While Elzam was dodging the blasts, a transmition came in on his comm!
"Captain Elzam, the Kurogane is ready to retreat!" Leona said over it. "Rodger." Elzam said on the comm, then on a broad radio channel, "All units retreat! Back to the Kurogane and the Hangane!" He then turned around, and quickly retreated... "... We'll continue this another day... I will not die until the Dominion is destroyed." He said to himself, as he boarded the Kurogane.

Breaths...

Breaths were the only thing he could notably hear for the moment; his own, as he vaguely watched the chaotic yet somehow silent surroundings while being carried by the small girl. He grunted, as they hopped over something dark, and sat beside her. It started to switch on, and they rose, escaping through the fires, and to the deep blackness of space.

He gently held the back of his head to feel the blood trickling down through his hair, and as he slowly moved his fingers upward, winced almost despairingly as he felt a big glass piece stuck deep on it, his nerves shaking and throbbing as he touched it. With that, he winced even more at becoming aware of all his wounds from the back that struck like knives. He strived to look over to the monitor. He saw several flashing lights of a grand battle, and a few green mobile suits flashed by. One of them beamed its single red eye at them, and aimed its rifle at their direction. Ray's eyes went wide as the gun's tip glowed bright before the craft swayed to the right and swooped over and away.

"Captain Elzam. I have successfully escaped with Ray..." He heard Rin's voice, as he vaguely say the monitor aproaching the Kurogane. He smiled and felt relieved that they had made it, amazed that she really was a pilot. The hatch opened and they went in. It was the last image Ray remembered seeing before everything turned pitch black.

((this is for Rehosukaga's post. LOL 60 is large enough, considering how long it would take to charge that much energy, and so the ship should be able to evade by then, and considering how much your accuracy will drop from losing control on containing the high power surge.))

"What is that?! Is that GUNDAM... it's exceeding its power limit!" A crewman exclaimed, watching as the Red GUNDAM began charging an overly powerful beem that was more than twice as much its cannon can fire. "Start moving now! Tell all units to stay out of its line of fire!" The Captain yelled, and immediately sent a broadcast towards the remaining Zakus in the battlefield. The cannon fired, even throwing back the red unit, and headed straight for the battle cruiser.

"Aaah! Ah- tshshshshsh" The radio lost contact of at least 5 units and made a cluster of explosions along the powerful beam's path. "Evade!" The Captain commanded, and the cruiser made extreme swaying as it strived to get out of the way, rocking forth the people inside (with Ryn of course), but alas, the strong beam hit the very edge of the right flank of the ship, and obliterated about 23% of the ship's common firepower, disconnecting 3 beam cannons, 3 machine guns, and main plasma cannon. It rocked the ship even more ferociously and forced all of the crew to wince and brace themselves. They immediately set for counter attacks, and fired their beam cannons, but the unit had gone too far for them to actually hit, and docked into one of the ships. The Captain gritted her teeth at the cowardice action. Just then, Captain Gustov radioed them all, "Helios, Laeza, and Froogin over to coordinates, L, 4, R, 07, S, Se, 54, maximum thrust."

This gave her the hint that stage two of the battle had commenced, and noded, "The Laeza shall proceed to the given coordinates. Get the technicians to clean up the mess over to the weapons shut down on the right flank, and let's get moving."

"Aye Aye!"

Ryn hit the wall when the cruiser took a hit. Grunting he slid down it, blood once more trickling from his wounds, followed by a long and colorful set of curse words.

"They aren't doing to good eh?", Ryn said, turning back, and reaching where the two soldiers had been earlier. The first still lay on the floor, out cold, and the second was standing back, though Ryn could now see a small sign saying,"Bridge" on it. Grinning he walked forwards, heading straight for the bridge, ignoring the cowering soldier.

The Kurogane and the Hangane blew their engines at full, the Regiem 07 colony finally making an enormous destructive burst behind them, that threw several chunks of materials in all directions and scattering all over the place. The force of the final explosion, though not penetrating through any of the ships' armors, could be felt by everyone, as an overwhelming event.

Just by then, from behind clouds of dust ahead of the colony, past the escape pods that intercepted through them like bullets through skin, 4 UED battleships emerged, and were already well ahead of the two EAF ships' path, blocking their way. The second half of the L4 24th Division had arrived, and immediately dispatched their 32 Zakus into combat. The three Zakus that remained and were coming from behind, recieved additional reinforcements, as the 4 UED battle ships from behind, dispatched their remaining mobile suits, gaining a total of 19. The battle cruisers were slowly making their way to the sides, and launching their own mobile suits.

The Laeza and Froogin launched their Zakus, 16 in all, with the Helios' remaining 6 Leos plus the two that weren't launched earlier on, gaining a total of 24 mobile suits (8 of which are Leos which you have to use the battle system with, for they are elite).The Minerva and Luna to the other side launched their own mobile suits, 20 Leos in all.

All the ships and mobile suits were well spread apart like nets all around them, in a sphere, not permitting escape.
