Hey! My name is Sid. I've tried to teach myself Japanese a few times before, but it's been a failure. Where I live there aren't any classes for Japanese in middle school or high school so I probably can't take classes until college (in 4 more years!!!). I really wanna learn though! gonk
It would be quite useful when I watch Japanese dramas, listen to Visual Kei, and maybe when I visit my friend in Japan so I won't have to be too dependent on her. Hopefully I'll learn a lot here! biggrin

Hey everyone. :3 I just joined the guild yesterday, so might as well, introduce myself. Um, I go by Tammy or Tamara(Tah-muh-rah, if any of you people wonder. o_o), whichever floats your boat. I've wanted to learn Japanese for awhile now, and my parents keep procrastinating my sign-up for classes. And not just Japanese classes. gonk
I guess my interest in Japan started when my friend attacked me with Japanese culture and anime. And my discovery of Vocaloid. whee I know a bit of Kanji Hiragana and Katakana and their syllabic sounds, but that's pretty much it. I can't understand Japanese. gonk
I look forward to meeting new people here, as well as learning some Japanese. Deng Mid/High school doesn't provide classes. stare Wow, I sure typed alot there. o_O

I read manga and watch anime alot,
And the Japanese culture is a beautiful thing and I would like to learn more about it.

Ello` I'm Sam, you can call me Ninja. I've been in to Japanese stuff since I was 13 (now 16) I'm in Japanese 2nd year in my school and I'm really into it. I ended with a 99% in the class. Woot^^ Well... C ya! ninja

Hello everyone, my name is Princess Zelda. I've been trying to learn Japanese on my own for about 4 years I think. I love reading manga and I enjoy watching anime. I've always wanted to learn how to speak, read and write in Japanese. Maybe someday I could be a translator or something, but who knows. I'm still having trouble getting the words mixed up when I try writing sentences. I honestly need some major improvement on that. Anyways, I am honored to be here in this amazing guild! Thank you miss Freakezette for letting me join! I honestly appreciate it! ^_^

I"m actually here with a somewhat greater purpose... A guy I really like that I've known for 5 years on messenger and we have talked fervently since meeting, he is japanese. He lives there and all that jazz. He speaks great English (hee I taught him.) when I met him he was speaking very little English, some Swedish and some Japanese. It was no cake walk, but fun. XD. (I didn't even really know I was teaching him till he let me know, like, a couple months ago @_@)..... Anywho, I want to go to japan and live there and stuff, but the language barrier and more (like the culture) are keeping me petrified in fear.
My name is Ichigo (NO. not from bleach. I was named that before then thank you. o_o)

I've been interested in Japanese culture for quite a while now, but only recently have I just began to try to pick up the language. Unfortunately, I don't think I will ever be able to speak any Japanese that I learn with anyone except here. My mom does not enjoy the fact that I have began to listen to and learn and become interested in this. But I'm so overjoyed that this guild was created, and we can all share our interests.

Hi everyone! I'm Monica and I'm fifteen at the moment.
I love practically everything Japanese. I really enjoy Japanese music, dramas, anime, manga, variety shows, and more.
I'm currently taking Japanese (one year of lessons so far) and went to Japan once over spring break.

Konnichiwa! Boku wa UchihaKyokoSatsuki81594 (Kyoko, Satsuki, or Kyky for short). Soshite, Nihongo gakusei desu.
Hehe. I'm not what people would call "otaku", but I do enjoy anime and manga. I'm a fan of Naruto (Shippuuden included), Rosario + Vampire, The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Azumanga Daioh, and Lucky Star. Currently, I'm working on translating (I'd much rather say "Nippon no Ongaku", honestly.) Japanese lyrics to improve vocabulary, so don't be surprised to see a bunch of questions reguarding etymology.
I also have a passion for the arts, being a musician and writer. Also, I'm Filipino (and proud!) - American.

That's all I can really think of to say in Japanese right now...my brain's fried from only 4 hours of sleep. ^_^;;;
Anyway, in English...
'sup, everyone! Y'all can call me Kai, Ichi, or Ichigo. Whichever works. ^_^ It's nice to meetcha! I've been self-teaching myself Japanese for 'bout a year or less. I've recently found a better cool Japanese book that uses manga to teach Japanese and such, and I think I learned a month's worth of things in a day. lol My Japanese friend moved back to Japan, so she's a little bit more motivation for me to learn Japanese. I mean, if I ever go to visit her, she can't be the only one able to speak two languages! wink I can speak a little bit of French -- my random fact. I love manga and anime and without it, I may not have even thought twice 'bout Japanese. I listen to a lot of J-music, whether it'd be pop, rock, visual kei, whichever. Feel free to talk to meh if you like because I don't bite. ^_^
