I also took Music Theory in college. It was a fun course, and an easy A (at least for me)
@Grunny: You're band kids. Of course you rule!

It was awesome. =D

Dude. Our Guard won the entire Northwest region, and went to world championships. We won state back in 2008, and got... Third in state last year, I do believe. This was the show from last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0BJd6bg2hs

How cool. My last year in Marching Band, we managed to win 1st place in the Finals of the North East Scholastic Band Association for the first time in... probably ever. Definitely made our year.
My Marching Band career went out with a bang, I have to say. biggrin I still remember the cheer we all shouted when we found out we won:
"Let's! Get! A little bit rowdy! R! O! W! D-Y!!!"
(Our school was Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High, or D-Y for short)

I know there's a place in texas that uses that too. Ours are. "Everybody do the sky hawk rumble, everybody do the sky hawk rumble Everybody Rumble." "Sky hawks got the sky hawks got the juice, juice." But those are more universal ones I think.

Sky hawks? Really? That's what my college changed its name to my Sophomore Year. The Stonehill Skyhawks. (Formerly the Cheiftains)
