*Luke's voices raises as well.* I'm only telling you what I know! She said when she went back. *Luke can barely say the words.* She said they were going to kill her. And if they didn't do that, they were just going to "reprogram her".

Reprogram? How can a human be reprogrammed? Janani looks at the two, utterly confused, as they rant back and forth.

::Nyx faded in on the floor, sitting right beside Janani. The first thing she noticed was the fact that this person next to her was very, very much larger than her. The second was the cat plushie in this person's arms... she found that a bit strange.::
Uhm... hi there.
::She was a little surprised, but her attention was quickly averted to Luke and K. Neither of them looked very happy.::

*Luke looks to Janani and Nyx, but he can't offer them any answers.*
*He turns back to K. Who is continuing to freak out. Upon hearing the last part, Luke lets out a laugh - except it's not a laugh. It's born of pain.*
If it didn't happen, then I'm ******** nuts, K! *Luke shakes his head. And maybe he was. Maybe they all were.*
*But no. Luke doesn't believe he's crazy - not yet.* I didn't want to believe it either. But you didn't see her. You didn't see her, alright? I was there...and.
And she'll never be the same again. *Luke looks around. He realizes again very clearly - that he can't do this. That this is too much.* And it didn't have to happen. If she would have just stayed away. If she would just have stayed out of the Brink, this never would have happened to her.

Not really... They mentioned something about...reprogramming Cora... They also mentioned something about the Seraphim... I'm lost and confused, really...
Janani, carefully, whispers to the girl she's never seen who happens to be sitting right next to her. She heaves a sigh. She has no, earthly idea what's going on. Terra and Heaven's Light...what is going on?

*The scream barely registers an effect. If anything, Luke finds solace in it - where he has lost the energy to scream. He stares forward, running on autopilot - as he has been since it happened.*
*He repeats.* When she went back, they knew. They knew that she was coming here. They decided that she'd gone postal... That she had lost her ******** mind. *Luke now could understand the conclusion. If he was this bad.... He continues.* They scrambled her brain.... Brainwashed her til she didn't know her own ******** name. Gave her grey hair and blue clothes and slapped some kind of computer chip in her wrist.
*Luke's voice has lost its emotion. He didn't feel enraged. He didn't feel the peace of acceptance. He's gone. He feels nothing.*
And that's it. *He doesn't mention the rest. He's not ready to go there.* That's it.

Something in Kal's voice... What was it about Kal's voice and question that made Janani uneasy? She stares, mouth agape, towards them. There's something familiar...isn't there? Shaking her head, she looks back to Nyx. She seems to know something of what they speak. Janani tilts her head as she quietly asks her something that really kind of proves her ignorance.
Why? What's wrong with Cora? More importantly...why do they seem to dislike the righteous Seraphim?

*Luke doesn't even really respond when K leaves. He doesn't understand. He can't have any idea what happened with Cora, and now he has no idea what's happened with K.*
*He hopes that K's heading his advice. That he left because that's what was best for him and his sister.*
*Luke trudges around to the bar. He rests his arms and head against the bar, absolutely miserable.*
