How many three octave scales do you guys know?? I'm trying to figure out your ranges cause as Far already knows and I think You might know, Ting, I play flute anf pic also.
I only know the E flat, G, F, and B flat scales on two octaves. But I also know more notes outside those scales.

You're in middle school. that's right..
I've been required to memorise all 13 scales at least two octaves and and the C scale three octaves and perferably the D flat and D scales three octaves also. and I play the B scale three octaves.
Yes but if I wasn't taking lessons I would know nothing even close to that. In highschool, I think the highest note, well at least what my teacher guessed, would be a high B flat, I can already reach it.

Try going higher then cause the higher fingerings are in most fingering charts. The flute is able to go quite a bit higher than B flat.

Don't worry I guessed that it was 3rd octave. I can play the 4th octave C, D flat and D and I think It goes higher than that also. I think maybe to F or so.

The highest note on my fingering chart goes up to is 4th octave C, but it also has all the sharps and flats.

Hmm... I know there are fingering charts that go higher.. I think mine does but I'm not sure and I don't really feel like finding it at the moment. I'll check sometime and let you know.

If you have a scanner you can transfer the file via msnm. Thank you, if you ever find it.

I know xd but I hate low notes, I can play them, but they don't register in my mind as fast as higher notes, plus I'm almost always used to playing high notes so it's a pain whenever I see them.
