Walking up to the gate, he looked bemused at the comet coming, the creature flying in the air then falling. Thinking took a while for Craig, he decided that they were a Purifier against a defender. Then came the choice of whether to go to the pentagon and attack, or join the battle. Then he remembered his rules...Gods before Purifiers..

So he then began gaining speed, and into a run as he hit the gate, cement breaking under his feet. the thunderous sound of such a heavy creature hitting the ground with that strength sounded more like tank than a human. The gate busted open wiht great force as he charged into it, ignoring the guards, for they were worthless... the people in the pentagon, however, were to be killed.. and knowing human ingenuity, craig is making his line of attack straight from the front of the pentagon all the way through it to the helicopters...

Siouxsie sat up and began walking towards nothing in particular only wishing to find people to interact with. Taking her time as she looked around the site of no one around made her wonder for the first time why there were so few people around when not too long ago she could walk into any town or city and there would be dozens of mortals to pester and entertain her. "This is getting on my nerves" after saying that she released her wings letting them stretch out before she took flight into the air looking below her to find some sort of movement.

Lord Exodus

PostPosted: Tue Aug 28, 2007 6:31 am

Exodus walked along the dirt pathway towards a rather large crater, the same one he had made from when he had landed on this desilent place, each step he took, his aura begain to grow slightly more colder, he was not the same holy warrior that had been casted down from the heaven's, he now had a slight evil taint, he now seemed to be depressed at what he had saw, his sheathed blade was no longer pure with white energy, it almost looked like he did not take care of it, it looked as if it was black with a slight rust to it, it's red aura would also never allow him to get back into the heavens on were he had come from. ''Ke....ke...ke...'' Is all the man spoke as he knelt down in the crater, knowing that he was stuck on the planet.

Things were happening. An explosion. Near the Pentagon. The dragon-man was hit, but not irrecoverably. He was also advancing towards the being who appeared to be on the offensive.

Mark seriously needed to figure out what was going on here.

He didn't want to leap into a fight and start hurting people he didn't want to hurt, yet it was pretty clear who was making the offensive movement.

Then the dragon spoke a word. From context, it was a proper noun, something that was unusual for the language Mark was learning. The dragon was referring to the two beings in front of him. And in Mark's mind, "purify" could easily mean destroy. These were the people. Or at least a group of them.

So he did the logical thing. He punched out a manhole on the surface of the bridge, leapt up, and started running for the combat, the blocky twin-barreled energy SMG growing on his wrist again.

Ryn hissed, slowly advancing forwards, saying under his breath,"Two purifiers, both most likely strong, and I decided to take them on by myself... What was I thinking?"

Stopping seven feet from them he said,"What are you Purifiers, planning on doing? If you are following the gods instructions I cannot allow you to continue."

His wings shook behind him, blood trickling down between the thick black scales. His eyes drew into a cold glare, one that any being could make out as contempt, for what he knew these two were trying to do.

A massive explosion rocked the entire city of Washington D.C.. Amadeus almost fell down from the force of... he didn't know what it was. He had no idea what could cause an explosion that big. It definitely wasn't an earthquake: they don't make massive bomb-type sounds. His first thought was that terrorists had somehow managed to wreak some serious havoc, and the most likely place they would strike would be...

... The Pentagon.

Turning to look in the general direction of the building, Amadeus's stomach plummeted when he saw a massive dust storm erupting where the Pentagon was. He had no idea what was going on, but if terrorists had indeed struck at the central hub of America's military, things were going from bad to worse very quickly. He took off at a run for the National Guard's headquarters. Without his weapons and equipment, there would be nothing he could do, really. He needed to get his assault rifle first, then he could help combat... whoever had caused this.

(HP: 40)

Kin felt several special pressences nearby. "Hm... So the gods called in everyone," and frowned, "But their strife to mislead the rebels isn't working as they'd intend." Letting go of the girl's shoulders, he muffled out a small laughter before bursting out in dark chuckle. He flew over her and stood in front, seemingly to protect, then went to gaze deep into the half-dragon's eyes, glaring, "Deffender huh? Despite the gods' failure, it seems that my wish has been granted... some challenge."

((My roll is to see whether he can successfully peek into Ryn's mind or not. If it's 1 through 6, twisted you'd have to show your character's worst fears lol.))

((DANGIT! Its a six >.< I'm trying to figure out how you can frighten him though, since he is most afraid of water, and drowning in it>.<))

Ryn stood there, as a single, deadly fear floating to the surface of his mind.

It was him, alone, in the middle of the ocean. He was flying, for all he was worth, but he knew he couldn't make it to land. He was in the middle of the ocean, no land in sight, and he was getting tired. Slowly, he drooped towards the water, screaming, knowing he was going to drown, to his death.

He gasped, shuddering, before roaring,"PURIFIER!!!"

His sword slid from its sheath, the four foot long blade sliding slowly out, the metal sound like a note on a piano, drawn out far to long.

((Lucky me! 4laugh ))

"Ahahahahahahahaha!" Kin laughed wildly at this, not being able to believe how simple-minded the deffender was. Spreading forth his arms, water started to flow out from behind him, and surrounded the winged being, to engulf him. Kin's eyes opened wide, and started to mess with the being's mind, filling him with horrifying imaginations of drowning.

At that moment, Sakeri's entire world went dark. Her hazel orbs flashed an emerald green before they faded black. Wisps of gray smoke began to fly off of her as Kin dove toward the earth.

When he set her down, a large wolf thudded off the figure in a cloud of grey smoke. It left one lone figure standing in her place. A young man. His shagged platinum blond hair hung over a pair of metallic yellow eyes, which glared at Kin with silent rage. He knelt next to the wolf, concern gripping him to the very core. He ran a coarse hand through her soft reddish fur, cursing himself for allowing harm to come to her. Amati cradled the canine carefully before placing her on his shoulder.

Spotting the curved blade aongst the greenery, he snatched it up from the grass. Almost immeadiently, wisps of grey swirled aroud it. The blade straightened itself as it grew in length and small feathery, leather threads burst out the end of the handle. Amati's hand gripped the blade with a vengence as he glared at the shifter, but he remained silent. Sakeri wouldn't violence to begin in their already small group. So, he remained silent, yet ready to protect her at any given moment.

A low rumble began to shake the earth, and a whir of gears began to sound. Out of nowhere, soldiers and tanks began to pour out from every direction. Soon, even helicopters thundered the skies. Amati moved accordingly and lowered himself into a defensive stance.

"This isn't going to be easy," he thought quietly to himself.

One thing blocked his way, then many. The gunshots where the least of his problems, before the tank got a good view of shot, Craig hit the tank wiht all his force. Yes, there was a substantial dent in the tank, but it stopped the man of metal. Soon it became a pushing match, and the tank was winning. Craig blamed the superior grip the tank had on the ground.

An idea popped into his head before he was put under the tank. Istead of fighting the push, he rolled onto the body of the tank, and grabbed hold of the Turret. Lifting with all his might, and moving closer for better leverage, he finally pulled the turret off. He then stepped off the tank and unto the ground with his new projectile. Swinging around, keeping his eye on his target, he launched the turret to another tank. The collision put the other tank out of commission, but what the humans had over the purifiers was numbers. That and the inevitable defender that will eventually join the battle.

He stopped to get a hold of himself after swinging the turret, and then he got hit in the back with a tank round. he was sent flying into a monument in front of the pentagon, which he collided into and literally skipped off into the ground. Slowly getting to his feet he looked at his enemies. there were many, and not enough for just Craig to deal with. Eventually he'll get a rocket or something to the head and he's out for good...

"Hmm?" Kin turned around to see all the insects flood the area from every direction, but he wouldn't let them interfere that easily. He finally got his chance,a nd he wouldn't like the jellybags getting in his way. He spread his arms low, and breathing out, a second winged Kin somewhat came out of his ghostly essense, and flew up into the sky. The second Kin clasped his hands together, and sent a strange wave that cleared the atmosphere and spread the hovering clouds of dust flying even faster away than they normally should.

"This is delta five, approachin- what the heck?! Turn back! Turn back! Aaaah-ack-" An immense amount of rock and dirt hammered their way through the tough glass window of the helicopter, and penetrated into the immediately suffacating pilots. The very dust darkened the once clear blue sky, and launched themselves like immense tidal waves. "Argh!" "Waaah!" "Oh my- ack!" From the inside of the tank, these disturbing cries were accompanied by the incessant thuds and cracks far worse than that of the pounding of heavy rain, "W-what's going on?" asked one nervously, despite his trained attitude. Th other, who was watching through the scope for outside vision could only stay silent, his mouth wide open in awe, "What are those?" The rapid dust went through the armor of the tank, and the last heard of them was a horrified shriek in the tank's explosion.

"Hahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!" The Kin over the air laughedout loud as he watched copters and jet crash down and explode upon hitting the ground, the surrounding infantry create a blood bath from their own systems, and the tanks get penetrated, have their turrets get stuffed with dirt, and blow up one by one. The other Kin in front of the deffender merely gave a malicious smirk, as he continued to work on hsi nightmare visions while actually drowning the being with real water.

The water rushed around Ryn, and his anger and fear grew, until he was little more than a struggling mass in the water, his wings beating uselessly, and his sword caught in it, unable to reach his foe.

When Kin switched to the humans, Ryn got a second of chance, and broke through the surface of the water, howling with rage,"PURIFIER!!! I WILL CRUSH YOU!!"

He roared, swinging his arms, before aiming himself at Kin and taking a deep breath in. A second later, he closed his eyes, and breathed slowly out, though it wasn't air that left his mouth. Searing flames roared from his lips, directly towards the Purifier.

More in shock than anything, Craig looked at the tattered pieces of the tanks and people. He was more than likely interested in his job at hand, but something drove Craig to the nearest tank. He walked and stepped into the ruin, there were two people, one obviously dead the other alive, but with his legs trapped. The soldier looked at Craig with fear, but Craig didn't care, he was worthless.

However, something drove Craig to walk near the person, he knelt down and stared into his eyes. The man was bleeding to death and Craig noticed a part of the soldier was fighting for life. He soldier spat at the ground towards Craig. "Freak, Kill me, after all, who ever the hell made you obviously lost some points on originality!"

Craig looked shocked at the man. "You don't fear me?" he then lifted the object of the soldier and pulled him to face Craig. "Why don't you fear me?"

The soldier gave a weak laugh. "Because I know, deep down, that man has seen worse than you. We've fought worse than you. Bring down your monsters! Humanity has something much worse inside of them than anything you can bring out in us! We've seen what humanity can do to each other, and we've seen what we can do together... Oh, you may individually be more powerful than a human, but you don't compare to what humans can do as a unit or country...O...Rah..." He then passed out.

Craig looked at the broken man, then over to the defender fighting a purifier. For once in his entire being, Craig didn't listen to orders. He walked towards the Purifier, known as Kin, carrying the soldier over his shoulder. "Purifier! PURIFIER! This man doesn't fear us! We are failing!"

((Saki, Ryn told the others to run, and though I doubt that they would in these circumstances, I'd just not try to attack them and such. And please show your HP, Souron. Wait, come to think of it, that dirt explosion also counts as an attack. rofl I'll put it in as a roll, and with this current attack, I roll twice. rofl I hope it's fine with you.))

HP: 36

As the clone Kin disappeared in the clear atmosphere, the original Kin worked his magic to create shield around Saki and her human companion, despite feeling the tense opposition Amati had for him, which by then caussed him enough distraction as to not expect the deffender's attack. "What the," The fire caught Kin by surprise and wasn't able to dodge the attack, being pushed back. He frowned at this and brought forth his hand, summoning a great water dragon to swallow his opponent thus far, not caring about anybody else around him. He didn't even care to listen at the other special being approaching, "What I care about right now is the destruction of the rebels," a malignant smirk crossed his face, "Oh the joy..."

((Whoops. Sorry, I edited my post as to involve with what you posted, Mike. sweatdrop ))
