Jordyn sighs slightly, getting to the counter and ordering three dinners before saying softly to Akio, "She said... well it's hard to translate it.... but basically to the effect of... she said she would rather be dead naturally than hooked up to everything.... They have this arguement everytime they see each other.... sickle cell anemia is a disease thats treatable if you go to the hospital.... and all she wants is to live naturally like the ancients... even if it means dying... Isaac had a nurse hired a few years back to stay with her and make sure she takes her medicine.... Its an ongoing fight..." His jaw was clenching again. He gathers the treys of slightly lukewarm looking chicken and vegetables before murmuring, "Don't tell Isaac I told you... he'd kill me... but you should probably know that... that she's tried for suicide a few times because of her disease... so she won't have to go to the hospital... The reason why Isaac left was to get away from it... he's been taking care of her for so long..."

I tear rolled down his cheek and landed on his hand before he wiped away the other tears that threatened to fall. "That terrible... why would anyone want to give up on life when there's a cure...?" He nodded when Jordyn told him not to tell. He'd never tell. But Isaac would probably figure it out sooner or later. Somehow, he seemed to be able to read Akio better than anyone else, except perhaps Kyo.

Isaac had chosen a table by a window, his back facing to the cafeteria food lines. He looks out the window out at the beautiful courtyard covered in snow. He sniffles slightly, trying not to let more tears fall, every once in a while, swatting his hand up to wipe away a few tears, as quick as possible. He alwaysfelt so uncomfotable shedding tears in public, but they wouldn't really stop. He finally had them under control by the time Jordyn and Akio were approaching. His blue eyes brightened by recent tears and the whites of his eyes totally bloodshot, he glances up to them, before turning his eyes back to the woodgrain of the table. Jordyn sits down across from him, knowing that it would be best is Akio sat beside Isaac. Not only for the comfort of closeness, but lso because Isaac could sheild his face with his hair from the side, which he would probably do. It was best for both of them. Jordyn slides Isaac's trey across the table to him. Isaac picks up the drink, taking a long sip, hoping that swallowing something would help to push down the lump still hanging in his throat. Jordyn coughs, trying to find a safe subject and finally managing to squeak out, "News reports said that the whole city's power is down, so I guess we can be thankful to be here... with a warm meal because of generators..."

Akio nodded dumbly. He looked at the food. He wasn't hungry, but he wanted something to do. He couldn't see Isaac's face, and he was about to reach out for some food before his cell phone rang. He blinked. Only three people had his cell number... "H-hold on..." He looked rather shaken. It must be ergent. But it might just be asking if he was okay... after all, at least one of them might have head about the power outage... He got up and opened his phone so he could talk into it, but walked to a deserted corner so no one could hear what he said. "H-hello? Mum...? Yes, I'm fine, yes- WHAT?!?" His eyes were wide from shock and he dropped his phone. It clattered rather loudly on the floor and he scrammbled to pick it up. When he finally managed, he put it back to his ear, heart hammering. He didn't get up. "What? Sorry, dropped the phone. Yes.... no, I'm fine, no... No, it's okay, really. I'll come as soon as I can... Bye." She closed his phone, shivering slightly, and placed it back in his pocket. He got up shakilly and walked back to the table on trembling legs. "S-sorry about that..."

((aww, cute avie!!)) Isaac blinks, finally looking up, for once not on the verge of tears for simple concern. He stands up, "Is everything ok?... Jordyn and I could give you a ride anywhere you need to go...."He reaches out, his hand touching Akio's trembling wrist. He noticed his own hands were shaky, but not like Akio's. He pulls in a slow breath before saying softly, "What's going on?"

"I-It's... I.... I can't really." He took a deep breath and sat down. "I need to leave as soon as I can... Because... because..." He didn't want to say it. saying would make it true and concrete, and then if it didn't happen... if they broke it off... then all his happiness would come crashing down... He didn't even know if it would make him happy. For all he knew, it could be hell or worse. "It's... Mum's... Mum's getting married... to... to my dad... She... he... He left her and he came back..." A tear rolled down his cheek. "He had to go... but... he's back. Mum never talked about him... ever... but..." He wiped away the tear and took a deep breath.

Isaac blinks, smiling a little bit, "I guess thats a good event then...." He looks to Jordyn but Jordyn is way ahead of him. He stands up, "I'm not even hungry anyways... I can drive you anywhere you want to go, Akio.." Isaac looks back to his young friend, "And I can go with you... I mean... if you want me to... Visiting hours aren't for another 6 hours anyways...." He smiles a small bit, trying to look happy and actually kind of glad to get his mind off things. Come to think about it, he had never heard Akio mention his father before... maybe he oculd meet both of Akio's parents...

"S-sure... if you want... and... thanks..." He said rather shakilly, replying to the offer to drive him. He didn't trust himself to drive at this point. "I... Mum might not like you... I think Dad was the only person she was ever truly happy with.... With everyone else she just looks... disapointed.... And I've never met Dad," he confessed. "I... don't know what he'll be like." He tried to smiled his usual smile, but failed. He was anxious and nervous about meeting his father. Afterall, he didn't know anything about him. His mother had never said more than a few words about him. He didn't even know his name.... Akio stood up and got away from the table, pushing his chair in.

Jordyn nods, leading them both out of the hospital towards the car. Isaac's mind was spinning, but he was conscious enough not to bump in to anything. So much was happening today, it seemed like a few days ago since he and Akio were in bed, but that was just this morning. He rubs his forehead against the growing migraine, his mind not knowing whether to be excited or nervous or sad or... Gods, he didn't know. He glances to Akio, knowing that the boy must have a lot more on his mind. Isaac sighs, it was strange enough now with his mother knowing his secret. She seemed fine with that.... She was always so lenient... about some things... His jaw tightens slightly, but only against his own thoughts. He opens the car door for Akio with a small smile, feeling slightly happy to meet his lover's parents no matter what they thought of him. He gets into the car as well while JOrdyn starts up the ignition. He actually slides into the backseat beside Akio, taking his hand in his own. He whispers, "Hey... I'm sorry.... my mother is very unpredictable.... she probably made you uncomfortable... and I'm sorry..."

"No... it's fine... She seems so... happy." He smiled. "You'll be shocked whe you meet my mum. I'd say your mum is a welcome change from mine." He almost laughed, but couldn't bring himself to it. His mind was too preocupied with thoughts about his father. He wondered what he'd be like and what it'd be like when they met. He handed a set of instructions to Jordyn and said, "I used these to get to school from home, so you'll have to go backwards from them, but it's better than nothing."
((Just a heads up, Akio has a twin. Not sure if it'll be a boy or a girl, but he has a twin. =3 ))

((Ookie. =3 I did all the designs for the family in my sketch book and I'll post them as soon as I go to my mom's (where the scanner is). Akio's twin is a girl.
Oh, and I looooove his sister, Yumi. =3 Heehee. She's so cute. She looks completely innocent and nice but she has a horrible temper n' stuff. She's a emi-famous cosplayer and a model. Actually, she's why he started modeling. She started in Lazzure's mom's company and became famous and had connections and got Akio into the business. I love drawing her... whee ))

Tsuma stepped up the ladder and leaned forward to reach for the book on the third shelf of books in the library. His long pale fingers ghosted over the spine of each book, trying to find the one he had planned on grabbing for a quick read. "No, no, no, nope," he mumbled softly to himself. "No, no, no...wait..." His fingers rewound and then stopped between the two thick books where his book was supposed to be. Not there.
Tsuma sighed, stepped off the ladder, and walked disappointedly out of the fiction section. Someone had taken his book again. He had been waiting for that book to return to the library for weeks. And now when the book had just returned, it was checked out again. Deciding it wasn't such a big loss since there was a stack of books still waiting to be read in his room, Tsuma quietly exited the library and headed for his dorm room.
The youth stopped in the middle of the hallway and groaned. He knew he had forgotten something and this time it was his backpack. He had left it in the library. He sighed and walked back to the library. Of all things he had to forget was his backpack that had all of his homework, two large textbooks that he was supposed to read, and a report that he had to finish typing. Grumbling, he slipped back into the library, picked up his backpack that was laying on a table in the far corner, and proceeded to once again make the journey back up to his room...after he checked he still had everything, including his favorite red pen that he had lost who knows how many times.

Lazzure was in the library. He brushed his long bangs out of his eyes to be able to read his book... he'd have to cut them later... He sighed and turned the page. It was a good book, but not really in line with what he prefurred to read. There was a backpack lying on the floor near him and he'd just gotten up to examin it when someone came and picked it up. "Is that yours?"

The 14-year-old almost jumped out of his skin when he heard the coy purring voice in his ears. "Er... y-yes, i-it's mine" He stuttered, trying to pick up the papers that had fallen out by him suddenly moving. Finally gathering his stuff together he re-checked all his work was inside his backpack but unfortunately his red pen was not there. So getting back on his hands and knees he began to search for it just incase it may have rolled under a table or so when he was jumped.
