Imerius smiled and left the room. He put an arm around James shoulder in a brotherly way. "Now you see the truth of the world, young one." He was going to say more when his PDA beeped. He pulled up. There were some news updates. Tears began to well up in the eyes that were dry a moment before. He sat down and banged his head against the wall. "Saya...Ryuk." The second name came out in a low menacing growl.

James like any good christian, forgot his trouble to help another."What's wrong Imerius?"He asked he didn't sound as he had before.he had a very depressed voice.His world was turned upside down.

Imerius sighed. "A good friend of mine has recently died. We lived together for a while in a nest. There were tons of us there. I know there was a demon, a real demon after her. The demon killed an agent. He kidnapped my friend Niccea. I managed to lead a batallion of Gifted and drove him off before he could have his way with her." He sighed. "Sorry for unloading my troubles onto you, James."

"I'm used to it."James sighed.He may not have known Saya, but he could feel the sadness and anger emitting from Imerius. James bowed his head in prayer.He was praying for Saya, yes.But also peace, and the forgiveness of all the demons... no... gifted.

Death held up the dagger that was in his cannon before his flung it at the wall, burying the blade clompletely. "Na, Im good right now, I can run 15 years at 10% power if I dont use my energy weapons... though Im sure I'll be using them soon, now if you'll excuse me.. " he plugged up a wire to his broken cannon and it started to mend itself, a clsoer inspection of the microscopic level would reveal nano-probes. "shut your systems offline and I'll start on your patchjob.."

"My creator didn't trust anyone to mess with my innards while I couldn't do anything. In other words, I have no shut down program. all I can do is shut of my pain indicators... will that be sufficient?"He asked. He watched his cannon carefully."Interesting."He said.

myria silently cursed agian. She still couldn't find anything that she recognized from the last time she had been here, she wondered how in the world she had gotten so lost. The alarms were beginning to annoy her, and she wished she knew where they were coming from so she could silence them

"not quite, i need all functions set off, otherwise my tamperings might set off a chain reaction with your power supply, either I can remove it and shut you down manually after transferring your AI into a spare temporary body so you can observe my actions, or you shut off all functions possible except your optic sensors and audio devices.." He noticed Omni looking at the cannon "I might give you one after I upgrade your body to hold up against the recoil."

I can supply minimal energy, from there you must do a manual shut down. Oh and you will see that I am fairly basic other than my power source which is in my stomach."He said knocking on his stomach and making a tin sound.Where would you like me to shut down?" He asked.

Death looked around the room "just lay on the ground I guess... I dont see anything in the room you could lay on.... I'll have whats his name supply me with supplies for this room.."

Omni lay down and limited his energy flow. His body now felt heavy to him. If the operation took more than an hour after he was completely shut down, a primitive back-up power supply would kick in.
