Ryu smirks some and says "good thing kari's grown to like me then, huh." he reaches and arm around Lyokos waist and slides her onto his lap, still leaving her close to Kari.

She allowed herself to be moved and curled up to him warmly, the sun now showing very brightly. "Mhm, or I'd have rejected your proposal."

Ryu smirks some and says "then you'd have missed out on the chance of having a child." He lightly rubs her tummy as he says that. "But enough of what if's. We're in the here and now."

"Yes, and now is when you find out when I should be having the twins. My guess is about three months, maybe four if something upsets me or stresses me out. Think you'll be ready for twins so soon?"

Lyoko nodded as he spoke. "We'll see how much trouble they are when they get here, maybe we'll be lucky and they wont be such a handfull as we think." She rested her head on his shoulder.

He reaches one arm across her shoulder as she lays her head on his shoulder and offers a kisses to her forehead. Kari had laid her head and part of her body in their laps, seeming to be slipping into a nap.

She pet Kari's head but stayed awake, looking up at Ryu. "What're you thinking about, besides the twins."

Ryu smiles some and says "how my lord will act when he finds I've finally chosen a bride. How some girls will be jealous that I chose you and not them." Looks to her with a slightly more serious look and says "how good a father I will be to our children."

She leaned up and kissed him softly. "You'll be a great father, if you know how to take care of me and Kari then I think you'll do fine. I know you'll be a good father to our girls."

Ryu smiles and returns her kiss. Just then a man rides into the castle and makes his way to the two. He stops just short of them and kneels on one knee, head bowed. "My lord, clean up and preparation of the newly aquired lands is complete." Ryu looks to the messenger and nods "good tell the engineering crew to begin surveying for an ideal location for the new stronghold." the scout nods "yes my lord" then stands and leaves them.

She looked up at him as the scout left. "New strong hold? We moving so close to me giving birth?" Kari was also looking at Ryu curiously.

Ryu shakes his head and say "oh no, the place I'm having them build will take at least a year to build. Currently I have the bulk of my men garrisoned here, but with them working on having families and my own family in the works, I need to make room so I'm having a second built to house my army and to be a place to fall back to in case some manages to come with enough force to assult this castle."

Ryue nods and then says "so far I've only had to deal with one small rebellion after another, nothing major. Last war I fought in was a century ago, and that's the one that saw the start of my reign here and the subsequent peace that followed."
