it, but...they're the hardcore religious followers of choice. It's like people who're prolife that say that girls brought rape on themselves. It's ignoring a whole side of reason and clinging to it desperately.
I'm prolife, but I know that a lot of people who're prochoice aren't idiots. That's of course much more credit than I get from almost all of the ones I know sweatdrop

And you're right there are a lot of pro-choice people that are very smart like Mcphee for example.

Sad, but that's their thought pattern. At least, some of them.
Some are really nice. I just wish they wouldn't judge pro-life people before they get to know them.

I actually feel legal abortion is an insult to women. Know what it says to me?
"You aren't strong enough to handle this, so we're giving you the right to kill your child, even though no one else has that right."
The slogan "my body, my choice," comes off as my body is worth more than a person. I place a lower value on my body. Treating it like it's more important than a person just feels like I'm objectifying myself.
Then again, "Adoption not abortion," Irks me since a lot of people say it not knowing how bad the adoption system is. Why would anyone want to put a child into that? I can definitely see why people who feel that a fetus isn't a person feel it's kinder to abort rather than bring that life into that hell, but...I disagree with it strongly.

Baseball rox heart Baseball and soccer are the only sports I've ever played as a team... I like to play American football casually with friends, but I haven't in a long, long time. And I really don't like to watch many sports at all... I guess Football's OK on the TV, and baseball I kinda enjoy on TV, but I've never been a screaming fanatic... XP And I have never really enjoyed going to stadiums, but that might be because I'm in Texas, and it's always freaking hot when we go. XD

karllikespies Soccer is defenitely my favorite sport, but I really don't like to watch any sport on tv. Going to the stadiums is fun though. I prefer martial arts to sports, but then again martial arts could be considered a sport. As far as martial arts goes, it depends for me... I like doing martial arts, when it's with a teacher who's not too hard on me, and I'm pretty good, I like to think. And I really like to watch them, when they're really doing martial arts, and it's not just dramatic stuff, you know? Like a local Tae Kwan Do acadamy kinda annoyed me because they were doing things like putting shiny tape on their bowstaffs, and such, to draw attention to them during the demonstration. And that seems so fake to me. I mean, the academy's Demo Team is genuinely good, and I don't think they need flashy stuff like that to make them look good. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think messing with weapons to make them flashy is something you do to draw attention away from the fact that you can't really use the weapons. And I don't think it's as cool to watch that sort of demo.
