Mello glanced at Kat's direction and nodded at her. She then faced Val with an expression that spoke of utmost seriousness. The childish aura that she usually emenated seemed to have disappeared. Now Mello was really being serious.
[Mello]
"Yes I am a Yang teacher but I am still allowed to roam freely here in Yin, seeing as I was a student here for some years..." *sighs* "I've seen your medical records and they've displayed constant signs of your sickness. If you tell me about it, I might find an antidote for it. Once I've heard everything from you, then I can see if I have a sufficient amount of data to see if an antidote is to be made. So, shall we start?"

Val frowned.
Is someone actually helping her with her sickness? Her family hardly tried to help her since her parents always cared for her brother more. Even if he was dead.
[Val]
*sighs*
"Fine."
*looks at Kat then at Mello*
"Heart problem. If I'm stressed, it feels as if it's clogged. Same goes for after vigorous activities. Lately though, even simple activities tire me out and that happens... Perhaps my heart muscle is just weak. I'm not sure if there's anything concerning my blood either... And mind you, there is no fat at all clogging my heart... I'm not sure if it really happened... But I think I had a stroke before."
*pauses and scratches chin thoughtfully*
"I'm not sure if it was a Ischemic stroke or a Hemorrhagic stroke."
*points at book she's reading*
"I'm reading on different heart diseases as well. Apparently, mine seems to be a mix of something since the doctors keep saying different heart diseases. There's Cardiomyopathy, Cardiovascular disease, Coronary heart disease, Heart failure, Hypertensive heart disease, Inflammatory heart disease, Valvular heart disease, Ischaemic heart disease..."
*frowns as she reads about Cardiomyopathy*
"... often at risk... and or possible even cardiac death..."
'It's not like it matters if I die or not.'

Mello furrowed her brows constantly as she took down notes on Val's sickness. After having scribbled down the last piece of information she analyzed the data a bit and nodded to herself. She looked at Val and analyzed her for a while.
She then nodded to herself for the umpteenth time of the day and glanced at Kat for a second.
[Mello]
"Thanks for the information Val. All of this is very interesting..."
*mumbles to self*
."..a mix of various heart diseases would definitely result to the creation of an entirely new kind of heart disease."
*smirks*
"Which means upon further evaluation of the subject, there's a 75% chance that I can find the cure."
*turns to Val again*
"For now, I'm going to give Kat a notebook where she can evaluate for, let's say, a week. Also, I'd recommend you to not tire yourself or get stressed...but you already knew that didn't you?"
*chuckles*
"Well, there isn't much I can do now but study what you have given me and then wait for Kat's evaluation in a week."
[OoC]
Out of her bag, Mello pulled out a black notebook and handed it to Kat. Rummaging through her bag again, she pulled out a thermos and poured herself a cup of what looked to be a slimy purple substance that fizzled and smelled like burnt toast. She heartily drank the "juice", as she called it, and poured two more cups and handed each to Kat and Val.
[Mello]
*grins*
"It's a health drink that I just recently made. It keeps you fit as a fiddle!"

Kat had been listening to the whole conversation and all the information almost hurt her head. She managed however and nodded to all that has been said.
Mello said she had to evaluate. Of course, this whole thing was Kat's idea so she had some work to do herself. Evaluate? How hard can that be?
Kat didn't think any further and left her thoughts once Mello placed a notebook and a cup (filled with some sort of liquid in it) in front of her.

*blinks*
"Eh?"
*sniffs this and wrinkles her nose*
"Health drink?"
*sniffs this a little more before licking and drinking*

So she was to be evaluated now, huh?

*stands and bows*
"Excuse me, but I'll be going to the music room for a while."
*walks away*
"Oh, and... I apologize for saying this but, no eating or drinking in the library..."

"I am immune. I go by the saying, 'Think about what you are to say before saying and smell what you are about to drink before drinking.' if that's even how it goes."
*shrugs*
"And she's right, no drinking in here. Let's go drink somewhere else, hm?"
*takes the cup by her mouth and slowly walks out of the library*

Mello pouted at Val telling her off about the no drinking rule. Of course she knew about the rule! She had spent half her school life buried beneath heaps of books in the library! She scowled at the empty seat Val occupied and stuck her tongue out to it.
Upon noticing Kat's departure she suddenly grabbed the cat, careful not to spill the drink, and skated out of the library and into the hallways.
[Mello]
"Nya! You're so slow Kat!! Let's go to the chem. lab.!!" *grins as she skates towards the chemistry laboratory*

Kat almost hissed at the sudden act but remembering she had something in her mouth she wasn't supposed to spill, she bit on the cup before calming down. Once she did, she glared slightly at Mello but couldn't say anything because, again, she was carrying a "juice" filled cup by mouth.
