Resonance of Crystals Malix123 You mentioned that after you actually did it secondly no to the parallel dimension. I will speak plainly I have already been keeping an eye on your characters for potential godmodding. If you have mentioned before Hikaru got bitten what you were planning I would have worked with you differently and this would not be happening. I am working with what you have given me and with the fact that it could have gone more in your favor though you can keep it though you will have to work with me on it. Shades are not necromancy it is the combination of time manipulation and the manipulation of a special semi-physical substance. Both are individual powers of two of the "enemy" npcs. Wolf's character is not a kitsune he is a shapeshifter. Shapesifters can retain some animal parts even in human form. His character can appear perfectly normal but he chooses not to. It has to do with his power. I don't mind character development though things such as that are a step that I personally wish to know about before hand. Such as a alternate reality monster comes in and takes a bite out of your character and then leaves. That is something you should tell me about before you do it. Because it is far more likely that a lycantrope would attack others as well unless it had intelligence in which case again you should mention it to me. Also werewolves are a form of lycantropcy. @Aria: When I mean Kitsune... I MEAN A SHAPESHIFTER WHOSE PRIMARY ANIMAL FORM IS A FOX! A Kitsune is also a person with fox-like ears and tail who can transform into Foxes. Baka.
@Malix: Shades are the deceased spirits of others, yes? Then that is Necromancy. There is no such thing as Time Manipulation Raising the Dead. And is that substance Ectoplasm?
By the way... Lycanthrope means a person who is able to transform into a wolf. It is not a catch-all term... the word YOU are LOOKING for is Therianthrope. Were-Wolves are also different to Lycanthropes in that they have NO control over their transformation and it is always into a hybrid form and never into a full animal form. Get it right. For the love of god why am I the only one who researches all this in depth?! Lycanthropes DO NOT ALWAYS possess a Hybrid form, they 99.95% of the time have an animal and a human form but never a hybrid form, except for the 0.05%, but THEY have control over their transformations and aren't affected by that full moon crap.
|~| Ok you at first defying the actual mythological information of Kitsune (which I do know japanese mythology along with egyptian and greek happen to be something I am quite interested in) and then go with the old folklore about the differences between lycans and werewolfs. That is a hole stick to only going with it partly or fully. Also Kyle is not a kitsune he is a shape shifter who has one animal and it happens to be a fox. Now it is the the spirit of the person in the first place. A individual pulls the conciseness of a being from the past and places into a false body. The person is tormented by having to relive their death over and over in a time loop to them and they are not a perfect shade unless they can get over that. A shade is made up of memories of the past tide together with the substance i spoke of. No it is not ectoplasm. Now it matters not simple as this. For the sake of the rp in this world or any dimension unless you give me a good enough explination lycantrope and werewolf are the same thing. Also even if I do let that then you would have to explain enough to get me to back down on the fact that even if it was from a different dimension it would affect you the same as the closet in this dimension or death. So in short there is little you can do without jumping through many many hoops to get me to back down this time. @aria: it has to do with the ? character it will end with a one vs one match because of what happens to the ? character during it.

And also, Time Manipulation has nothing to do with the Spirit, Necromancy can manipulate the Spirit so it is also involved. Honestly... And by Conciseness you mean Consciousness right. So it involved Necromancy, Time Manipulation and Astral Projection.
Seriously, I gave you a damned good explanation. Think of it this way. Were-Wolves are CURSED with Lycanthropy, therefore they have no control over their transformation, and also have a degenerate and corrupted version of Lycanthropy. Lycanthropes have more or less always had it, either born with it or BLESSED with it, in their case they have control over their transformation. The word Lycan in the word 'Lycanthrope' means Wolf. And Lycanthropy (or Lycanthropcy or howver you spell it) means the ability to transform into a wolf. Therianthropes are essentially the lycanthropic versions for other animals OTHER than Wolves. Therefore Lycanthrope is not the catch-all term. Therienthrope is the correct term. Get it damned well right.
Honestly... the differences are so obvious even a child would see them and yet you are saying that I haven't told you any. Did you hit your head or something today?

my parents are going to cut our modem off soon, they told me they would since i've been on till 5 or 6 am the last 12 nights, and they are "fed up"....so i may have to stop responding to you guys soon.

You got the term right I misspell when it is late and I am tired.
No it is not necromancy I will say this now it is not necromancy there is a character later that causes trouble that does have necromancy powers. Though the extent of her power is she controls skeletons. There is a difference between raising the dead and pulling someone's thoughts feelings and memories from the past, right as they died, into the present. You gave me a definition of the differences between two terms which generally mean the same thing. Werewolfs is commonly used for both as is lycanthropes it is more correct to use them for the appropriate situation. Here is a thought what if these old people didn't know about the distinction and just used werewolf as a comparison? What if i did not care about the distinction because it is not all that important right now?
OH and lets not forget the fact that Hikaru was bitten by a lycantrope which means he would be cursed by one and thus turn into a werewolf if you were to go by the common old folklore. He would have no control over it period.
Now this is simple you are not I repeat NOT making Hikaru a lycanthrope or a werewolf. His powers are already near god mod level. So the point is simple him being a lycanthrope is not acceptable so ether he gets nothing from it at all, turns into a rampaging monster that is killed, or gets a minor shape shifting ability.

When they meant Curse they meant DISEASE! In folklore, both Vampirism and Lycanthropy were Curses, however logically they are diseases. Were-Wolves were basically an explanation for Rabies.
I am not going by folklore with this, I am going by common fantasy. Hell... the thing about Hikaru's lycanthropy causing him to only have a Human and an Animal form and no Hybrid form is freaking borrowed from the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons "True Lycanthrope" who are the offspring of true lycanthropic parents, not possessing a hybrid form. And also, just because Lycanthropy is technically a disease (honestly, a curse can not cause that kind of thing to happen, the only way for it to be is due to a disease. Because it involves transformation of DNA and such, Curses wouldn't be able to do that because it would be an altering of the DNA and such, and only Diseases and a few other things can do that, Curses are spiritual things).
Let us assume there are 3 types of Lycanthropes/Were-Wolves. True Lycanthropes, who are the offspring of both parents being Lycanthropic. Regular Lycanthropes who are the children of a True Lycanthrope/Regular Lycanthrope and a NON-Lycanthropic being, or those infected by True Lycanthropes. And Were-Wolves who would possess the degenerate and corrupt form of Lycanthropy, normally those infected by Regular Lycanthropes, and since DNA (even that of diseases and such) changes due to adaptation when it enters a new body and alters DNA, the Were-Wolves Lycanthopy would be due to the body causing massive resistance to the disease and forcing the disease to alter itself in such a way that makes the stereotypical Were-Wolf.
Essentially. True Lycanthropes have the pure version of Lycanthropy. Regular Lycanthropes have a slightly derived version of the True Lycanthropy. And Were-Wolves has the Lycanthropy altered due to corruption of the genetic code of the disease as well as the body's immune system response.
Do realize that cells can only replicate a certain amount of times before the code gets corrupted and therefore altered. Ever heard the term 'mutation', and then that mutated disease is spread and eventually it mutates into a new disease.
So yeah... there you go.

@Aria: Apparently not many people do both subjects in the same year in America
@Malix: For all you know I might have the Lycanthropy cause Hikaru to lose most of the potency of his Meta-Physical Illusions power. You could have just asked me that or TOLD me to do that. Hell... I was planning to reduce the potency to just things like creating Masato's Physical Body, generating the Wings, and creating a Large Spear.
EDIT: Okay... he doesn't get enhanced strength, speed or agility, but he retains the ability to shift into any kind of wolf creature with a bit of augmented healing (who wants to visit the Nurse's office all the damned time?), with his Meta-Physical Illusion powers weakened, he can no longer release bursts of meta-physical energy particles. <.< That was primarily the most god-moddish part of it... Freaking Magic Missile Spam...

Ok first off when i started this you should have said that you would lower Hikaru's intial powers before you got defensive. I am not saying you are god modding because you arnt I said his powers are near godmod level as in you could easily slip into god modding without realizing it. I know you have enough skill to dance around it so it has been fine for the most part. Why mention physics and chemistry anyway? Just trying to make yourself seem smarter than me? Frankly I dont care if you are taking Physics and Chemistry sure it helps but that is not the issue here.
Ok here is the think about it going into his DNA this character Ethel her very power is to make a cure to an ailment a disease. The complexity determins how much power she must use to make it. She can cure anything but not on everyone. She makes a specilized cure that will cure one ailment on one person though by this she could cure cancer though it would nearly kill her at her age. This cure will do the same she will be sleeping in the nurse's office for a quite some time after this. I have heard of the term mutation but the point is this the blood sample would have both in it both the infected cells and normal cells. Her cure essentially multaplies the normal cells and uses their DNA to overrite the DNA of the other cells.
I like how you first double post then you post two more times still going on this when I have no way to respond. Now again I will tell you to take this discussion to the pms.
