"We've been here for about a month or so I think... doesn't really seem like it's been that long, but I suppose it has..." Daire said as he sat down, he looked out over the water for a moment before turning back to Kimiko to ask "What about you..? How long have you been here...?"

Hu uh...Kimiko replied, shaking her head some as she looked to the sky. Not very long at all...Maybe about as long as you have. She nodded to herself, looking back to the boy. This is only my third time out though.

"Well, you're doing better that I've been... this is really the first time I've been out of our apartment building since we moved in..." Daire said as he leaned back on his hands some.

I see...Kimiko purred, making herself comfortable on the grass once more. But that could be a good thing! she chimed, giggling some. By staying close to where you sleep, it ensures you're comfortable with your surroundings. Cats do that...she offered, smiling brightly to Daire.

You don't seem to have bad social skills though! Kimiko offered, giggling some as she spoke, the sound giving her words a bit of flight. My boyfriend has really bad people skills sometimes...He doesn't like many things, and I don't think people is really one of them. She covered her mouth to giggle some more, shaking her head in thought.

At least you try? Kimiko offered in an almost nervous giggle, trying to keep her attention to Daire despite the odd feeling that someone she knew was nearby.
Shinji slunk amongst the trees, still concealed in the darkness that the leaves offered. He'd decided to head to the lake to clear his mind some before he went to see Lena, as truthfully, he wasn't sure what he should say to her. 'Sorry for standing you up!' or 'Yeah, it's been a while - sorry for disappearing!' just didn't seem right to him.

Having decided that it was about time that she quit her cleaning and get out for some fresh air, Lena chose to go for a nice walk by the lake. As she wasn't really expecting to see anyone plus the fact that it was mid-summer and rather warm outside, she wasn't dressed quite as she usually would be. She wore a rather frilly black skirt, a worn old band tank with a thin sweater over it, and some worn old sneakers that were nearly completely covered by a pair of legwarmers. She stuffed her hands in the pockets of her sweater as she started down the path toward the lake.

Kimiko sensed Lena's presence as well, and blushed softly as she looked to Daire. She didn't want it to seem obvious that she didn't quite hear what he'd said, but she knew that he probably knew. She cleared her throat and offered a bright smile, tilting her head some to him. So, Daire, where do you live here? She asked, trying to let the others' presences not bother her.
Shinji yawned some as he walked, letting his head fall back as he did so, his mouth very open. He shook his head as the yawn ended, attempting to shake the boredum from his mind so he could continue thinking about what to say to Lena. As he shook his head, he stumbled slightly, having tripped over a rather large tree root. Kuso...he muttered as he stumbled about, trying to catch his balance in the very dim light.

"I live with my sister in an apartment in this building that's kinda somewhere in the middle of the underground... it's a big grey brick building.." He said with a nod.
Lena wasn't particurlarly paying attention to anything as she walked along, she thought that she'd heard a few voices but she didn't bother to look up from the ground. She sang something under her breath as she walked,

Ooooh - I kind of live in an apartment, but it's kinda private. My momma put it near downtown for my brothers and sisters and herself and me. She giggled some and bounced on her feet, pausing to glance over her shoulder as Shinji cursed to himself. She shook her head and looked back to Daire, smiling brightly still. Do lots of people live there?
Shinji continued to mutter to himself as he rest against a tree. He'd hurt himself as he tripped, but didn't feel like using his powers to fix it.

Lena smiled slightly when she thought she felt Shinji's presence, she stood still and quiet as she looked around for a moment before she noticed someone moving, over near the trees. She stayed quiet as she changed directions, moving toward where she thought she saw someone moving.

ooooh. That's good though - overcrowdedness is never any fun. I think that's why Momma made our house so big! Kimiko quipped, gesturing to the sides with her arms. You could come see it if you want! She giggled, clasping her hands behind her back once again.
Shinji shifted closer to where he could fell Lena, and before she knew it, Shinji wrapped his arms warmly around her and kissed her neck. I knew tonight was a good night to be out...he said softly, smiling as he held her close.

"Mmm... maybe some other time.." Daire said after shifting to look at his pocket watch "It's getting rather late, I probably ought to be getting home to make sure Kat's alright..."
"I guess so.." Lena smiled and wrapped her arms around Shinji, looking up at him as she said "I've missed you..."
