Finally landing, she had to roll to avoid breaking a leg, or two. Glancing at Cross, she was about to walk toward her and help her up, when she spotted castle gates opening, and Zoel, Lord Dynas, and Sori walk in. "What the..." Quickly turning her head towards Cross, she was about to demand she faze them both up. But stopped herself, Cross looked drained and tired. "Dammit." Biting her lip she turned herself toward the gates and jogged toward it. "Sethias! Don't you dare leave me here!" Yelling at the top of her lungs, she hoped she'd caught his attention, hoping he'd bring her with them. No way in hell was she gonna miss anything this drastic.

Sethias stopped, though the others continued on he waited for Siri. "Everthing okay?" he was worried she may have been hurt or something. He noticed he was breathing hard and marked off as his body trying to catch his breathe from all the fighting.

Walking slowly behind the group, both hands on her pole which she had reverted back to normal in order to save up her power. She couldn't exactly do much but transform her weapon. She stayed quiet, just following them in. Cross knew that if she couldn't do much, that she shouldn't say anything. Keeping her weapon down, she felt her body tense when she walked in, but couldn't help but smile when she heard Siri. I can't be a burden she reminded herself, her ears staying only halfway down to listen for anything.

Frowning, she walked up to him and pointed a finger straight at him. "Don't, ever leave me behind." Her voice faltered a bit, and she lowered her arm, "okay?" Looking back up she smiled, and continued forward, jogging a bit to catch up with Cross. Glancing back, she motioned for him to hurry up. Clenching her shoulder once again, the bleeding had subsided but the pain still resonated. Taking in a deep breath, she entered the doors, darkness engulfing her.

Zoel eyes narrowed to catch every hint of light in the hall they were walking down as he saw something scurry past. "S**t what was that." His body tensed and his fur stood on end.
Sori saw it too and his body became more relaxed. Everyone who knew him long would recongnized his relaxed demeanor meant totally viseversa. He was prepared to fight, just like a snake coiled up ready strike that was his counterpart.
"Sethias why don't you come up to the front here and give us some light." It was really a question as it was more of a command. If it had been one thing he didn't want and that was to be ambushed in a dark hall.
Hearing the headmaster's order Sethias took hold of Siri's hand and headed to the front of the group. He lit a small orb of light careful not make it to bright noting that if it was it would probably irratate both Zoel's and Cross' eyes. "How's that everybody?"

"Hm...fine," she replied, looking up. The sudden change of light blinded her for a brief second, but after blinking a few times, it returned. Her ears stood up straight, twitching a bit with every sound they could catch. She took a step back, rasing her pole slightly, but since she saw nothing, she let her arms drop a bit, not wanting to walk in that position. She made sure to not look at the orb itself, watching the five of them. An odd smell passed her nose, one she had never smelt before, and she was pretty sure it wasn't the people with her. She brushed it off, deciding to ignore it for now.

Feeling his hand wrap around hers, she squeezed gently before following him to the front of the group. The lack of light had dilated her eyes, then the sudden burst had somewhat blinded her. Squinting, she turned her face away momentarily before facing forward. The hallway freaked her out and made her nervous. Her body tensed slightly, at every noise that rang in her ears. "Creepy.. as hell.." Feeling uncomfortable, she tightened her grip on his hand a little more, his presence calming her some.

Rolling out in front of them a little ball of fur which soon rolled to a stop before stretching out itself and sitting. It was a small tiger cub with feathers protruding from his back that were more recongnizable to be wings. The little cub purred and played with a small dust bunny. Oblivious to their presence.
Lord Dynas eyed the cub worriedly. He was not sure if it was a trick or if the animal was simply just that a playful baby tiger.
Zoel smiled and sigh at the adorable little cub. "Looks like we got alittle jumpy for nothing?"
A frown settled on Sori's face. "I don't like it. If this is baby where's mommy and daddy?" He didn't care how cute it was if it was in Vaun's castle it had to be evil.
Lord Dynas could agree with that. If there was a baby there was more than likely parents. "On you toes everyone. I'm not saying to hurt the little one, just be careful."

Blinking several times, she scrunched up her nose in confusion. "What is a baby tiger, doing in a castle?" Studying the tiger quickly, it didn't seem dangerous, but she couldn't let her guard down. Kicking a tiny rock, she aimed to hit it. She wasn't kicking a rock at it to hurt it, but to see what kind of reaction it would have. "Hmmm..."

The baby tiger stopped its purring and looked up at them noticing them for the first time. He stood up and tilted its head side to side blinking several times quizically. And than without so much of a warning Began meowing in a whine as if it were hurt.
"No, no, no, no, no, hush up little guy." Zoel ran to grab it and stop it from crying when he looked up to see a huge adult tiger hovering over head. Pointing up inconspicously he looked back to the others. "Hey, Sori, remembered when you asked where's mommy, well........"
The mother tiger landed letting out an enormous roar that echoed in the hallway. As crazy as it was she began to speak with them through telepathy. 'I'm am Saraj and if you know what's good for you you'll leave my son alone and follow me. The master is expecting you and has prepared a small meal for you, his honored guest.' Saraj picked her cub up by the tuff of his fur at his neck and headed down the hall in a pace they could follow.
Sori didn't like the idea but he saw that Lord Dynas was following so he did the same.
Sethias tighten his grip on her hand as if to say it would be alright as long as they stayed together. Than headed after the others.
Zoel released a breathe he had been holding since the adult tiger appeared. He was somewhat interested by the offer of food but weary of the hand that was offering it.
As the got to the end of the hallway a sensational aroma filled the air. The large double doors at it end opened wide to reveal a elogant dining table , which set upon it as promise was a feast. To the far side of the room was a gothic style throne and behind it a beautiful stained window that lead to a balcony. On the leftside of that off to the corner was an elogant medieval bed next to it a nightstand. And not to far from that a comfortable chair by a bookcase and fireplace.

Cross found herself staying a ways back from the group, following them hesitantly. When they entered the room she found herself in shock, but didn't show it. Her nose itched, the scent being a little too strong for her liking. She held her pole with one hand, letting the other fall to her side. "Odd.." she whispered, her eyes searching the room for anything strange. The food seemed inviting, but unless someone else ate it, she wouldn't touch it. She took a step in, keeping her eyes on the others for now.

Nodding in response to his grip, she followed almost obediently. Blinking in surprise, she had expected some evil throne, chains and dead bodies lying around. Instead, what she walked into seemed to resemble a medieval dining room. Examining the room quickly, she etched small details into her mind, making sure to keep them memorized. Nothing seemed to be that strange, not including the whole place, but the area almost looked inviting. Considering the circumstances, Siri mentally smacked herself when her eyes locked onto a bookcase, neatly placed near a comfortable looking chair and a warm fireplace. "Sethias.. I don't like this place.."

The baby tiger struggled free of his mothe than bounded to the table of food. Jumping on a chair with a booster seat on it he waited for everyone else to join. He licked his lips in patiently. 'Takar mind you manners.' scolded the mother tiger. Entering from the balcony a handsome man with long blonde her waltz in to the room. "Please, sit enjoy." he said as he walked to the head of the table and sat.
Lord Dynas grip had tighten on the hilt of his sword so much that it began to bleed and he had to release it. "What is this Vaun!?" he demanded. He wasn't in the mood for playing games and he knew there was more to the meal than just a meal.
Vaun simply gestured for them to sit down making no move nor tensing to show he wanted to fight. He gave Lord Dynas a curious look and a smug smirk. "Come Marquise, I wouldn't gather you as the rude and uncivilized type." By the end of his sentence the adult tiger Saraj had tooken a seat. "To think a mere animal to have more manners than you is somewhat interesting, wouldn't you say?"
Lord Dynas winced at the remarks but finally saw no choice other than to sit down or fight. He choose the less violent approach for the sake of his students if not but only to teach them an invaluable lesson. He sat down at the chair angled directly across from Vaun. He didn't ask his students to do the same nor would he expect them to.

Cross looked up and shook her head. "N-No thanks," she mumbled, bowing a bit, unable to find a polite way to decline. Her ears flattened again, and her tail went limp. Lord Dynas seemed a bit tense, and it worried her. She looked to the side, averting her gaze from the rest, seeming to take interest in the ground. She looked up once again, only to study the room, taking in slight details here and there, and to see what everyone was doing as well.

"Don't think for one sssecond you fool me. I know a wolf in ssssheeps clothing when I ssssee it." hissed Sori. His temper was beginning to flare and with it his snake half showed more and more. He folded his arm to show he intended on standing no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
Zoel sighed. Seeing no present danger he took a seat by the headmasster. He eyed the food suspicously. He was hungry and the food didn't smell or look half bad. His hands shoke and his ear twitched as he resisted his urge to gorge himself.
Not wanting to seem odd or rude Sethias released Siri's hand and went and sat across from Zoel. He was unerved by how comfortable the chair was and how graicous there so called host was being. His eyes focused on his feet and the floor so he would not have to meet the guy Vaun's gaze.
